JW Marriott Quito

LOVELY PROPERTY! Situated in an excellent and pedestrian area of the city. Very accessible. My room was extraordinary comfortable, and well appointed. Many food and drink options within the property, but also plenty to choose from in walking distance too. All JW staff were multi-lingual and very knowledgeable of the city and tours. I would absolutely choose this property again. (The sushi was not good though in one of the hotel restaurants...but the wine was!).

Beautiful hotel in a central location. Very welcoming staff. Drinks and food at the Kaori restaurant were excellent. Huge arrangements of roses fill the lobby. Breakfast buffet at La Botanica was a wide array of fresh tropical fruits and juices, eggs, breads, waffles, oatmeal etc… everything you would expect at a JW! A lush tropical garden with waterfalls and ponds off the lobby and restaurant. My husband and I had a lovely visit!

Not 5 only because rooms are dated. It’s probably built in the 80s Staff great. Excellent breakfast. Location is not so central. Take a proper taxi into town. Be safe

2 night stay as part of our cruise package. Might be the nicest hotel with the best service we've ever stayed in! Spacious, quiet, and comfortable room. Lobby area was beautiful with fresh roses changed out throughout the day. Service was above and beyond from every staff member. Although we didn't have time, the fitness room was as big as a commercial gym with a fitness instructor on hand (when we went to check it out). Breakfast buffet was huge with a "made to order" station and multiple options of hot & cold items. Can't say enough about this stay, and this would be our FIRST choice of hotels when staying in Quito!

Front desk is close to useless. Confused about check in, did not explain the billing options and unable to deliver the final bill either directly or by emails as promised when checking out. No action in spite of phone calls requesting the bill. I had to get a colleague to go there to collect it. 4.5 stars - no way? Pool was closed but the room rate was the same. The hotel location is close to nothing interesting to see in Quito and at least 45 min from the airport. Traffic is frequently ridiculous. Hotel features including the room rate are overpriced. Food is overpriced and average quality. Room service was inconsistent - they have an ordering app but insist on phoning to verify. Seems like overkill. Do not disturb means nothing. Still knock and ask several times if you want room cleaning, then if you say no - a phone call. A noisy, intrusive and unenjoyable experience. Peace and quiet is not possible. I will look for an alternative next visit. Several hotels close to the airport make more sense both for price and location.

Stayed two nights as part of a pre-cruise air package organised by Silverseas. The door staff and reception were excellent, very welcoming and efficient and the checkin process smooth. We had a deluxe room which was a good size/amenity and view of the Volcano, but being in level three you could hear the noise from the restaurant/disco in the forecourt areas, which thankfully stopped at 10pm. On the upside, we had a window that opened.||On the first evening, we had eaten at lunchtime, so looked for a light meal, the only availability being the lobby bar which wasn’t great, especially with fairly loud music.||On the bright side food wise, there is an excellent cafe in the adjoining shopping arcade and the specialist restaurant, Botanica, offered an excellent Ecuadorian menu, the food was excellent but the service from the kitchen very slow.||Breakfast was an excellent buffet and egg station etc.

I cannot say anything bad about the staff interactions at this hotel, all were excellent. Our room was clean and well appointed. A little dated side but nice. Meals we had at the hotel were very good. The hotel is in a very nice area of City of Quito.

Words can not even describe how spectacular our stay was here at JW Marriott in Quito. We always stay at Marriott and we have traveled all over the world. JW Quito has been one of the best in our list of stays.|From the doorman, to front desk, Lounge (Thank You Francesco)|The every other change of beautiful Rose arrangements are delightful. The daily breakfast has many stations from egg, to cold cuts, bakery, fresh fruits, something for every taste.|My only constructive criticism is:|1) With all that said, having fake green arrangements on the breakfast tables is just so disappointing!!! Why can't we recycle the roses that get changed daily and use one per table or so. Fake centerpieces DOESNOT match the Luxury of this beautiful hotel.|2) The waste baskets in the bathroom has to have no lids or gets swapped with a much bigger one.|Overall we really enjoyed our
