Oh, K-bar, how I love you! I stumbled into this lovely bar 9 years ago and had been craving a return for all these years. Back in Copenhagen, I went straight to this jewel and was again very impressed with the creativity and quality of the cocktails. Kirsten is an attentive hostess and an artist for the tastebuds. Visited twice this time around and am already planning to bring my friends when I return.

Cocktails were delicious, some of the best we've had!! staff was super nice. also the popcorn they gave us was the most huge portion so that was appreciated:))

Good cocktails and lovely ambiance. Naked jalapeño is recommended.

If you find yourself in Copenhagen, you should absolutely check out K Cocktail Bar! I strongly recommend The Last Rite of Santa Cruz (off menu), a wonderfully spicy twist on the old fashioned with Mezcal and Chili Infused Agave. Arguably the best drink I’ve ever had! Make sure to ask for Morton and Renate, the best bartenders in Europe! Just an amazing staff and the highest vibes!! A must visit!

Loved it. Nice service, great drinks. It was a wednesday evening so only a few people were there, but the place is not too big so make a reservation if you want to make sure.

We were taken here by a regular, who specializes in bar hopping so we were in good hands. The best time to go is on a weekday right after it opens and take a seat in the small room to the side of the bar, where one's voice is not drowned by the music. To be able to carry a conversation without screaming was a welcome change. We felt well taken care of, and spent a whole hour sipping our cocktails and oblivious to the crowds that started to come in midway. We each had 1. So you told me (Calvados, Nixta Corn Liqueur, Jasmine Sparkling tea, etc) 2. Køvenhavner (Lemon Bitters, limoncello, vanilla, etc 3. P.C.Sidecar (That would be a Pear and Cardmon with Cognac, Cointrawy) and that was my favorite. plus a bowl of. truffled popcorn. And more importantly we had a great time. Bars and cocktails are not my thing, but if they were, this would be the place were I would be regular.

Great cocktail drinks, location very central as well as the atmosphere very unique. Very lovely owner as well with huge variety of cocktails and options. Be aware that the cocktails are quite pricey. Paid for 4 cocktails about £60-65 so from my point of view the place is not to get drunk but to sip slowly nice cocktail and have a good chat

Prices are very reasonable and the staff top notch. Not a place for chugging beers. A true cocktail bar!

The owner just happened to be the bartender the evening that I visited. A very attractive gal indeed. Since it was a quiet Monday, we talked shop about politics and family. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. The setup of her bar reminded me of being at a friend's house due to the arrangement and decor of the bar. The olives I nibbled on were amazingly good. I think they were Manzanilla olives if I'm not mistaken. The cocktail I imbibed in was the espresso martini, which was strong & had a twist to it with the bourbon additive. Great spot in the middle of tourist town indeed.

This is an AMAZING cocktail bar! K and her staff are amazing and just super nice and very friendly! If you ever find yourself in Copenhagen, come and check this place out!

Wow. Kirsten (hopefully spelled that correctly) is magic behind the bar! These highly crafted yet simple and DELICIOUS cocktails are nothing I've ever had before. This place was recommended from a server from another restaurant and thank goodness for him! Great vibe on a Saturday night, busy... but great.

I've heard from many people about this bar and they all say good stuff about it..... not me!!! Unless you are fancy-pants, you will not enjoy it either. Once I entered, I though it was a scene from Sex and the City. Everybody so well dressed, like auditioning for some fashion magazine. Then the lights were very strong... it's a bar, not a greenhouse! I found my friends in, sat and took a look at the menu. The price were a bit uplifted, but I was expecting that. But seriously... what's their problem with rum? Only one cocktail with rum... with chilli and coffee!?!?! The rest of the menu is not less complicated. I appreciate a different menu (like Gilt bar), but not doing whatever to be different. Btw... I left without noticing the music! I can't remember if it was to low or people were making a big buzz.

Fantastic cocktails.. Fantastic host (owner) highly recommend this place! Cocktails are beyond expectations., bar snack of popcorn what more can I say? this place :)

Some of the tastiest and most inventive cocktails I have ever enjoyed in my life. Stopped in with my brother right before Christmas and was pleasantly surprised to find the owner behind the bar. She was exceptionally friendly, and helped us pick the perfect cocktails based on our spirit preferences. We had more than one, and she was happy to chat with us about all the ingredients and her inspiration while we sat at the bar. Wonderful surprise and one of my favorite places in Copenhagen!

Such an elegant albeit spendy cocktail bar. This is a great place to start an evening walking tour of the many great bars in the area. Having a strong affection towards SE Asia, I of course had to take a risk on their unique cocktail aptly named the Mekong-ki-tong. It featured the ubiquitous Asian Mekhong Whiskey (which ironically is quite difficult to find outside of Asia) chili, lemongrass, ginger, coriander, kaffir lime and soda all on the rocks. The risk paid off because the drink was well balanced and went down a bit quick. Please note, the drink was creatively garnished with coriander leaves, aka cilantro, so if you are in the minority of poor souls who are adverse to this earthly herb, best to avoid. Otherwise, it's heaven. The bartenders were great, offered water without asking and were very attentive. We had to leave after one drink because there were so many other places nearby to try, but I am looking forward to returning and I hope the creative endeavors here influence others abroad. Cheers!
