JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America

My husband and I stayed at the MOA Marriott to celebrate our 5oth wedding anniversary. Everything was perfection. The entire staff made us feel welcome. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. After our first night they straightened up the room in a delightful way that we’ve never experienced before. In-room dining was promptly delivered by cheerful staff and absolutely delicious. Easy access to the mall and valet parking made for a stress free stay. We would both highly recommend this hotel .

If you're going to MoA, this is where you want to stay, it is SO convenient and the hotel/restaurant are great. I wanted to specifically call out Karen in Room Operations at this JWM. When I discovered, upon check-in, that I mistakenly made our reservation for 2, not 3 nights as I intended, I booked a standard room for our 3rd night as no suites were available for that one night and broke the news to my family after a long car ride...nailed it dad! My wife and I had our young kids along and the suite with bedroom works best, it was a mistake and we would've dealt with it fine for the extra day/night. The next day, before we had to check out and move to the new room I used the app to see if there was any chance of a standard room coming available on the same floor we were currently on to make the move a little more seamless. Karen from Room Operations has entered the chat. She took out her magic wand, flipped her cape back and told me she could accommodate that request if a standard room was our preference to which I told her the story of my mistake. In the hospitality equivalent of a "hold my beer" moment she worked her magic and let us know that she was able to keep us in our current room, the family rejoiced, dad saved some face and Karen gained some fans. It was a small but very meaningful gesture, she could have just as easily accommodated my request for a standard room on the same floor, but that's not Karen. She used her powers for good and I think we can all agree that the world is a better place for it. Thank you, Karen and the whole JWM - MoA staff as everyone was overly (in the best way) friendly and accommodating.

I had an amazing stay at the JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help with anything I needed. The location couldn’t be better — it’s right next to the Mall of America, the biggest mall in the U.S., and just a short drive from the airport. It made shopping, dining, and getting around so easy! The room was spacious and stylish, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxing and luxurious. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Minneapolis!

This hotel is stunning & the staff is so kind! We would highly recommend if you want a great location - near the airport and attached to the Mall of America. Upon checking into the hotel - I met the sweetest staff member. The food and room service was excellent. The hotel was one of the cleanest we have seen since before covid - thank you! The only reason we have to minus a point is due to horrible beds. We are not sure why the beds were so terrible but it made for 3 sleepless nights (and aches). We had fun & long days at the Vikings game and exploring the mall - so a good night sleep was a must. We did notify the staff so they can look into it - switch the mattresses out.

This was a birthday stay and I had flowers ordered that were int he room when we got there along with choc cov strawberries and champagne. The birthday surprise went so smooth. The room was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. We were right there at the mall which was SO convenient for our shopping trips and it's very close to the airport. A great place to stay!

Had a great experience similar to what you’d expect at most JWs. Great service, mostly nice amenities, an executive lounge for Bonvoy members, indoor pool, and the big appeal is that its directly connected to the Mall of America. You can even access the mall from the property w/o going outside. We stayed for my wife’s bday and they were accommodating and left a nice set of chocolates for us which was much appreciated.

The entire experience was amazing. Service and staff were great and super accommodating. Their signature complimentary welcome drink was so good. I have to figure out how to make it. The rooms are spacious and clean. And the proximity to the Mall of America was convenient. Beautiful stay from beginning to end.

We picked the JW Marriott Mall of America for our July 4th weekend trip. The main reason? We wanted to see family in Wisconsin and finally check out the famous Mall of America. The hotel has a super handy entrance right into the mall from the second floor, which was a huge plus—especially since our son had a blast exploring everything.|One thing that really stood out was the fitness center. It had all the equipment you could want—treadmills, stair steppers, free weights—you name it. Everything was clean, and they even had fresh fruit, water, and towels ready to go. It made sticking to a workout routine while traveling way easier.|From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly and helpful. They recognized my loyalty status right away and set us up with a big corner room on the executive floor. That meant we got access to the executive lounge, which was super convenient for grabbing snacks, food, and just chilling out between activities. The lounge was always neat and quiet—a great spot to unwind.|Our room itself was spotless and modern, with plenty of storage and little touches that made it comfy. Even though it was a busy holiday weekend, the hotel never felt crowded. The vibe was always relaxed and peaceful.|All in all, the JW Marriott Mall of America went above and beyond. Between the awesome location, great staff, nice facilities, and those executive floor perks, it was just an easy and enjoyable place to stay—perfect for families or anyone wanting a hassle-free trip. We’re already talking about going back next time!

Customer service is a clear priority here and I couldn't have been more impressed. Every interaction was like we were the only guests there and they wanted to make sure we had the best stay. The hotel itself is in a great location. It's connected to Mall of America and only a short drive from the airport. With how close it is, I was surprised to not hear the planes. The rooms have plenty of space (we had four people in our room) and the bathrooms are large. Plenty of counter space for the four of us on our girls' trip.

My church had a banquet here. The event was well hosted. The food was excellent. The service was great. Parking was very easy to find. They have a valet or they have the nearby ramp. I really appreciated all of the attention to detail and how upscale everything is. If I didn't live in Minnesota, I would definitely stay here overnight.

Well done JW Marriott Mall of America!! This hotel is definitely focused on customer service! From the moment we parked our car in the hotel parking ramp to the front desk and on our way up to the room.We were greeted with smiles and asked "how may we be of help" The mark was set by front desk! Excellent Job Ronald! The culture here has awesome leadership! No one seems fake.The rooms were clean and most importantly they smelled cleaned I wished I had taken better pictures to give an idea of how clean the rooms and the other areas of the hotel is! Very spacious and equipped with coffee,comfortable chairs and plush robes. The Mall of America is easily accessible by the 1st and 2nd floors with secure access on the 2nd floor! Fine dining at Cedar+Stone also!

Very nice hotel that's connected to Mall of America. Looking out our room window we see IKEA & the nearby airport. Luckily we don't hear the planes taking off or landing! The rooms have plenty of space & the bath has a big shower head with plenty of hot water!! Even a side tub if you choose! The AC doesn't go below 66 & we're use to sleeping Their event rooms cater some of the best American foods & the bartenders are great mixologist!! Mmm HH f Modern decor, clean & friendly staff.

Lovely hotel with direct access to Mall of America. Was in a room with a shared adjoining door and that seemed to affect the noise insulation b/c I could hear the family next door quite clearly. I wanted to go to bed at 9:00 PM and they didn't (I don't blame them but they didn't get up at 5:00 am) and I wanted to watch the news on Palestine and Israel at 5:30am. I'm thinking neither of us were happy. Parking is an additional $24/day which just seems silly b/c the lots are big and empty and also it's Minneapolis and a mall. Wi-Fi for the few video calls I had to make was stable.

We purchased drink's from the bar and this was a not so impressive looking margarita. I don't believe the bartender cared what it looked like.

Subpar JW Marriott property, and I am being extremely kind. This property deserves a two and a half star instead of the current rating. I reserved two rooms for days and should have gone elsewhere. Rude host checking in, no welcome greeting, no thank you for being a platinum member, no offering of a beverage, no offer for room upgrade, no mentioning of points or breakfast, no M club access with amenities, valet parking doesn't even walk out to get your keys, dirty towels with hair on them, dirty Q tip on the bedroom floor, and overall dated property. Poor management, lack of customer service, dated property, and lack of cleanliness make this a property to avoid.

Hiqh-end, remarkable, welcoming.... All Adjectives That Describe This Amazing Hotel! First, let me start with the staff: all have been so accommodating & polite, but Sabina has been first rate! She went above & beyond to meet all my needs & wants! Absolutely, I giver her an A+ for friendliness, professionalism, & level of commitment for client happiness! Additionally, I am impressed with the sanitation level, decor, tranquility, robes provided, large/soaking bathtubs, Heaven-like pillows/bed, & luxurious toiletries! Best Part: You don't have to weather the outside elements to meander through this HUMONGOUS mall!

Stayed here many times, before and after Covid. Rooms are cleaned and nice. Attached to the MOA. However they don't value their Platinum Member like the Other JW in the country. They were serving watery battered eggs and muffins that were so hard, felt they have been left in the open for days. I ask the Manager if they would give me a credit for breakfast the next morning so I can get real eggs? I was told no. I guess may 3674 Total Nights at Marriott properties does not hold enough weight to get real eggs. Was booked here for a few more stays in the next coming weeks, changing them as we speak.

Nice hotel. I gave it 4 stars due to location. Food was good but pricey. Customer service was good. The bartender was very nice. Rooms were average, I actually expected more. Views outside were of a parking lot. Would I return? Maybe, but only for location.

This was my second time staying a this JW property. It's a well run and clean property, and I had a positive experience both times. Bonvoy Elite status is recognized and the staff are polite and helpful. The restaurant, Cedar + Stone, is also very good. Right now the lounge is still just grab and go beverages (no food) so elite members with lounge access get a $40 credit per night for Cedar + Stone. It's enough for an appetizer and entree or and entree and dessert. The beverages in the lounge include a nice assortment of premium tea as well as cold (non-alcoholic) bottled beverages. With a room key the mall can be easily accessed on the second floor, right below the food court. Public access is on the first floor through the restaurant. Proximity to the airport is definitely a benefit of this hotel! It's such an easy "in-and-out" hotel that is much nicer than any of the "airport" hotels. This is also an ideal hotel to stay at if you are going to The Offices @ MOA, especially in the winter because you wouldn't have to go outside.

What a fabulous hotel. Exclusive and luxurious this is my go to place to stay when visiting Minneapolis.The staff and service is beyond fantastic. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are super clean and spacious. The hotel is connected to the Mall of America so you can easily access the mall. Definitely a major plus if you are wanting to be in MOA during the stay. One of the best things I liked about the hotel was the elevator access was limited to the guest as you need the key fob to use the elevator this feature always make me feel very secure in a hotel stay. Overall the hotel is gorgeous and the lobby area is beautiful. Love the fireplace. It's located not too far from the MSP airport which is great. Will definitely be coming back.

Always a huge fan of JW Marriott's. The decor is beautiful and the entire hotel is beautiful. The service is spot on and we get treated like royalty every time we visit.

Let me begin by saying that I'm honored and elated to write this worthy review. I had the pleasure of staying at this timeless and immaculate property this past weekend. The service that I received from the point of entry until my departure was above reproach. JuJuan has to be the consummate professional with a vast knowledge of the property and things to do in the surrounding area. His ability to engage with the customers and make them feel like part of the milieu is a work of art. The Cedar & Stone restaurant was very consistent in all areas. The quality of the food and customer service from my waitress Jeanine had me coming back 3 mornings in a row. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich, chicken and waffles, and the breakfast omelette will have you coming back for more. I can't forget about the breakfast parfait. It was fresh and delectable. I would be remissed if I didn't acknowledge the top tier level of customer service demonstrated by Mr. Solomon. This gentleman takes customer service to an all time high and the customers feel his positive energy. A special shout out to the Executive Chef for your expertise and the kindness that you demonstrated. I am truly thankful! The young men in the Executive Lounge are some hard workers. Fatim was very engaging and went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Thank you for that! The room was very clean and spacious. I also appreciate the extra layer of security such as the cameras in the elevators and key access to get to your room. This was my first yet not the last time visiting the JW Marriott at the Mall of America. Hats off to the management of this fine establishment. DO NOT stay here if you are a NURSING MOTHER or require refrigeration of Medical supplies. Hotel rooms fridge only stay cool and shut off every 2 hours. Hotel cannot provide any alternative solution expect coming downstairs EVERY TIME to the restaurant to retrieve items from their freezer or fridge. Guest cannot access restaurant from the hours of 11pm - 6am either!!! I stayed at the Marriott for a work trip and had the worst experience!! I even broke down crying from how much stress my stay was there. It is already stressful enough traveling postpartum and being away from my newborn.I had to store my breastmilk in the hotel restaurant freezer and each time I would have to wait between 5-15 min before a staff would even be willing to help and majority of the staff refused to take the breastmilk to the freezer. It would cause a lot of anxiety due to sanitation of holding the milk out while trying to chase someone down to help. It became a HUGE ordeal every time I had to go to the restaurant. It got a point where only the manager could take the items because so many staff were confused on what to do or refused to take it to the freezer. It is HUGE inconvenience for guest to be constantly required to go downstairs every single time to retrieve items. In addition my medical supplies required constant refrigeration and would have to get up on the middle of the night to reset the fridge EVERY TWO HOURS! New mothers need to pump every 2-3 hours and no one wants to be coming downstairs multiples times at night. I spoke to the manager Colleen and her response was not everyone feels comfortable accepting bodily fluids. If that is the case, more alternative solutions need to be made.

Sometimes life is all about conveniences...and I'm about that life LOL. I've stayed here for business and for fun with family. Nothing like being able to take the elevator down to the second floor and walk into the largest mall in America. They have both gated self parking and valet parking (there is a fee for both). The rooms are clean and pretty roomy. There is a tub or shower available in most rooms which is fun for bubble baths :) Overall They have a fitness center and pool. I like you can grab bottles of complimentary water in the fitness center...in addition there are usually a couple in the room and generally they will offer you a cold bottle at check-in. If you have your own cup/water bottle they also have and ice/water machine in the fitness center. During my most recent visit which was in August 2021, they do offer room service on the weekends---they deliver items in a to-go bag and containers from a limited menu. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

5/5 for the hotel, 4/5 for the restaurant. Needed to travel to Minneapolis for work, and the mall of America was most convenient for my client (as well as me since I've never been). The JW is located attached to the hotel (very convenient) although entryway is a seperate dedicated area. Lobby and hotel is relatively modern, definitely on the newer then older side. Immediately you're at the front desk after some great personal greeting, and the fron desk staff was patient and efficient at checking into the room. Elevators are also just around the corner as well as the restaurant so not a huge hotel / lobby area. Elevators were fine, quickly get to your floor. Rooms are comfortable, well-appointed and spacious. Not much of a view but you're attached to the largest mall in America. Wi-fi was fine, nothing was broken or needed work. The restaurant was decent, a bit empty when I went and understaffed, but server was very friendly. Got the cheese curds and short rib... nothing special on either. Decent, but a bit lacking in flavor and complexity.

Hands down one of the nicer experience's I've had at a hotel. And we have been to quite a few.I love the privacy, the simple yet elegant decor. The bath robs are an added plus. You also get to select a smoking room if you burn incense and such or smoke cigarettes which I don't. We ordered room service to try the restaurant down stairs. The portions are large you would be ok ordering a kid's burger and it would fill you up. The view is great and my wife loved the late check out options. Be visiting again

So we recently stayed at JW at Mall of America for one night-and it was such a nice stay. We usually stay at another hotel-but we decided to try out something new, and we were NOT disappointed. First off-staff was very friendly! We emailed them before arriving asking about early check in and having extra towels in the room. We received a prompt email back giving us all the appropriate information. The check in staff at the front desk was extremely helpful and patient with my two little girls that were exhausted from travel. The hotel was beautiful! Everything was new and clean-bathrooms were some of the best I have seen in a hotel. I loved the separate shower and tub. The bests were very comfortable. And the smart TVs in the rooms were another favorite surprise of mine-as my kids like Netflix and Hulu and we could log right on to our accounts. The pool was beautiful as well! We went twice with our girls and had it totally to ourselves and it was in pristine condition. And people were in cleaning it every hour or so while we were there. I cannot wait to go back and my oldest daughter is already asking to go back. Such an amazing stay. Truly a wonderful hotel. (We didn't eat at the restaurant-so I cannot review food/room service).

Truly enjoyed my stay at this excellent Marriott property. The staff was exceedingly prompt and professional upon my arrival, accommodating a very early check-in (10:00 am) and doing so quickly. I was impressed with the beauty, cleanliness and spaciousness of the lobby and common areas. My double-queen room was similarly clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, separate tub and shower were modern and free of any water damage, individually packaged toiletries, ample computer working area, and electrical outlets easily accessible throughout the room. Everything was perfect. Seriously, I think the only disappointment I have about this stay is that I was only here for one night. If you are staying in Minneapolis and don't need a downtown location then this is your choice--it's a great one.

By far the worst experience. The staff was NOT helpful. My partner's birthday and as Platinum Member they would not honor his benefits. Do not recommend.

Sheets was a size small kept popping off.Bathroom fan didnt work.the light above chair the socket that held the light bulb in is broke.still worked.But not to safe.Stayed on 723 incase you wanna fix it.

If you want to see what a top tier 4 star hotel is like, come here if you can on business or pleasure. You won't be disappointed... except with the competition. I had a business trip to Minnesota and found that this hotel was within range. It's connected to the infamous Mall of America so there are plenty of ways to get to food, bars, or anything without going outside. This was a huge plus because on the days I was here it was -29F windchill and -10F without it. Yeah that isn't a typo. Closest I've ever been to getting legit frostbite. Anyways, the hotel is immaculate from the time you check in, to the rooms, to the huge bathrooms, to the beds, to the lounge if you are a Marriott exclusive member. The bathroom was so awesome that I tried the tub and then the shower at the same time. As for parking, they have valet or self parking which is somewhat expensive if you are not on a business trip. Anyways, this is definitely a hotel I wouldn't mind spending more time at. The food prices are kind of high so try to go to the lounge if you have access. Otherwise there are plenty of options in the mall.

QUICKIE REVIEW Not going to find a hotel more conveniently located to Mall of America (MoA) as it is located inside MoA. PARKING MoA has self-parking and I did see valet for the hotel if you so desired. SERVICE Did not use any. ROOM  Clean and nice.   I love it when a hotel gives me an option of taking a hot bath or shower.  This had that and they were separated.  Sounds silly but sometimes you just want lay there and soak in a bath because you have time, no shower rush. PRICE  $151 a night OTHER THOUGHTS If you are looking to just explore MoA, there is not a more convenient place to stay at than here.

here are some notes from our stay! overall a solid 4 stars, but a few things could be improved upon. pros: - great 12th floor view of ikea and the airport - concierge lounge breakfast was great! we especially loved the croissants, fresh fruit, and mini greek yogurts - lobby and common areas were very nice and clean - concierge lounge staff were all very kind and friendly - great to have direct access to mall with secure keycard access required to use hotel/mall doorway and to activate elevators cons: - some black mold in shower (at bottom) - shower temperature adjusting fixture was not entirely secured to wall - lobby staff were strangely silent. we walked through about 4/5 times and never did anyone say a word to us. some would smile, but it was kind of strange? even while waiting for the elevator less than 3 feet away from staff, never once did they say "hello" or "have a nice day"! not the minnesota nice that we are used to i guess! - wish there was filtered reusable water bottle refill station (had to take 3 mini plastic water bottles from concierge lounge to refill one reusable bottle) overall though - a very nice hotel in an incredible location. perhaps the lobby staff were having an off day, and we were unlucky with the particular shower in our bathroom. other than those small details, it was a lovely stay and we would definitely return.

We checked in on Friday, Immediately there was an issue. After waiting 20 minutes we were told the room wasn't ready and to wait in the bar and have a free drink, After 45 minutes they told us our room was ready, 30 minutes goes by, and we are told by "Beto" that he "screwed up" they did not have a suite for us. For our inconvenience he would offer us a rate of 285.00 per night for the rest of our stay. I also asked him for Friday being free due to the issue. Which he agreed. Our room was to be ready by noon on Saturday. Beto assured me he would take care of it and not to worry. On Saturday afternoon I called at 1pm and was told the room would be ready in 30 minutes. We waited until 5pm, wasting our entire afternoon. On Sunday I spoke to "Brady" a worker at the front desk and asked about our rate, I was told Beto took care of it. On Monday afternoon we were locked out of our room and had to have security let us in. We were told our reservation was again cancelled and they had to rebook us. On Tuesday when we checked out, we were told the bill was for the full rate of 425.00 and nothing was adjusted. I was told again Beto would have to adjust it personally. On Wednesday I received a phone call from Beto telling me he was not adjusting the bill, and that he never said that the rate would be 285.00 that I was mistaken. He lied straight to me on the phone after assuring me he would take care of it. Beto refused to do anything but waive the Friday evening rate. Beto then stated that what he meant by 285.00 a night was for Friday, which is a lie, when confronted with the fact that the rate for a regular room is less then that. He then stated well you misunderstood me. He then blamed Expedia. Expedia told me it's on Beto to credit me. I am insulted, and was lied to, this is horrible customer service. I just want the 285 rate as promised.

Love this hotel! The room was vey nice, clean and open. When we arrived we were given free bottles of water. The hotel is secured with your room key. You use the key for getting in and out of the elevator as well as entering from the mall entrance. Yes. This hotel is connected to mall of America. That was a bonus for us , considering we head our kiddos with us. Overall, I would stay here again.

I hope nobody ever sets this place alight. Otherwise it'll end up in a movie. Maybe the movie will be called Marriotts Of Fire. Enormous and spectacular hotel located right at the Mall of America - so if your holiday is basically coming to the biggest mall in America and spending lots of money and using the theme park, maybe then this would be a good holiday hotel destination for you. Extraordinarily expensive, but you can get some good deals online or with coupons or if you know ways around things. You'll be spoiled if you stay here for sure and it's totally a palace. But I can't help but think that some of those poor homeless people in Minneapolis could use some of these rooms which are so often empty, from what I saw the one time we stayed here (and spent 13 hours in our room and very little of it sleeping) (ohhhh).

Stayed here overnight for an event and it was as fabulous as a hotel stay could get! :) . The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was super comfy! Ben checked us in and out and was so courteous and kind! I highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in the area. It was super easy to access the Mall of America as well when we wanted to take a shopping break! . The bartenders at the event were also amazing and quick! The event set up was fantastic! :)

I figured I would splurge to celebrate some b-days so the bf and I stayed here. It was a gorgeous hotel in every way. From the moment we stepped out of my car, we were greeted and warmly welcomed by the valet and doorman. The check-in process with Elizabeth was simple and she continued to be helpful and kind during our short stay here. The rooms are about the same size as most Marriott rooms but the quality and detail of everything is what made the room stand out. The bed was incredibly soft, TV was huge, the bags of organic tea and the bathrobe were all a nice touch. But the bathroom was what made me fall in love with the hotel. Incredibly clean with an actual bath mat and a separate tub! Water pressure was great and the toiletries were spa-like. And being steps away from the MOA made it just that much better. And although I didn't have the chance to work out at their gym, I was able to scope it out, along with the pool as well. Both were huge and incredibly clean, like the rest of the hotel. While on the pricier side, I wouldn't mind paying the price to stay here again.

What a beautiful hotel. Very clean, fresh, and modern. 4/5 due to having to pay for parking. There are literally thousands of parking spots around the hotel. Why charge extra for the guests? The room is really nice and the bed comfortable. TV's work! Spacious and temp easily controlled. Would have been a perfect 5/5 if not for the parking charge.

Kevin Stafford... Kevin Stafford. Called ahead of time to let them know I travel with my 7 pound dog. At dinner at the hotel our 4 year old needed his inhaler. So we rushed up to the room with 2 room keys assuming we could get him his inhaler. Nope. Kevin Stafford thought it'd be smart to cancel our room keys because he needed to tell us a staffer was frightened and unable to work due to the 7 pound dog. Instead of messaging me on the app where we had frequently messaged or texting or coming over to me at restaurant or leaving a note in room Kevin thought it'd be smart to cancel all our room keys and leave our 4 year old without an inhaler when he needed it. Never thought we'd have something like that happen. Really scary when people power trip. I won't even speak on how Kevin acted after. I'll put it this way he refers to it as "his hotel"... Just sad. Avoid at all costs, many better options.

Fantastic property! New, clean, great location and really hit all the boxes on the small details. Service was outstanding from check in to the Concierge Lounge. They even have a car service which got me to the airport for $25. Great driver. I ordered room service as I had a crazy day with travel delays and changes due to the weather. I got the Turkey Sliders and a Hummus Plate. Hit the spot. I didn't hit the bar but when I arrived at 10:00 there were quite a few people there and a few TV's. Looked like a nice relaxing place to hang out. I would definitely book this property again when I come through MSP.

The JWMarriott Bloomington is beautiful. Very comfortable rooms. The staff is extremely friendly. Ordered food from Cedar + Stone for room service which was delicious. Right now w/ Covid they will bring the food to your room in a bag, so it isn't the full branded experience, but it's still a nice option. You can see the MSP Airport outside the windows, yet you can't hear airplanes or traffic. The bed is extremely soft. Two thumbs up. One recommendation for increasing the experience.....would it be possible to have real cups, plates & utensils delivered w/ the meals vs all disposable? I understand it'd take more work to keep these items washed, but having disposable everything doesn't feel like the JW Experience.

Typical overpriced Marriott. Very nice place but everything costs. They nickel and dime you for internet and everything else. There are a lot of other hotels that are just as nice and provide more. Save your money.

I stayed at the Jw Marriott for a quick business trip This is a very modern and recent hotel The check in was flawless and prompt; the gentleman at the front desk was extremely polite The room was a pleasant surprise ; first of all and that is important for me it was very quiet: despite the proximity of the airport I could not hear anything . No air condition noise or any other issues The furniture was very slick with a beautiful leather chair and a extra large flat screen The bed was the highlight: very comfortable and crisp sheets The bathroom was spacious with a walk in shower and a tub I had a short night but it was very comfortable Unfortunately I could not check the adjoining mall of the America , maybe next time

Business travel - Katie from guest services was wonderful! Hotel was nice but 5 stars has a lot to do with meeting space. The Lounge meeting space is great- cool vibe, not traditional meeting room. Our group loved it!

This hotel is very nice. Check-in was smooth and everyone was very friendly. Hotel parking is underground, which is convenient on a cold, snowy or rainy day. The lobby is beautiful and the furniture in the room is nice too. The pool has a nice bottom to it (just wish it were warmer).

Great service and amenities. Drove from St. Louis with five kids to spend the weekend at the Mall of America. We were promptly met by the concierge who had a smile, chatted with everyone, and helped with the bags. Inside he kept the kids busy by getting maps and coupons while I checked in. Valet was attentive making sure I had everything out of the car. Check in was easy and welcoming, adjoining rooms as requested was honored. The concierge took the extra time to go over where everything was in the hotel and even brought extra water bottles back to the room. Everything was urban high end styling, clean, pool was nice, and having direct yet secure access to the mall was a huge advantage to enjoying our mall experience. I will definitely return.

Probably one of the most convenient, complete hotels I have ever stayed on business. 24 hr gym. Pool. Fantastic rooms. Glass enclosed showers. Flat TV with Internet Access so you can watch your Netflix and Hulu, Pandora accounts, etc on it....and a granite desk, down comforters and comfy beds. Close to MSP, it not only has a lovely bar and restaurant - but it is right next to the Mall of America and all that has to offer in terms of restaurants, bars, shopping, movies, etc. It makes for a great overnight business trip.

Spent one night here en route from DC to Montana. Room was nice and clean, we arrived early in the morning before check in, but a room was available, so we were able to check in early. Great hotel for us!

One of our favorite places to stay. Great rooms location and one of the best pool and gyms in the area. I miss the valet parking also

This comfortable, upscale hotel at the Mall of America is the perfect spot to relax after a long day of Christmas shopping at the nation's largest retail playground. In town for a recent conference, I enjoyed the comfort of a modern, spacious guest room with an oversized bathroom and giant tub. My room had all the amenities one could expect, including complimentary water and wi-fi, and a Keurig coffeemaker. The hotel bar was well stocked with delicious local craft beers, and the fitness room seemed to be sufficiently equipped for anyone who felt the urge to work them off afterward. Best of all, the hotel has a direct entrance to the Mall, allowing guests to shop, eat, drink, play and sleep for DAYS without having to step foot into a Minneapolis winter.

Lovely facility. The nicest people work here. To a person, the staff makes you feel so welcome and valued. Clean room, quiet. Breakfast: yum re the bacon biscuits! Proximity to the mall, especially Nordstrom is outstanding: especially during inclement weather. A quick Uber ride to airport.

I always stay here when I fly to Minneapolis for business. Its close to the airport that you can just uber, it is next to Mall of America, its only 15 mins away from the office I do business with, what more can you ask for. The service and attentiveness of the crew is great. The room is always clean and smells fresh. No bed bugs. I don't like shower and tub combinations either and my room always comes with a separate shower and separate tub. I'm in love with their gym which is open 24 hours. They have all the machines and equipment you need that I worked out two nights in a row. They also have an indoor pool which is not Olympic size but you can get your laps in. The second floor leads directly to the mall which is great. The only set back is their resto Cedar and Stone which is not that great. The breakfast and dinner were only OK. The breakfast selection is not that great and little on the pricey side. I have provided reviews for this resto as well. Anyway will always stay here for business whenever I visit this place. Trust!

Upon checkin I was greeted by several staff members. The front desk had my mobile checkin and thanked me for being and elite member. The room is stunning and clean! I absolutely loved the fitness center. It's a real gym with real equipment!

Seriously one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Not only was the service from the front desk fantastic, but everything was in tip-top shape. The room was immaculate, the view of the Minneapolis skyline was great, the rooms are so well sound proofed that airplanes were literally taking off directly in front of us at MSP airport and we watched them through our window and couldn't hear a THING! Amazing, especially since I usually hate being woken up at 2 am by noisy guests talking in the hallway outside of my room. If you're going to do a special trip to visit the MoA, this is the hotel you want to stay in. It was super convenient for us to be able to relax throughout the day at our hotel room that's directly connected to the mall, because that mall was huuuuge and took all of our energy to walk through the whole thing. The JWMarriott parking deck had ample parking available very close to the elevator (perhaps we came during not a peak time?) and was super convenient. The lobby is beautifully decorated and it's nice that only hotel guests can use the elevators (you have to scan your room key to use it)...overall it was very quiet, just the way we like it. If we are ever in Minneapolis again, we will be sure to stay at this hotel. Thanks to the wonderful staff!

From what I could tell, the lobby looked very nice and the lounge was very nice. They had mid-day cookies, gummy bears, chips, and m&m's. Didn't get a chance to check out the rooms though. Staff were all super friendly.
