Honestly just THE BEST SERVICE! Always helpful, friendly and best of all, I couldn’t find parking to pick up a board bag, John ran out with the board cover and card payment machine and it was the perfect solution. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Great selection of surf goods with excellent staff. The guy was very helpful and kind. In Cape Town it wasn’t easy to find a high performance rental/ hire board until I found KISS. I got set up with a Channel Islands Fever and was stoked.

Ordered a PYZEL Ghost a few weeks before arrival in CPT. Rocked up to the K.I.S.S. Shop in Cape Town, no dramas, there’s my freshie waiting for me on the new board rack! Worked out so well for me! I definitely recommend ordering from Frank & Volker. Departed Hawai’i flying 31 hrs (w/Long Layovers) w/no concerns about lugging boards 1/2 way round the world - flying on 3 airlines (that don’t give a crap when your board arrives or in what condition - and charge us $$$ for that privilege). Do yourself a favor and order boards from Frank @ Keep It Simple Surf Cape Town. * they will deliver also!

Great vibe in this shop! Stopped in on a whim while exploring in the area, and came away with a great shirt. The owners are super friendly and fun to chat with, and even shared some local restaurant recommendations. Well worth a visit and your patronage.

I don't do Google reviews much but just had to write this. Best surf shop in Cape Town by far! Been to various other shops and this is the go to place. The owner Volker and all his staff are just amazing. They're very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, hands on, patient, I can write more compliments so let's go with excellent in all areas. KISS also stock all the latest and best gear with various products surfing or surf related. I bought the Smoothstar Filipe Toledo #77 surfskate and still loving it, so grateful for they're assistance in the puchase. Going back to get my old surfboard repaired. Thus KISS is a one stop shop as they cover all services and maintenance of your gear as well. This type of experience is so rare these days, pop in at they're shop to see what I mean. Highly recommend!:)
