Kaanapali Alii Resort

The location is perfect with the beach walkway ending right at the property. Walking distance to so many good restaurants as well as Whaler’s Village. Room was clean and was exactly what we needed for our stay. We were able to see whales from the beach and beach chairs are provided which was a great touch. Complimentary postcards with postage were waiting in our room to send to family or friends, such a great touch! I can’t recommend this property enough, I would definitely come back again.

Beautiful location with spotless grounds and ocean views. Large patio veranda with excellent views of the ocean. Our unit was very spacious, tastefully decorated and extremely clean!!! Very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of good quality bath towels and linens. Great pool area, very impressed with the cleanliness. Easy walking access to shopping and eateries. Ray greeted us upon arrival, shared all pertinent details and stayed in touch to ensure we had a smooth and positive experience.

I stayed in a two bedroom oceanfront and was blown away by the views and the product. The unit was incredible - and the staff was wonderful. The valet who escorted me to the room was incredibly helpful. I could hear the waves breaking from my condo. I wish I had time to enjoy the resident Grill Masters cooking! I love this side of Maui

Absolutely beautiful location and a 1 minute walk to the beach! The staff were all very kind. Special shout out to the gentlemen working late night security who showed us to our room after our flights were delayed and we got in super late. They were awesome!

Beautiful property right on the beach. Very large condo with room for the whole family. Full kitchen the cuts down on the expense of going out for all meals. Very helpful and friendly staff. The barbecues right on the beach allows watching beautiful sunsets while barbecuing. Even have a grill master who can cook your food with gourmet spices. Our favorite place to stay on Maui.

Polo Club Beach Property stay. Incredible view, attentive management, fabulous location, walkable along stunning beach path to all the resorts and shopping, coffee, hotel spas. Condo mirrors reflected stunning ocean vistas in every direction. Beach very accessible, clean pool and hot tub. Cleaning service came and tidied up after 3 days. Very clean condo with large Subzero fridge and plenty of kitchen supplies. Quiet, lovely enjoyable spot. We will be back!

Overall poor experience at Kaanapali Alii. We will not be returning. The condition of the apartment you get is a crap shoot as each one is individually owned. We saw two apartments and both were very outdated. Appliances are old. We had a broken freezer that barely worked, and they couldn’t do anything about it. They only offered another apartment in the same price category which was significantly worse than the one we had, so we declined it. Our WiFi router stopped working and it took them 24 hours to replace it. I had a very unfortunate interaction with a member of staff on the beach who aggressively and rudely confronted me about the beach umbrellas which are $60/day to rent even though beach chairs are free for guests and there are no signs on the beach mentioning that umbrellas need to be rented. At check in, the person at the front desk provided zero information about the resort. The main pool was filthy throughout our one week stay. It’s clearly not being properly cleaned or filtered. It’s so murky that you can barely see the bottom of the pool. I mentioned this to a member of staff and he blamed it on sunscreen, which isn’t a credible excuse. The pool at the Westin next door doesn’t look murky at all. At least half of the gas grills have broken burners. We had booked a “garden view” room and instead had a fantastic view of the parking lot. Other than the convenient location, this resort is not worth your time and money. It’s desperately in need of a massive renovation, and the staff need to be better trained.

A beautiful condo resort in the heart of Kaanapali. Walkable Beach path the entire way. The staff is friendly and courteous. Perfect for families and couples alike! The grill masters were kind and helpful. We traveled during whale season and saw many of them during walks and from our balcony. Golfing nearby made it the perfect place.
