The St. Regis Le Morne Resort, Mauritius

We had a wonderful stay and felt truly taken care of from start to finish. The team is extremely attentive, available, and always listening. From the very beginning, they asked about our dietary restrictions as well as our arrival and departure times, to make sure everything was perfectly organized around us. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful, with many activities, especially great for children. The food across the restaurants was excellent, truly a highlight of our stay. The team really pampered us. Every request we had was fulfilled, without exception. Morning coffee served in the room, a housekeeper helping us unpack and pack our suitcases, and many sweet little touches throughout the stay made a real difference. Comfort was never compromised. The New Year’s Eve celebration was exceptional and very high quality, with an impressive show including drones, fireworks, great music, and a vibrant atmosphere. It was beautifully organized and made the evening truly memorable. Above all, the staff is warm, smiling, and genuinely kind. We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already wanting to come back.

We stayed at The St. Regis Le Morne Resort in December 2025 for our honeymoon, and it was pure magic! Our suite was stunning, spacious, elegant, and had breathtaking views that made every moment unforgettable. The resort has four amazing restaurants, and the Indian restaurant was by far our favorite. Afternoon tea by the pool with the dreamy view was another highlight we loved. Breakfast was varied and delicious, giving us the perfect start to each day. There are plenty of water activities, including boat rides and kayaking, which made our stay even more fun and memorable. A heartfelt thank you to Ayman, whose warmth, attention, and genuine care made our honeymoon truly special. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and well taken care of. Every detail, from the gorgeous surroundings to the impeccable service, made this experience truly unforgettable. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait for the day we get to return!

We spent one week at The St. Regis Mauritius and had a wonderful stay. The resort is beautiful, with lush green grounds and stunning views. Throughout the week, the service was consistently attentive and friendly. Breakfasts offered a wide variety of options, and we especially enjoyed the Japanese restaurant and the Floating Market. The buffet also had plenty of good choices every day. Our room was spacious, clean, and refreshed several times a day. The butler Sharmila service was very helpful and added a nice personal touch to our stay. The hotel also kindly offered us a late check-out, which was very convenient for my dad. We truly appreciated this gesture.

I’d like to share my experience after a wonderful vacation with my 1-year-old daughter, especially since I couldn’t find many reviews from a parent’s point of view. The staff were incredibly kind to children and truly went above and beyond. My daughter celebrated her first birthday at the hotel, and the team decorated our room, brought a cake, and even surprised her with a small gift — she was thrilled! During meals, the staff always had a high chair ready, offered a kids’ menu, proposed to prepare fresh purées, and provided children’s dining sets (plates, bowls, bibs — everything you might need). I was worried about washing bottles with tap water, so they lent us a Philips Avent steriliser — another huge plus. On the beach you can find water, some days fresh coconuts and even baby sun cream for free. The hotel also has a kids’ club (we didn’t use it, but it’s available). The pools are heated and many children were happily using them. And the beach… absolutely wonderful. Truly one of the best places to stay in Mauritius. And of course — the food was delicious.

We stayed at The St. Regis Le Morne, Mauritius shortly after New Year. While the staff across the resort were genuinely very friendly and kind, the service was extremely slow, particularly in all of the restaurants. Dining often required a lot of patience, which was disappointing for a resort of this level. Moreover, on the first and second nights our neighbors were very loud at night. That said, our stay was completely transformed by our butler, Sam. She truly made the experience memorable and enjoyable, we honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. Sam was exceptional in every way. She handled all of our reservations seamlessly, surprised us with a lovely cake, and even unpacked my suitcase upon arrival. At one point, I asked her if she could come take photos of us on the beach, and she showed up right away with the biggest smile. Her attention to detail, warmth, and responsiveness were outstanding. If you plan to stay at the St. Regis Le Morne, ask specifically for Sam at butler services. She is absolutely excellent and the main reason we left with such positive memories. Highly, highly recommend.

The St Regis Mauritius is a picturesque property with a long, sandy beach and stunning views of Le Morne. The beach is lined with lots of palapas for guests to relax all day, and the water is always calm due to the waves breaking at the coral reef that surrounds the island. The hotel also offers complimentary water activities like snorkeling and kayaking. Our room was a bit dated, but it was comfortable. Housekeeping didn't feel like a luxury experience. Having a balcony with water views was the real treat as the property faces west, which means you get a gorgeous sunset every day. Several restaurants on site with great food, so you never have to leave! Food service could have been better across the board though. It was hard to find service near the pool and waiter service was slow at times during meals.The service didn't live up to what you expect from the St Regis.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | The St. Regis Le Morne Resort, Mauritius This was our first time staying at the St. Regis and we felt welcomed the moment we stepped out of the car. Although our check-in was delayed due to another guest’s late checkout, the team made up for it throughout our entire stay and the experience only got better from there. Service Our personal butler took the time to walk us through the room and the service was consistently warm, attentive and thoughtful. We always felt well cared for and nothing was too much to ask. Food Breakfast quickly became something we looked forward to every morning. The selection was generous with a great mix of classic and healthy options. Since we were on our honeymoon, the sweet treats were a lovely touch. The morning team was cheerful, friendly and genuinely happy to have conversations with us, which added so much to the experience. Activities There were plenty of activities to keep guests engaged and it is a wonderful place for families with active kids. We joined the morning yoga session and hiked up Le Morne, which were both memorable experiences. The facilities and amenities are well maintained and the overall environment is perfect for relaxation and light adventure. Overall We truly enjoyed our time at the St. Regis Mauritius and already look forward to returning. We had two suites for our family - rooms 263 and 264. They were immaculate in every way; spotlessly clean (Nafisha was particularly good) , extremely comfortable, well maintained and well appointed. The staff are consistently superb - at all levels - friendly, engaging, professional - they make you feel welcome and valued. The main pool is lovely. The gym is impressive for a hotel facility, and the gym staff are superb - all the equipment is immaculately clean and well maintained. We spent 4 nights there and did not want to leave. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone and the quality of food is impressive. We dined at 4 of their 5 restaurants; all were impressive in their own way - the Indian restaurant was probably the best overall and the Boat House Mediterranean was probably the weakest/least memorable. The beach is clean and a great place to dip and relax. We are not ‘resort’ people generally, but all four of us loved this place!!
