JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa

We spent a little more than a week at JW Marriott just now. The staff (Malla our Thakuru, Kabir the housekeeper, James, Ita, Adam, Yuki, Ibbe, Dinesh....just to name a few...) were ABSOLUTELY friendly and did an amazing job!!! They all work hard, many hours and daily. The food was delicious and we liked the fact that there was no buffet. So, it felt there was a little less food waste....we did diving and Hussain and his team at the activities center did an amazing job. Also, wind surfing was fun! Their Yoga teacher Arbind was very well educated. I have taken Yoga lessons in many places, but he did just a great job. Thank you for making this trip so special!

The adventure began right away with the seaplane ride — it was so much fun! Watching the turquoise lagoons and tiny islands from above was absolutely breathtaking.||Our butler Malla took amazing care of us throughout our stay. He was so attentive, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect and helping us plan each day effortlessly. We went scuba diving with Best Dives, and made a few friends with sea turtles and stingrays. Also the sunrise yoga at 7am with Arvind is a must-do activity, practicing yoga by the beach as the sun rose was so calming and I learned more about the crow pose and snake rotations. But more importantly, I found calm and balance.||The food at Aailaa was delicious — thanks to Yuki and Ibbe, every meal felt like a treat. The breakfast spread was huge, and dinners by the ocean were just magical.||Would recommend to come in winter time with less rainy days best for snorkelling and diving.

That’s why we chose a beach villa, and it was absolutely spacious and beautiful!||The service at JW Marriott Maldives is truly outstanding. The staff are not fake or overly formal — they’re genuinely friendly and warm. The food quality was excellent as well; everything we tried was delicious.||A special thank you to Najaah, our butler, who made everything possible — from organizing a surprise for our anniversary to handling all our reservations. Just a perfect service all around!||One thing to keep in mind: if you don’t have an all-inclusive package, be prepared for high prices for food and drinks — as is common across the Maldives. But we knew this beforehand, and it was absolutely worth it.||Highly recommended! 🌴✨

My wife and I are fortunate to travel quite often for pleasure as well as myself traveling for business all over the United States. We have never experienced a more incredible property than the JW Marriott in the Maldives that we recently stayed at. The level of training that the staff has is impeccable along with the quality of the food, amenities, and just the personality and outgoingness of your staff really left us in awe. I am not one to write reviews and most of the time if it’s a great and a positive experience my wife and I will decide to visit there again but rarely do I write a review whether a property is good or bad but I can’t even begin to tell you how incredible the staff and property made this vacation for my wife and I. From the welcome ceremony when we arrived on the sea plane to the farewell sendoff we received leaving the property. I can’t say enough about it. We looked forward to speaking with the staff every day and learning about them and sharing a little bit about our family as well. We would like to recognize a few members of your staff that went out of their way to speak to us every day and make our vacation incredibly enjoyable. We would like to recognize Satyam in the Rum Bhann, Manish your Bar Manager, Natasha our incredible Butler, Danish your Executive pastry Chef, Sameera The Chef in your Steakhouse, Reena & Ita as well in your steakhouse, Mohamed, our housekeeper and James in you teppanyaki restaurant. These members of the staff went out of their way daily to speak to my wife and I and ensure daily that our vacation was perfect and we wanted for nothing. We will be back again in two years and we are already counting down the days. Thank you for exceeding our wildest expectations.

My boyfriend and I spent weeks researching which hotel/resort to stay at during our first visit to the Maldives and we can't have chosen better than the JW Marriott. The whole island has a quiet luxury feel to it with impecable service from the most friendly, efficient and professional team. We were extremely well taken care of by Hassan who saw to our every need and helped make our trip even more memorable. I also experienced very warm and thorough medical support during the last 2 days of my trip from Dr. Thander, Bhagya and Swati.

Our stay at JW Marriott Resort & Spa has been nothing short of amazing. My wife, our two daughters, and I had a truly wonderful family experience. The service throughout the resort was exceptional and exceeded all our expectations. The photoshoot session was a unique experience, as the photographer took us to the best locations, worked so patiently with us and the kids, and captured breathtaking shots. A very special thanks to our dedicated host, Malla, for his kindness and outstanding care. We will definitely treasure these memories and look forward to returning soon.

Here is how it went down for me: Najaah welcomed me to the Maldives in some awesome fashion. Then came the private seaplane lounge, and then came the absolutely amazing seaplane takeoff—an amazing amazing experience. It doesn't end there! When we landed at JW Marriott Resort & Spa Maldives, that moment was not even one for the books, but an absolute classic moment. Hassan introduced himself as my personal butler, and the entire team was there welcoming me with a Maldivian birthday song version and dance as I was ushered in. The buggy ride to the overwater villa was absolutely stunning. The tranquility, peace, nature, and all the good things that life can offer were everywhere. The overwater villa was nothing short of awesome; nothing beats that. To the souls whose paths crossed mine during this idyllic stay—Dj. BlueIvy (Kiki), Geeth, Ishan, Manish, Zahukuvan, Abdul Rahman, Siraj, MizhGonga, and Satyam—you were truly the architects of joy, the very stars that charted my island days 🌞 & nights 🌉, polishing each moment into a memorable pearl.
