This place is straight out of Norman Rockwell with the old-fashioned ceilings the naughty wood pine, outstanding food down home people and just a great place for a Friday night drink and a nice comfort food although the food is underrated it's really good. I highly recommend this place. check it out if you like the local pub type spot.

So this place is cool. The bouncer is a cool person. However there are power drinkers in this place. If you are into that kinda shit great but if your not for the love of God stay away from this place. Me personally will not go hear again. I'm nobody but I have 15 friends that own bars. Lmao

I enjoy going to Sea Cliff once in awhile and I ALWAYS come here. Apparently there are other restaurants in Sea Cliff but they don’t have that local vibe. I recently got the mahi mahi wrap and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. The crab cakes are made fresh and are equally awesome!

Unless you're part of the boys' club, expect cold service and a colder atmosphere. Staff seem more interested in socializing than actually running a business. Also… cash only? In 2025? Feels shady, not charming. Won’t be back.

THIS PLACE SUCKS!!! This place will knowingly serve alcohol to minors simply because of who they are associated with but when me (a Hispanic woman) and my husband (a black man, both of age) tried to order were refused service. Never going back and I suggest you don’t either.

Food was horrible. I actually felt physically ill after eating there. The clientele also is sketchy at best. White collar types, but drink too much and are very loud with their opinions. Def not a fan

It's Saturday afternoon, my wife and I were in the Glen Head and Sea Cliff area. We decided to have a light lunch locally. My wife had been to Gallagher's Pub in Sea Cliff the previous night with her girlfriends and thought they had great food. We walked in to a quaint Irish pub and were greeted by Marcus. He smiled and remembered my wife from the night before. We sat down and viewed the menu. Nice selection of food and drinks. We ordered some drinks. My wife had a soda and I had Smithwick beer. A good Irish ale. We decided on the French onion soup. It was served hot and was delicious! We ate and talked and some of our friends came in and visited with them. Good times. My wife was full after the soup , so she ordered some French fries. I ordered a buffalo chicken burger with onion rings. I thought I try something different the chicken burger was great and the onion rings were perfect. We enjoy our meal and visiting with our friends. Marcus gave us a tray for our leftover with a note on the cover. See the photos. It seems Marcus adds a special note to his customers. This was a nice and unexpected surprise. We enjoyed our time at Gallagher's. The wait service was excellent, the food was great and the atmosphere was friendly. I strongly recommend Gallagher's Pub. If you're in Sea Cliff on the north shore of Long Island stop by Gallagher's for a drink and some great food. Travel safe and keep healthy. All the best to you all.

Recently I and my cousin stopped over to Sea Cliff to a store that takes and sell old vinyl records, after looking around we saw this K C Gallagher's pub right across and we went in for lunch.This is a quaint place and has a lively bar and some tables.The server was very nice.The food was good, I had some Chili and a Turkey Sandwich, My Cousin had Wings.We we're looking at College Football and the server game me a remote for my team.This place is a neighborhood pub that all of everybody in the town knows. If you are in the area of SC stop over.The staff are very warm. G

Stay away , the establishment is facing significant issues that impact both the customer experience and possibly the safety of patrons. such as poor hygiene in the men's room and an unpleasant odor from the server, is a lack of attention to cleanliness and staff training. This is a major turn-off for customers and indicate deeper management issues. Additionally, serving warm beer and dealing with flies can make the atmosphere uncomfortable and unappealing. These are basic areas that should be addressed to improve the overall dining experience. local concerns, such as being known as a drug den with frequent police activity, is very troubling. The establishment is not only be poorly managed but also potentially unsafe. Bringing in an expert like John Taffer from "Bar Rescue" could indeed provide the necessary guidance and overhaul to turn things around. However, until significant improvements are made, it might be wise to explore other dining options in the area that prioritize cleanliness, quality service, and a safe environment.

It's a friendly little place. Server was nice but service was just average. The food was decent, not great. Not may tables so if it's busy, you're SOL. Stairs out front may be treacherous in inclement weather. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there but would certainly stop by if I were in the neighborhood. The beer was just the right temp and was very refreshing.

To my surprise, their steak sandwich was fairly good! The store is almost too unpretentious lol and yes service is sad:))) Better to remind yourself "be focusing"...

When I lived in Sea Cliff, for 10 years, KC Gallagher's was one of our local go-tos. This tiny local bar/restaurant had the best food....especially the burgers!!!! Fast forward to yesterday, when I was nearly and decided to pay it a visit. Boy, am I glad I did!!!! The bacon, cheddar-cheeseburger deluxe was as DEEELISHas I remembered it!!!! I'll definitely be going back!!!!

Stopped for a quick dinner and we were greeted by Marcus. He set up a table and made us feel welcomed. We ordered our drinks and some Buffalo wings to start while we decided what else to order. Decided on a turkey dinner and a turkey club. The wings were great. Crispy and just the right amount of hot. Both turkey orders were delicious! The crowd was mostly college aged but don't let that stop you! It's a fun place to visit and the food is top shelf bar food! Thanks Marcus for being such a great host!

This was the worst experience in recent memory. Kitchen probably as dirty as their fry fat. The whole experience just awful. Waiter inept. Obvious they they don't care though.

The "shepherd's pie" was to DIE for... my son Jimmy had the "mushroom burger" which he VERY MUCH ENJOYED. My daughter Alice had the "hot turkey dinner" which she proclaimed was "A WINNER".... LOL. My husband joe had the "chef's salad" (my suggestion..... LOL) and he said it was the best salad he's ever had! I told him I wouldn't write here that it was the ONLY salad he's ever had ;-) LOL !!! We will definitely be coming back here!!!!

I'm very conflicted about this place. The people were nice... I guess if your a local it a good place to hang out. It's so small we almost passed it by ...you walk up steps to the door which is like an actual house door...aluminum on the bottom glass on to, then you open the wood "front" door. You walk right into a small cramped bar. There were not many seats and they were all occupied so we waited to be seated and someone at the bar said to sit anywhere. In a few moments the bartender, who was very nice, came to take our drink order and gave us a dollar tree clip board with the hand written specials scribbled on a piece of paper. The specials really didn't do anything to add to the limited menu. I had the Caesar Salad my boyfriend had a mushroom burger with fries. Both were good typical bar food nothing to rave about. The decor of the dining area leaves a lot to be desired. A small curtain with shamrocks divides the dinning area from the bar. The curtain looks like it hadn't been washed in years. There were windows that look out to the street but they were also covered by curtains giving the small area an even more closed in feeling. Christopher took over as our waiter and he was very friendly and attentive to us. As I said I'm conflicted because it's a nice enough place but don't think I would recommend it to anyone.

Great local bar! Cheap drinks, great wings, fun people. Whenever I'm down from RI it's a must do... Must ask about the infamous "twins"

We were in Seacliff shopping and we were looking for a place that had great wings. We stumbled upon this restaurant/bar and boy are we happy that we did. The wings were amazing. The service was amazing. The ambience was amazing. Such a welcoming and friendly place. The bloody Mary was amazing too. Did I mention that they were amazing? Highest recommendation. Please don't flock to this place because then we won't be able to get a table lol. Excellent way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Staple of sea cliff, good for any meal of the day. Chicken fingers and Chile are my favorite. The burger is also solid. They always have good specials that change everyday. Walk to other bars, plenty of street parking, seasonal beers and food.

Local dive bar. Gallagher's has been around a long, long time. The place shows its age in general but it is usually a load of fun in there. The bartenders are awesome and the crowd is a hoot. They have food and for the most part it is good if basic. Prices for food are average for what you get. Parking is on the street.

We came here by accident after we had to moor in Glen Cove Harbor. We asked for a cool place to get some food and drinks. Somewhere to have a good time. KC's was the place. This is a super bar / pub. Just don't expect fancy, or 'yachty'. Great vibe. Mix of people, all seemed to be having a good time and without the slightest hint of anything unsavory. We chatted to lots of folks. The food came in giant volumes. The wings were good. The burgers defeated all of us. Oh and we ended up dancing. Worth visiting.

The foods good pub fare but this places' strongest feature is just being a mom and pop old school small town dive bar.

Wanted quick burgers for dinner tonight, should of chosen elsewhere. Burgers were cooked well done (asked for medium), chicken fingers were over cooked too. Was last chance for this place for us.

We are looking to move to Sea Cliff, so we came out last night to "mingle." After having a totally negative service experience at a restaurant/bar down the block, we hoped to leave the night on a positive note and came here for some drinks. Sal, the bartender was so nice to us, smiled and said hello as soon as we sat down and we had drinks right away! He spoke with us about the area, was very kind and we will definitely be coming back!! Wish we had come here for dinner as well, next time we know better!!!

Nice neighborhood bar. Nice bar food. Garlic chicken wings are to die for. Friendly bartenders. Some of the staff and the local customers curse too much at times. Although it's a bar it still is a business. Being professional and friendly can go hand in hand. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

One of my favorite places to frequent while I lived here. The daily menu is typical bar food, burgers, wings, fries, sandwiches, fish and chips, etc. . .all very good and homemade and under 10 dollars. They also have daily specials which are pricier (around 20 dollars) but always VERY good (at least the ones I had). So you can go here and get a cheap typical meal or a nice meal and leave satisfied either way. Kind of nice when you can't decide on something with whomever you are with. Also the crowd is very good. It is a local bar and most of the people seem to know each other, so I sometimes felt a little like an outsider. However, I never had a problem finding nice conversation, the bartenders are all very nice and it was one of my favorite places to go out and catch a game. The draw backs are that sometimes the service can be spotty when they get busy (they seem to get overwhelmed easily) and that they do not take credit cards, so come prepared with cash.

Ahhh Gallagher's. To know you, is to love you. Cranky waitress, paper plates, slightly warm beer. Love it. Weird right? I know.

Small little place with great food. Check out their specials menu for awesome dishes such as blackened shrimp and fried Mac and cheese. Their french onion is insane and you really can't beat the fries. A little noisy especially on the weekends but it IS a pub. I come here often and I'd definitely reccommend.

KC Gallaghers has been the local watering hole in Sea Cliff for about 30 years. My husband has been going there for about 20 years. If you stick to your bar food basics you will be very happy...cheeseburgers, wings, Mac and cheese...all excellent! Cash only establishment although the there's an ATM on site. Good bartenders. If you're a fan of local dive bars then this is the place to go. Also serves a great Sunday brunch.

Let me start off by saying what an awesome experience we had. It is a dive bar with friendly staff and great food! Their bacon cheeseburger rivaled some of the more prominent establishments or franchises that we have been to that claim to have the "best burger". They don't need to claim anything because they OWN that title!! The buffalo wings were really good as well and were served with a horse radish sauce versus the usual blue cheese dressing and it was a winner!!. We are exploring the north shore of Long Island to relocate and stumbled upon Sea Cliff. An awesome town with a lot to see, and we definitely have found a great place to come to regularly! Went there for brunch. The staff was friendly and we started out with a good Bloody Mary. The food was not good. Poached eggs had to be sent back and the hash seemed undercooked. One person at the table did not touch the food. Too bad as it's a friendly local bar but the food is subpar.

Great place to hang out but was unimpressed.with the bbq base buffalo chicken wings too sweet and the supposedly freshly made crab cakes were deep fried frozen cakes because one was still cold in the center. Sauted would have been better and refrigerated not frozen...

Great service. The owner is friendly and attentive. The roast beef sandwich is so delicious. They make it in house and it's a must try!

Delicious!!!! The food was great. I was craving boneless wings. It wasn't on the menu but they threw some buffalo sauce on chicken tenders and they were amazing... should totally be added to the menu :) we also got regular wings and the bull burgers. Completely satisfied and will be returning!

Yes, this is a local dive bar - but the food here is first class! It's a must go to place for Sunday brunch with the best Bloody Mary's and Eggs Benedict in town! Great watering hole with friendly people and great service - and buy backs!

Can't beat this place for small town USA!! Excellent soups and salads, excellent steaks, crab cakes, mashed potatoes!!! Atmosphere-it's Sea Cliff. Wonderful home town bar and restaurant. Well worth the visit and stay. Make a friend at the bar!! Come back! It's a hidden vacation hide away on the north shore of Long Island!!!
