Google
The food was delicious and full of flavor. We ordered the spicy edamame, shrimp and pork dumplings, chicken pad thai at spice level 3 (it wasn’t very spicy, so I’d recommend going higher if you like heat), adding hot sauce made it 10x better. We also tried the traditional chicken fried rice, and finished with the mango sticky rice topped with vanilla ice cream. Everything was amazing, and the dessert alone was worth the visit. The customer service was friendly and attentive, and we never felt rushed.

Google
What a wonderful place for Thai food. I have seen some of the reviews regarding the lack of service, and the food being bland. I will say my experience was absolutely amazing, I have no complaints whatsoever. The service was very attentive, and the food portion sizes could easily serve two people. Beef and onions- came with a side of rice and was seasoned just right. Shrimp Crevice- I could literally just come for this dish alone and be totally satisfied. The whole dish was fresh and the flavor was amazing. Spring rolls- (fried) delicious and was not greasy Chai manhattan- delicious

Google
Really good Thai food! Nice, clean and are very attentive. Park next to it for the kiddos to play after eating. Would definitely go back

Google
Very good experience with service and food! We went mid day on a Monday, walked right in. There is a general parking lot a short walk away. Food was delicious and good amount for the prices. Desert was good as well we got coconut ice cream and rice, would go back and recommend to check it out! Service was attentive and friendly even with multiple kids in our party.

Google
We had a great experience at Ka Thai. Our service was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Ambiance inside was nice but casual. We started off with the steamed Thai dumplings which had a great flavor profile and were of a good size. We then got the chicken pad Thai and black pepper beef. Both entrees were excellent but next time I’d get a higher spice level on the pad Thai for added flavor as it was a bit bland with the more mild option. Overall, I would come back here and try more options on the menu. Note- they validate parking

Google
One the best Thai Flavors in town! Seriously. We went there with friends and we enjoy a lot. Their happy hour is very good. And the service it was great, we have very good experience. Their Crab fried rice was memorable!

Google
Here's the deal. This restaurant was great. Great food, great with kids, great atmosphere, great location, and very walkable. BUT! If you park here? The parking authority is RUTHLESS! We parked, juggled two small children into the restaurant, making sure they don't get run over, and thought we could relax once in the restaurant. Turns out you have to pay for parking before the meal, and there must be some AI or something checking because we weren't sitting for even an hour (Again, the restaurant has great service) and we got a ticket. We also weren't the only ones, there were multiple cars with tickets when we left. No parking validation. No forgiveness either. So my meal ended up costing twice as much as I thought. Sorry Ka Thai. You were all great and the food was excellent. Maybe we'll order uber eats from here in the future. But I learned my lesson trying to park here and I hope you and the other tenents reconsider if the parking company you all pay for, is money well spent when they're hounding a family with 2 little kids to pay an extra $100.

Google
Us 4 were seated out in the patio during a very busy Saturday dinner. Street view was entertaining with cars blocking railway and firetruck! Entrees are good. The fish (in both the house special and the appetizer) was especially tender and moist. Regarding services: They did mix up our curry spiciness level. Sticky rice mango is very disappointing, in both quality and quantity. The 9 cubes of mango tasted good, but the rice seemed drenched in syrup. We got that dessert to-go and the whole dish fit inside a small paper box.

Yelp
The accidental finds are always the sweetest. Ka Thai is one of those happy coincidences. I was on my way downtown and detoured through uptown to catch a taco at a place recomended by my California friend John D. After parking and walking to my destination Ka Thai caught my eye. A quick spin on the Yelp-O-Meter indicated a causiously strong,Go! So I did. My reward? The best Papaya Salad I've ever had. I mean over the top outta the park, fresh, crunchy,flavorful... We caught them 10 minutes before happy hour ended so, scoring some crunchy vegetable spring rolls and two flask of warm sake cheap was pure bonus. In the past my go to Thai has been Noodle Wave and Asian Mint. However,I'm so impressed with the food, service, prices and atmosphere at Ka Thai,I think they may be my new go to. Especially with 3 locations. Go!

Yelp
Ambiance is cute, but the food choices are better at more local spots nearby. overall the service was great and rhe managers was very kind checking on tables etc. We sat inside and the interior really is well thought out Bobo eclectic and a fun chill vibe. Parking though sucks: on the website is says: Parking is in the Cortland M-line Apartment Garage at Bowen St & McKinney Ave We found that to be a disaster and finally found a spot but it wasn't just easy breezy. We got the Thai dumplings and crab avocado as an appetizer for the table of 4. Someone got glass noodle salad and it was presented beautifully. I had pineapple curry and was expecting a little more heat but it was overall very tasty and a good blend of flavors overall Also ordered was pad kee Maw and the Good-Guda. Everything was plated nicely and again the team working was amazing. Dessert offerings look good on the menu but we didn't try any. Nice spot but its busy on the weekends and late Thursday night when we went and parking was...a problem.

Yelp
Kai Thai for the WIN. The food was amazing, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. I also love that Happy Hour is offered on Saturdays from 3-6 PM and all day Sunday(major bonus). We started with the Heaven Beef (Thai-style beef jerky with Jaew dipping sauce), and it was soooo good I completely forgot to take a photo ‍. That alone tells you something. For mains, I had the Traditional Thai Fried Rice with Chicken (spice level 3). Jasmine rice with egg, onions, tomatoes, and scallions and I must say ....the spices were spicing, the chicken was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We also tried the Pad See Eew with chicken (spice level 2). Wide rice noodles stir-fried with broccoli, carrots, and egg. So fresh, comforting, and very authentic. My only knock: our waitress wasn't very knowledgeable about the menu and wasn't very attentive(possibly new). That said, the food more than made up for it. I'll most definitely be back. Kai Thai is Flavorchaser Approved

Yelp
Such a SOLID thai spot. We had no complaints with anything we ordered. The standouts were the roti canai appetizer and pad thai. The roti canai was SOO flavourful my only suggestion would be MORE ROTI to soak up all the delicious curry!! I am SO picky about pad thai but if you love saucy and sweet, this is it- the spice level helps bring down the sweetness a bit too. Cute interior that is well lit but not abrasive. Service was great and no reservations needed on a weeknight which is great. Would come back for sure

Yelp
Solid thai food, nothing blew me away but everything was tasty. Wait staff were nice and plenty of good menu options

Yelp
This place was delicious. Came on a Friday night and there was no wait time and food came out quickly. Had the Thai fried rice and it was delicious! Nice and airy space. Will be back.

Yelp
Grabbed Thai food at this place before a concert at Fair Park Music Hall and it was fantastic. Started off with the crunchy spring roll appetizers which were great. I ordered the drunken noodles with beef, spice level 2 for my entree. I judge every Thai restaurant by their drunken noodles and these ranked up there very high. Spice level was perfect, veggies and beef were fresh and cooked just right, and portion sizes were perfect. Our server was attentive and took great care of us. If you're in Uptown and have a need for Thai, this is your go to spot.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Thai places in Dallas. I usually order online but decided to come in today. I sat at the bar and the bartenders were extremely nice. I will visit again!

Yelp
Tried dinner during the weekend after hearing some great things about this place. They validate parking in the apartment garage in the same building. Super convenient and easy- just make sure not to park in any reserved spots. For the food, we tried to crab avocado spring rolls, which were unique and delicious! Would recommend trying them! For my entree, I got the chicken pad see ew, which was filling and had lots of chicken and vegetables. I finished about half of the dish. For dessert, I split the sweet mango sticky rice, which was really good! They cut up the mango into small pieces, which makes it easy to share and eat. The inside is very beautiful, calm, and elegant. Bathrooms are very clean too. Our server was fantastic, as was the hostess. Really enjoyed the warm and friendly atmosphere the staff creates for guests.

Yelp
Food was great!! We had an appetizer and two entrees - all were delicious. We visited on a Thursday evening, and even though they were busy, we (party of 2) were sat pretty quickly! Service was a little slow at first, but very friendly and once ordered our food arrived in not long at all. Great atmosphere, and we are looking forward to our next visit!

Yelp
Found Ka on Yelp for a business dinner and was very excited. Firstly , the service is very Thai minded - great in every sense. This is only surpassed by the food itself. Super fresh and tasty . We ordered the chicken Pad Thai and the friend rice as well as a seaweed salad . Truly delicious!!

Yelp
Fantastic Thai food--Ka Thai is a must-visit! Ambiance & Service: Modern, trendy interior with plenty of seating. Check their website for garage parking details. Service is quick, friendly, and efficient! Food: - Crispy Spring Rolls: Perfectly crispy, packed with veggies, and paired with a delicious sweet sauce. - Thai Basil Fried Rice: Savory, spicy, and uniquely fried to stay soft. A must-try! - Pad Thai: Sweet, nutty, and perfectly balanced. Fantastic! TL;DR: Great ambiance, excellent service, and amazing Thai food. Don't miss the Thai Basil Fried Rice!

Yelp
Had a taste for Thai last night and Ka Thai came through! I've been doing takeout and delivery from here, and this time ordered through Instacart (which uses Uber Eats). The delivery was estimated at 30 minutes, but took over an hour (for a place less than 10 minutes away), but that's on the service...not the restaurant. Thankfully, the food was wrapped up perfectly and still very warm when it arrived. So, I was pleasantly surprised and grateful for that "win"! We had the green curry, black pepper beef, and traditional Thai fried rice...all super tasty and super flavorful. I was especially impressed by how fresh everything still tasted. Next time, I'll skip the middleman and try dining in. Looking forward to the full experience. Happy Eating!

Yelp
Found this yummy Thai Place in a cute shopping area in Midtown, Walnut Hill Lane. Everything was delicious! We look forward to visiting again! Thank you!

Yelp
This restaurant is AMAZING! I love the ambiance. It's such a nice lunch or dinner spot. I ordered the garlic chili edamame and Cajun Fried Rice with sub-Chicken at a spice level 2. They always deliver! The food is always so hot, and the customer service is always so friendly. They have a very attentive wait staff. I always enjoy my experience every time I visit.

Yelp
Great food at a great price. I love the dumplings! The pad Thai was also delicious. I will definitely order from aka Thai again.

Yelp
Not sure what all of the hype is about this place. My office colleagues love it and to me it is just BLAH. The food is blah, the service is blah...I will say it is clean and well appointed. I have ordered their veggie dishes and they seem to be something I could make from a bag of frozen veggies for $2 vs their $12 ticket. Skip it. HARD PASS!
google avatar

Yelp
Great service, and good was very delicious, came out hot and tasty. Enjoyed the dishes and some yummy drinks plus dessert. A great find for a nice dinner in uptown!

Yelp
Searching for a new place to try and stumbled upon this place. The location was in the corner of kind of a strip mall. Once you enter, the restaurant was very well decorated and had a nice ambiance. It was a Sunday around 1 pm and they were able to seat us immediately. Sundays are also happy hour for some of the appetizers. We tried many appetizers and also food to eat. Everything was really flavorful. And if I lived in the area I'd definitely be going back. It was a hidden gem

Yelp
OMG! I love this place!! The vibe sitting on the patio is so chill, the service is good, and the food is the best part! We loved everything we tried. It was packed and now I see why.    My ratings are:  Thai Tea - 10/10 Chicken Wings - 9/10 Traditional Thai Fried Rice w/ Shrimp - 9/10 Pad Kee Maw w/ Beef - 10/10   I was stuffed so I didn't get to try desert, but I am looking forward to trying more of their menu.

Yelp
This is my daughter's and my go to place for Thai food takeout in the Uptown area. We usually get the curry chicken fried rice and Tom Ka Gai soup. Both are always delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant was approved by Nara Smith, so I decided to check it out. I ordered a Pad Kee Maw (wide rice noodles stir fried with chicken, egg, basil, onion, bell pepper, and jalapeños) with a spice level of 4 over the phone. This dish is what I usually get at Thai restaurants, and it was as good as I was expecting. It wasn't very spicy so I would get a spice level of 5 or ask for a side of peppers next time, but it did build a bit with each bite. There is validated parking in the Cortland M-line Apartment Garage at Bowen St & McKinney Ave, although they said not to worry about it since I was there for under 10 minutes. I appreciate how there's a window next to the entrance from the garage specifically designated for to-go orders. My food was ready upon my arrival packed in a paper bag with napkins and utensils, so the entire process was very smooth. The interior was decorated nicely; I can see myself coming back for another meal!
google avatar

Yelp
A modern Thai restaurant with attentive customer service combining traditional Thai food with a contemporary restaurant design. Upon entering the front, you're warmly greeted by the host. If you park in the garage (2 hour free parking is validated by the restaurant), you enter through a seating area to wait for to-go or pick-orders. Soft, ambient lighting creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Tables are well-spaced to allow for privacy and comfort, with comfortable seating that encourages guests to relax and enjoy their meal. The staff is exceptionally attentive, keeping drinks full and ensuring your satisfaction throughout the entire dining experience. They're knowledgeable about the menu, ready to offer recommendations based on your preferences, and can provide detailed descriptions of dishes, including ingredients and spice levels. The yellow curry (spice level 1) and bearable stir fry with beef (spice level 2) were both served with white rice and bursting with mouth watering flavor. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between efficiency and warmth, ensuring that every guest feels like they've received personalized attention.

Yelp
This restaurant is a well-known spot here in Dallas and honestly one of the best that Dallas has to offer! Coming from Vegas I had a spot that I would frequent and I have been on the hunt to finding something that is similar as far as ambience, service and most importantly their food. Just like the spot that I loved Katai checks off all of those boxes as every item that I tried on the menu was delicious! Parking is best done in the garage. Make sure to get it validated as it can get pretty busy.

Yelp
This was my first time dining in (I usually do takeout), and I'm so glad I did. The ambiance is light, fresh, and welcoming. Especially on a nice day when you can snag a seat on their cozy little patio. It's perfect for people-watching while enjoying your meal. Service was top-notch. The staff was warm, attentive, and on it! My water never made it past the halfway mark without a refill. The food? Always a hit. I ordered the Pad See Eew, and while they were out of the traditional flat noodles and swapped in Pad Thai noodles instead, the flavor still delivered. Savory, balanced, and satisfying. One note: if you're a fellow spice lover, just know their heat scale runs a little mild. I ordered a 4 and it felt closer to a 3, so bump it up if you're chasing that kick.

Yelp
First went to Ka Thai on a food tour. We like the food so much that we went back for lunch a few days later. Food was amazing! We asked for recommendations and the staff answered all our questions. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very tranquil and calming.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was fantastic and came out quick! I particularly liked the curry, ad the pad Thai was pretty standard. The vibe of the restaurant was fantastic. I've found it hard to find an upscale Thai place, and this did the trick. One note: If you're parking in the garage you can register your car at the front and not pay for parking like I did! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of our server. She was very curt and not friendly. Additionally I'd asked a question about the plum wine and she said it was good so I tried it at her recommendation. I took one sip and it tasted like children's grape medicine so I asked if I could get a different drink, but was surprised that the plum wine was still on my check when I went to pay. I would have expected to pay for the wine if she'd left the glass on the table and just brought over the second drink, but she took my wine and brought out the new glass of wine I ordered. Other than being a little disappointed by the unfriendliness of our server, we had a great meal.

Yelp
They were pretty packed and busy, but we really enjoyed the experience overall. You can easily park in the parking garage that's behind Mi Cocina, you can scan the QR code in the restaurant and enter your license plate number and they validate your parking for two hours which is nice. The food itself was really tasty- we got the fried Thai dumplings (which unfortunately I didn't photograph) and they were very flavorful. I got the pad see eew noodles with chicken and they were seasoned just right, with the perfect level of spice (you choose whatever level you want). The service was pretty quick too, even with the business of the restaurant. I'd like to come back during the spring or fall and sit on the patio because it seemed really nice !
google avatar

Ivy N.

Yelp
We went to check this place out after seeing all the tiktok hype. Both the dishes were good but nothing super crazy. The flavors were present and it wasn't too spicy. The service was attentive and inside was very classy and cute. The atmosphere was dimly lit and would be nice for a date night spot.

Yelp
One of the best Thai places in Dallas! I always get the pad kee mao at Thai places and this one here was very flavorful with lots of chicken! The summer roll appetizer was okay, however. Food portions are fairly large for the price. The ambiance is very modern and clean.

Yelp
Ka Thai is a must visit! The food is delicious and always comes out super fast. The service is great and i love the ambiance here. Super welcoming and nice.

Yelp
Ordered for pick-up: 1 order of Pad See Ew with beef, 1 order of Cashew Chicken, 1 order of Tom Kha soup with chicken, and a side of brown rice. Not sure if it was the smaller order size since I was just ordering for 2 today instead of 5, but everything was absolutely perfect. Both entrees were saucy with tender meat, the soup was fragrant with lemongrass and had an abundance of mushrooms, and the brown rice was well-cooked. I also got the Thai iced tea with coconut milk, and it's actually better that way! I always love ordering from here, but this last time was truly exceptional.

Yelp
This place was amazing! I went for my besties birthday late lunch/early dinner and it was a 10/10. From the beautiful aesthetics (decor, seating, colors, vibe), light music, location. The food was amazing! We got the crab fried rice (get with Thai sauce on the side BOMB, pad Thai, avocado crab roll. Yes!! It takes a while to make the food, which gives time for chatting, enjoying apps, or taking pictures! It was her birthday so they gave us a complimentary scoop of ice cream! THANKS!!! Park in the parking garage, enter through the back of the restaurant or enter through the front, but have a great entry for pictures. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Amazing food, very delicious Spice levels are accurate I ordered the veggie egg rolls, pad Thai and Thai tea. All items were 10/10 Very good portions for the entree if you like to eat a lot, if you have a smaller appetite I'd recommend sharing. Got seated immediately. Scan QR code at bar to get free parking.

Yelp
It's a little loud inside Ka Thai, so not ideal for a date or a group of people who really want to be able to talk. Our food was delicious and everything had a nice presentation. Our service was good, but after they delivered the ticket it was as if we didn't exist anymore, plus they added a gratuity to our tickets for a party of 5 even though it said it was only for parties of 6 or more.
google avatar

Rakshak R.

Yelp
ambiance is very nice and upscale, a nice place for a special occasion. spring rolls were pretty good, the outer layer was nice and crispy. the drunken noodles could have used some more sauce, but the pineapple fried rice was very good. their spice levels seem a bit lower when compared to other thai places so maybe go a level above. service was very friendly
google avatar

Joe S.

Yelp
Probably my favorite restaurant in uptown. Haven't had a bad item yet. It's nice that it's not super busy as I have not had to get a reservation yet. I hope it stays open because the food is great and the staff is on the spot with the refills on drinks. Ambiance is nice; however it does get a little loud inside when its busy, but outside is the best when the weather is nice. My favorite Items: Ceviche, Pineapple Rice, unsweet ice tea, and Sweet & Sour Chicken Stir fry.

Cassandra D.

Yelp
I order here all the time and have been for years, but they have messed up the order in the same way twice in the last few orders. On two separate occasions now they have sent noodle dishes via delivery without the flavoring/sauce. We end up literally receiving a container of noodles with veggies protein and oil. It's super frustrating after waiting for delivery bc you have to make an additional order and wait another hour for it to be corrected. Please, do a little bit better with quality control and make sure the food you are sending out (especially for delivery) is accurate.

Yelp
Honestly one of the best tasting Thai places in all of Texas. Very large portionsto share

Yelp
Had Lunch today at Ka Thai with coworkers for the first time today. We started with some spring rolls has an appetizer and I went ahead and got the pad thai with shrimp and chicken. It's was so delicious and had really great flavor. It was so good I clean out my plate. The portion is also pretty filling.. The server was great and polite. The place actually looks small from the outside but it once your inside there is great amount of space to seat. They also have an outdoor patio. I will definitely return to this restaurant to try something else on the menu.

Yelp
Great Thai spot! It's so cute and aesthetic here. We started off with a round of drinks and I got the fly me to the moon ($10) and my friend got a marg. The cocktail was sweet & not too strong w the coconut. We got the drunken noodles and the pad thai w shrimp and chicken ($16.95). I will say- this is on the pricer side, but it comes in a bigger portion. wish there was the same amount of shrimp as there was chicken- otherwise great protein size. I got it for 3/5 spice level and it was perfect for a good kick. Usually I get chili oil or hot sauce but this was the first time in a while I didn't have to- which was super nice. And the waiters were so attentive! Totally recommend this place for a dine in thai restaurant vs takeout.

Yelp
This place is so gorgeous. Great for a date night. I got the Heaven Beef and m-line smash. Both were an absolute hit! Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
I ordered through uber eats and it was really good. I heard this was trad wife Nara smith's favorite Thai restaurant in Dallas so I had to try. I got green curry, yellow curry, crab puffs and fried banana. Everything was delicious! Green curry was my favorite tbh. Would order again

Yelp
Joined some friends for a double date during happy hour and thoroughly enjoyed our visit! We walked in for an early dinner around 5pm and were promptly seated. Service was laidback and very friendly and food was quick and delicious! Simply put, this was a great spot with authentic Thai food that delivered in flavor, portion, and aesthetic execution. Highly recommend dropping by for lunch, happy hour, or dinner! QUICK FACTS: - Parking? Yes, park in the M-Line Garage behind the restaurant ($5 for 2 hrs., but you will get it validated)! You must register/pay for parking first and then they will give you a QR code to have it validated. There is also street parking around the area. - Happy hour? Yes, daily from 3-6pm and all day on Sundays! Special priced drinks (including mocktails) and snacks/apps. - Reservations? No, just walk in! - Takeout/order ahead? Yes, you can order online or call to place a takeout order. FOOD RATINGS: - Pad Thai (4/5): Solid pad Thai. Generous portion. The only regret is asking for level 3 spice and severely underestimating the kick! Great flavor, though. - Tom Kha Udon (5/5): I love Tom Kha soup and I love udon noodles, so this was a dream combo. I opted to have it mildly spicy, and it was delicious and flavorful. Tasted just as expected! - Mango Sticky Rice (5/5): Big fan of mango sticky rice and this was one of the top ones I've had. Loved the plating and arrangement, and the coconut ice cream add-on is worth the $2! You can also choose green tea ice cream instead. Delicious!

Yelp
Nice lively place in uptown Dallas and great food as well. We were there with a party of 10 and service was great. The place gets a bit loud, but I really liked the food there. While a bit salty, the Pad Kee Maw Spice Level 3 was really flavorful. The Mi Krop was my favorite... was nice and crispy with a tangy twist to it. Loved the service as well. Food was brought in time, wait staff checked on us multiple times, Empty plates were picked up promptly making place for the new ones coming in. Drinks were a bit on the sweeter side. I had to ask for my Mule to be less sweet and more zinged. Beware of the parking. While the parking is comped/validated, the parking structure is a bit tight. Good thing is the back entrance to the restaurant opens in the parking structure, which is great in cold weather. Definitely a place to visit again.
