"I'm staying at the JW Marriott Hotel Quito for views I'm told are some of the absolute best of the Ecuadorian capital."

"Housed in a distinctive pyramid-shaped tower on Avenida Orellana, this hotel sits close to UNESCO-listed Old Town and the lively La Mariscal district. The soaring, skylit lobby, part atrium, part greenhouse, sets an unexpectedly tropical tone for a mountain city. Rooms are generous, with expansive windows capturing views of either Quito's sprawl or the snow-capped Cotopaxi volcano. The spa incorporates indigenous wellness traditions, while the landscaped pool offers a quiet reprieve from the capital's energy. Raíces handles Ecuadorian and Latin American cooking with a contemporary touch, and there is quality sushi at Kaori for those wanting a break from regional fare." - Tablet Hotels

This hotel is beautiful, luxurious, and knows the meaning of customer service. We arrived to excellent service and an attentive staff! My travel partner’s bag did not arrive and the staff rushed into action, providing expedited laundry service within two hours. The restaurants served excellent food! Partnering with HX, we arrived after a long day of touring to hot towels and hot chocolate! We recommend this hotel!

The hotel is probably the best place to stay in Quito. Check in was perfect and fast. The room was quite roomy and comfortable in every way and had a huge balcony over-looking the city. The hotel has many dining options including Fago do Chao and Raices. The only negative comment was rain leaked into the room from the balcony during a rainstorm (even with the door closed). ||The hotel has a nice VIP Lounge offering a well-stocked buffet and chef to prepare egg dishes. The hotel has a great bar with live piano music in the early evening. Everything about our stay was comfortable. The staff were very friendly especially the Front Desk and the Bellman Team. The hotel also has many nice shops including a wine store and coffee shop.||I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again when visiting Quito.

Hotel rooms are large and comfortable. Hotel lobby is attractive and has several nice restaurants and bars. Breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide selection. Hotel service is outstanding. We left something in our hotel room and the hotel staff held it safely and then delivered it to us when we returned to Quito. The front desk staff went above and beyond. The only negative is location for tourists. It's about 45 min from the airport and several miles from old town.

Great experience at the JW. Access to the executive lounge was helpful for early morning, and evening snacks after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. There is so much to do on property, we didn't get to experience it all. Location was great for the restaurant options, but a bit further from old town. Highly recommend, it met our and exceeded our expectations.

My two week stay was an absolute pleasure! The full J.W. experience. I don't know if I was given an upgraded room [Lifetime Titanium] but it was large with a great view. Everything from TV to safe to fridge was in perfect working order. The bathroom with marble and tile was very elegant. The Bonvoy Lounge was excellent and the catering staff very accommodating. For me the location was ideal. I walked a lot in the neighboring area and felt very safe. If I return to Quito I'll look no further!

Great hotel, about 50mins from airport.(unless already arranged get cab from airport, cheaper then hotel transport)|We stayed for 4 nights at start of holiday and one night on return to Quito.|Great looking hotel, very spacious, plenty of staff around to help you. Rooms were very large with 2 beds, slepted well ever night|About 5 different restaurants where to eat, breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, again staff very friendly and helpful. |One of the better Marriot hotels I have stayed in.|A nice touch was we enquired about a trip with the reception who told us we could pay the guide direct or if we paid the hotel would be charged a booking fee of 10%|Great stay would certainly recommend

The hotel rooms are fabulous. Alas, the staff are absolutely nasty. They wanted to charge us 25 dollars for every visit to the executive lounge and charge 40 dollars for an extra guest for breakfast. The actual buffet cost was much less than that. I am a Titanium member of Marriott Bonvoy and have never been treated like this at any other Marriott property before.

This is a very nice hotel with top tier staff and restaurant. Breakfast buffet is excellent. However the rooms have zero sound insulation, you can hear everything in the room happening next to you.
