Amazing views over Kyoto city during the evening. Arrived 2 hours in advance for the sunset and still had to queue for a short while, but the first in the line. Would recommend arriving very early if you want to stay for sunset views. Only had cocktails (¥1000 each) which were still decent along with cover charge (¥1100 per person).

We loved it! It was just what we were looking for and even though we had no reservation and they said we have to wait for an hour after sunset, we were quickly on a table drinking! Good cocktails, friendly staff, pleasant chill music, atmosphere and view were grand! They had good food options too but we didn’t try them on this occasion. Definitely recommend!!

Stunning rooftop bar in Gion! This bar ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The weather was perfect and the views of Sannenzaka are unmatched. We got several rounds of drinks because we didn’t want to leave. The menu had a wide range of cocktails. There was a cover charge but it goes towards the cost of your drinks. A similar rooftop bar in America would be much more expensive so I thought the drinks were reasonably priced for the view! We got there 2 hours before sunset and there was no wait for a party of 6 on a Friday night. When it got closer to sunset there was a long line, so I recommended going early and waiting at your table until sunset if you want to see it!

One of our favorite experiences in Kyoto- our friend told us about this rooftop bar we had to go to and it did not disappoint! The views here were incredible, drinks were great and they gave us free nuts to snack on. We had the sunset mojito, peppermint tea, and a margarita.

Perfect place to hang out if the weather is nice. Close to Kiyomizu-dera temple. In the Seiryu Hotel and the pin location is slightly misleading but find that hotel and you’ll be right :-)

We just got a couple of drinks which were decent. Be aware that there is a ¥1100 cover charge per person in addition to 10% service charge and 10% tax. So two drinks cost us $35 which is a bit ridiculous. However, the view of the sunset was amazing, so it was worth it, but barely.

Went here on a warm, sunny day and it was a good idea to cool off. The hotel service is spectacular, was expecting the restaurant matches that. Food choices and cocktail choices were okay, nothing worth coming back for. The view however is what you go here for. Extremely crowded to see the Pagoda on the ground so this is your only chance to see it minus the crowd. There is a cover charge per person on top of the food and drinks you purchase, do not be shocked when the bill comes.
