"Housed in a distinctive pyramid-shaped tower on Avenida Orellana, this hotel sits close to UNESCO-listed Old Town and the lively La Mariscal district. The soaring, skylit lobby, part atrium, part greenhouse, sets an unexpectedly tropical tone for a mountain city. Rooms are generous, with expansive windows capturing views of either Quito's sprawl or the snow-capped Cotopaxi volcano. The spa incorporates indigenous wellness traditions, while the landscaped pool offers a quiet reprieve from the capital's energy. Raíces handles Ecuadorian and Latin American cooking with a contemporary touch, and there is quality sushi at Kaori for those wanting a break from regional fare." - Tablet Hotels

My brother and I just concluded a stay at the JW Marriott Quito, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish.|Our journey had us arriving at the hotel at 2:00 AM last Thursday, an hour when you might expect service to be strained. Instead, we were greeted with the most exceptional professionalism and warmth. This incredible first impression set the standard for our entire visit, and that high level of service never wavered, continuing right through our departure today, Sunday, at 11:00 AM.|Every single staff member we encountered was wonderful, from the housekeeping team to the entire front desk staff, who were always efficient and courteous.|However, I must give a special and heartfelt thank you to the members of the Club Lounge team who truly went above and beyond. Sandy Arias, Henry Sarsoza, and Jonathan provided the most attentive and genuine service for my brother and me during breakfast each morning. Noe and Franklin were also incredibly attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. Their collective kindness and commitment to ensuring we had a perfect start to our day were remarkable and deeply appreciated.|Thank you to the entire team for a truly five-star stay. We will most certainly be returning.

From the moment you step out of the car to the time you reach your room, this hotel delivers a true full-service experience. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, making you feel welcome right away. My room was absolutely stunning—comfortable, spacious, and beautifully kept. The hotel lobby is elegant and inviting, and there are plenty of restaurants and amenities on site, so you never run out of options. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Quito!

The best hotel in Quito. Exceptional service all around - kudos to Christhian (sushi lounge), Sandy (VIP lounge) and Noe (bellhop) for going above and beyond to make me feel at home. They have wonderful piano in the lounge every night and I enjoyed the relaxation zone out in the garden. The VIP lounge has a nice view of the city skyline and mountains, an expansive breakfast with eggs made-to-order and green detox juice and wine from 5:30-7:30 every night. Highly recommend!

Arriving at 2am, front desk and bell hop were so welcoming and helped us quickly unpack our car and get our 2yo to bed! Pool was awesome for little kids with various depths and waterfalls. We appreciated the creature comforts and would happily stay again!

Gorgeous hotel! Amazing gym and pool! Rooms are huge. The buffet breakfast was really good too. We were sightseeing all day so didn’t get enough gym or pool time….they can also help you arrange a private driver for sightseeing or an excursion. We used this service to get to the equator monument.

JW Quito is very exquisite. It is a little dated, but very clean and well kept. The hotel is very big. They have a lot of restaurants on site. The staff are amazing and friendly. The rooms are very spacious and some of the rooms have an amazing view. The elite lounge is very nice. They have great breakfast and happy hour food.

The hotel has a beautiful lobby and the staff was very friendly and helpful. At the beginning of our tour we were in a suite, then for the last day on our return to Quito, a regular room that was still very spacious. Amenities were very good as was the food. We could walk from the hotel to the Botanical Gardens easily and the hotel could arrange a taxi for you if needed.
