My wife, baby son, and I stayed here in a rental condo for several days. We rented the condo directly through Hawaii Vacation Condos by Outrigger. We chose an unspecified unit (cheaper than booking a specific unit) and ended up in the "I" (eye) building on the 2nd floor with a lovely corner unit. The condo was very clean and well appointed. There were some elements that were a bit dated such as the ceiling and the beds were not the most comfortable. However, in general everything was comfortable and looked classy. The lanai was amazing for morning and evening relaxation. We appreciated the in-unit laundry. Our communication with Outrigger was also extremely smooth with some Q&A via email leading up to our check-in. The walkable beach with cabana was incredible and not very crowded. We loved that they provided beach chairs and towels, and there was some shade from the trees on the beach. The ability to walk to Whalers Village was extremely beneficial as well. We also enjoyed the Ka'anapali beach walk trail up and down the resort area. Overall, I would definitely return here.

Clean and comfortable condo with an amazing large shower and vanity area! Washing machine and dryer inside the unit was a plus. Full kitchen, with all utensils needed to make breakfast and grills available for dinner. 3 pools, shuffle board, bags and bocci available on roof top deck was amazing! |View of the garden, golf course and the ocean, short walk to the beach. Private cabana with full kitchen to utilize while on the beach. Free beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. for your use. Close walking distance to Black Rock Beach and Whalers Village shopping and restaurants, but yet secluded enough from all the noise.

Just came back from a week stay here at Kaanapali Maui with our 2 kids and we loved it. Friendly staff, plenty of parking although might be underground in parking structure, big pool, ok hot tub, grilling areas, cabana with shower, bathroom, free towels and chairs to rent, free trolly to nearby shopping and restaurants. We stayed in B201, kids loved how big it was, with private balcony, in room washer and dryer, kitchen was used frequently for family dinners during our stay. Provided a bar of soap for bathroom and one for shower, with a small bottle of shampoo. 3 packs of laundry powder, dishwashing pods, and dish washing liquid for kitchen. Stocked with cook/silverware/dishes. We didn’t care for the carpeting but each rental is different. Rental could use a little upgrade but nothing that would stop me from coming back again. Great value.

Found a cockroach living here rent free. Had to evict him. A single bar of soap for 5 days is just enough to keep those bugs away. The TV uses new tech from the 90s. First time to Maui and not really feeling the amenities. It’s advertised as a resort but it is like renting an old apartment. No water bottles. Bare minimum like appliances and hot water. Expect to bring everything you need to feel at home.

Everything you could ask for the property is well maintained, beautiful pools, and close to many places! Gave the room 4 only because it’s clearly old, so doesn’t have all the “ bells and whistles” but had kitchenette and washer dryer. we had a great time!

We stayed in room J222 August 9th through 16th. This was our 5th time to stay at the Maui Eldorado. This time, we rented directly from the owner of the condo and we were able to obtain the exact room in the picture online. (previously when booking through Outrigger, we were not able to choose an exact room and they were never as nice or have the view that was in the picture).||J222 was exactly as described; nicely decorated, wonderful view of the golf course, cabana and ocean, with no buildings blocking the view. ||Our only issue is that it does not have any window coverings! It has a sunshade on the lanai, but that does not provide privacy, nor does it darken the room. At night, when the light is on and it is dark inside, you can see directly into the room. In the morning, at 6 am, the room is illuminated as the sun comes up, so no sleeping in. And, in the afternoon, the west sun shines right in, making the room extremely hot...the a/c cannot keep up and runs continuously. This room would be perfect, if it had some window coverings. Very, very strange that there aren't any.||Our only other complaint, is that the front desk did not know we were arriving, they had to call the property management to confirm. When we got to the room, the t.v. was on an old sitcom. Strange. the room seemed dusty and removing our shoes to walk in the condo, our feet became very dirty...there are also dust bunnies under the bed. The unit needs a thorough cleaning. (that area of the property is getting a new roof, so it is my guess, the dust came from the activity of stripping the roof and putting a new one on.....but, would appear the room hadn't been cleaned after the roof was completed).

I rented 3 appartments and we were placed on opposite sides of the complex, I spoke to the manager and there was nothing she could do to accomodate us close . That was so inconvenient for us and my sons

Just got back from 10 days there with the whole family from my 86-year-old grandma to the three nieces and nephews under 18 months. This place was awesome. The rooms were great. We had a couple of them. They were all slightly different but all great. The views are amazing. The rooms were all super clean and had great service. It's only a couple hundred meters out to the beach and the El Dorado has a cabana on the beach that is massive and has a fridge and a stove and a barbecue and tables and chairs and barbecues and all sorts of stuff. So you can actually take all of your groceries down to this compound on the water and cook yourself meals all day long while you and the family swim and enjoy the beach. This is a great place to stay. The staff are lovely. The rooms are awesome. It's on one of the best golf courses in the country and I can't see enough good things about it

Yelp
My friend and I learned the hard way that Maui is expensive. We totally lucked out finding availability at Eldorado. It was one of the cheaper places to stay and still offered so much! It has great walkability to the popular area of Whalers Village and also has a big plaza right out front with a general store, snorkel rentals, cafe and more. There is a trolley/bus that stops at multiple nearby resorts all the way to Whalers Village as well. It's free! Eldorado was a pleasant surprise, as there's not many reviews or consistent pictures online. Our room was comfortable and clean. It offered an inside dining table as well as one outside on our patio. A couch, comfy queen bed and a spacious bathroom with a good size kitchen. We were on the first floor of building G. The check in process was easy and service was friendly. There are 3 pools, but the biggest one is the best. So much space and plenty of chairs and tables. The best part was definitely their cabana on the beach, it had inside sitting rooms, outside lounge chairs, and a full kitchen! They also had chairs you could take out to the beach as well as towels. Golf carts will take you there and back from your building. It is a pretty good walk, otherwise. Off the lobby there is a little cafe/convenience store where we had a breakfast and a lunch during our stay. The english muffin breakfast sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich were made fresh to order and with love. They also sold some alcohol and random goods you might need on your trip. This place would be an awesome choice for a family as they had a lot of big hang out areas. The grounds were well kept and had lush, beautiful plants. There were 2 cats who lived on the grounds as well :) We loved our trip here and had no complaints!

Yelp
We stayed in unit D200. We found the unit on VRBO, but booked directly through Maui Westside rentals (saved booking fees). The booking process seemed too seamless, with little interaction. In fact, I was actually worried it was fraudulent because no confirmation emails were received. We received an email a week prior to our stay advising a text message with check in instructions would be sent on the day of checkin. That never occurred, I had to call the office when we arrived on the island. We arrived to the unit and it appeared clean. It was spacious. Be aware there are many stairs and no parking sites near the unit. It makes unloading luggage and groceries difficult. But this can be overlooked, because one is in Maui. The unit did not have a welcome book with unit nuisances or checkout instructions. This too can be overlooked when in Maui. After a day of swimming, we arrived to the unit for evening showers. There was no hot water. We phoned the front desk, and because the unit is overseen by a third party (Maui Westside) the front person they could not assist and to call our booking company directly. I phoned Maui Westside and was told by the representative to contact the facility. At 11pm Hawaii time, we still did not have HOT water. We ended up boiling water in pots/pans and showered in that manner. Not acceptable! The next morning we phoned Maui Westside again, and were told they would look into it. The unit below us didn't have hot water either. The water heater had broken and was eventually replaced within 24hrs. During the 3rd day, our power went out at 5am. No working microwave or appliances. We phoned Maui Westside again and they contacted the facility, a breaker had been tripped. The maintenance worker instructed us to not run toaster and the coffee maker at the same time. These are the nuisances that are completely okay, but should be mentioned in a welcome book.... very preventable. The stay was worsened by a cockaroach in our bed during the stay. When we contacted the listing agency, we were simply given a $350 credit for the cleaning fee. I still cannot believe I continued the stay there. We stayed during the holidays and were unable to find another location to stay and thus endured....terrible. The unit had beach chairs, a cooler, a broken boogie board, beach toys, but no beach umbrella. There was welcome coffee and a little non disposable beach bag. The pantry was stocked with salt and pepper and that is all. No cooking spray, no soy sauce, no oil etc. There was no rice cooker either. The grounds had three community pools and a singular small jacuzzi. In making conversation with other guests, they stated "there is always something" with this place (rat infestations, no hot water, maintenance issues etc). Neither of it is reassuring.

Yelp
Maui Maui Eldorado Kaanapali: This is our sixth time in Hawaii together. Second time on Maui First time staying was 4 years ago in July 2019. Valorie and Kai are two of the friendliest staff: Paid 3.5 star price. Got 2.2 star accommodation K112. The room was clean but dated. That's the overall look as I perceive it. Upon check in Communication was good. We received notice that sometimes Internet is spotty so we had an alternate. This particular room's Internet completely went out the last two days. One T.V. Looks to be about a 28-30 inch very small. The positives. Can bring your own food like every other room. There's a huge shuffleboard area, 2 smaller pools to layout on. 1 large pool with hot tub. The grilling eating area is has dim lighting. Can barely see what you're eating after dark. The cabanas restroom facilities, chairs, lounge, chairs, refrigerator sink. Towels and a fresh water shower area. Arrival June 7, Wednesday: Staff Valorie is very friendly at Check in. Room is dated but doable June 8 ,Thursday: Covered pound cake from Costco left out on kitchen counter is covered in gnats/ ants Informed Staff about Airconditioner, A maintenance technician came and we informed him about bugs, I requested We get sprayed or get bug spray, I was told Solution is to keep the doors closed. For the air conditioner. Sensor. We already had done that. We were also told that the bugs get sprayed a week before new guest arrive. On Mondays. Friday, June 9 ,no issues. This morning Threw away a roach that was upside down in the kitchen. I assumed that was for from the pesticide. So maybe it worked. Saturday June 10, I emailed owner, and informed the staff about the bugs again. We left a knife on the stove for 90 minutes while we went to the grilling area and Visited with family on Saturday night. Came back and those same small bugs were all over the stove. I requested that the accommodations gets sprayed or get some bug spray tonight. Or Sunday. I was informed nothing could be accomplished until Monday. I messaged the owner through VRBO The owner told me to keep the door closed during the sunset. And to not leave food out. Wether is covered or not. Therefore, I cannot even leave cereal outside of the refrigerator. June 11, Sunday: the staff Kai comes to inspect. Informed that we will not be bug sprayed until Tuesday. Monday is a holiday. June 12 Monday. While we went snorkeling. Someone came and sprayed the areas. I should be thankful that no bugs were in the bedrooms are on the bed. Asked Valorie at the front desk about the pool lighting not being operational. And you could not see anyone while swimming at night. In the pool. Which creates a safety issue for guest. June 13 Tuesday. Enjoyed a beautiful Sunset then the kids enjoyed a safe night swim. At the pool area. June 15 Thursday. We were given a Check at out at 10:00 should have been 11:00 at Check In. Overall. Our accommodations were average and less than when compared to the rooms that our other family members booked during this time. I was a little jealous. Apparently some of those rooms have been remodeled and updated. which look very clean and refreshing. Again, the downer for me was, I could not mentally get over the bugs, and was just thankful that it was not in my luggage or clothes. If Springhill suites, or the Marriott or the Hyatt I would've gotten another room immediately. The gym / fitness center is nice has several cardio piece of equipment, spin cycle, rogue, spin cycle, treadmill, elliptical, rogue weight rack, two barbells, and various dumbbells. iIt looks pretty clean and sanitary. The cabana have shortened hours. Are only open from 9:30 AM until 5:30 PM. Sunrise is around 5:45 AM. The Golf cart ride to the cabana is fun. If you try and get a ride down from the front desk in the earlier than 9:30 AM, they will quickly tell you not until 9:30. My Sister in law asked 20 minutes earlier on Friday.

Yelp
I would stay here again.. 5 minutes from the beach walking also the staff will pick you up and take walking distance to try stores or shuttle service

Yelp
Great location at reasonable prices with an exclusive beach cabana. The cabana at the beach is the best feature--no other resort in Kaanapali has one. Walk 10 min or order a golf cart to take you from the office. Full kitchen with sink, fridge, and ice maker. Bath in the sun or shade on the deck without the messy sand. Or check out a beach chair and enjoy the sand. There is something for everyone! The next best feature is the great location. Walk north up to 2 miles on a boardwalk along the ocean, passing Kahekili Beach Park with some of the best snorkeling. Walk through the neighboring Sheraton on the south and walk up to 2 miles that direction, passing Whalers Village sipping area and some of the most beautiful hotels you will ever see. Walk 10 min to Black Rock to enjoy amazing snorkeling and be there by 5:50pm any evening to watch the cliff dive ceremony just before the spectacular Maui sunset. Spacious condos, most of them with full kitchens so you can save money by eating in. Why stay anywhere else?

Yelp
We stayed at The Maui Eldorado in a 2 bedroom, upper corner unit managed by Vacasa with our two teen boys. The 2 bedroom has ample space, and there was nice separation/privacy between the bedrooms if you're sharing with other adults. The property is quiet. The master bedroom and living room attached to a lanai, which was huge and had comfortable seating and shade screens. Each bedroom has a full attached bathroom. Our unit had a washer and dryer, which we used several times. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils, and some limited spices (it was kind of eclectic, so I assume it was "gifted" from prior guests). Maui Eldorado has an amazing stretch of beach beyond the golf course. It is much wider and less crowded than nearby big hotels and resorts on the other side of black rock. The beach has good snorkeling; we saw lots of different fish and 2 sea turtles. However, I recommend you plan to go all the way around the Black Rock and get out on the other side. Coming back to the Maui Eldorado side of the Black Rock requires a very strong swimmer. The beach cabana is very nice, and not too crowded. My kids loved the main "Whale" swimming pool, and they had a chance to swim in the pool everyday. We also used the BBQ grill near the main pool, and the grills look brand new. We grilled several times. The only thing that did get crowded was the hot tub. There were no less than 8 kids in it every time I was at the pool. It seems like they need a larger hot tub for the resort, and maybe one at each of the smaller pools too. I would definitely stay again!

Yelp
We loved our stay in Maui. We stayed in condo J207 and it was in a great location with a lovely view. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach, which was pretty secluded and peaceful. The condo was spacious, clean and well decorated. The beds were comfortable and air conditioning was great. (Be sure to keep the sliding doors closed if you're using the AC, as the doors have sensors and it will not run if they are open.) The only complaint we had with the unit was the kitchen was not as well equipped as we would have hoped. There was only 1 roll of paper towels and no foil or sandwich bags. If you plan on making sandwiches for the beach or packing up leftovers, be sure to grab these items from the store when you arrive on the island. The washing machine needed to be cleaned, as it had a funky smell to it. Lastly, the lanai and a lot of bird poop on the floor and outdoor tables/chairs. Keep in mind that you cannot hear the ocean from the condo, so if you're looking for the sound of the waves to put you to sleep at night, this won't work for you. The resort itself is maintained nicely and very peaceful. It was very quiet and the grounds were lush and green. The staff that gave us rides to the beach in golf carts were very nice and professional. We visited the largest pool on the grounds. It was very shallow, (only 4 ft), but clean and peaceful. It was above the parking garage, so there was a nice view. The parking garage did not have a clearance of 6.5' as noted, at least not on the 4th floor. Our full size SUV actually scraped the ceiling! I think with time it the structure has settled, so beware if you are in a large vehicle. All in all, this is a great condo and resort and we would stay there again.

Donna S.

Yelp
Nice basic resort, pleasant staff. But condo was very dated, carpet with multiple large stains. Mattresses were old. There was bird poop on the lanai and lounge chairs. Beach cabana was nice and they do provide towels and beach chairs. Pool area basic but nice. Based on webs pictures I expected rooms to be higher quality more updated.

Gary C.

Yelp
Great place to stay, cabana area is great, close to shops across the street, the girls love Whalers village, we will be back , bbq's looks and works like brand new, we stayed in B building parking is tight and not to many stalls but the parking structure is close by if you don't find a spot, overall great place to say I would recommend it .

Yelp
We stayed here in condo A203 managed by Maui Ka'anapali Vacation Rentals with another couple, the room is very roomy with a huge lanai/deck. Comfortable for 4 people or a medium/large family. They have almost everything you'll need, dishes, pots pans, blender, boogie boards ect. The beds are nice and comfy & the condo is very clean, we've stayed in Hawaii a couple times and bugs are normally everywhere but we didn't see any for our entire stay. All of the workers were extremely friendly, they offer cart rides down to the private beach cabana and free towel/chair rentals! The condos are in a great location, very close walking distance to the whaler village for shopping, and also black rock beach and of course Ka'anapali beach. It's close enough to Lahaina so Uber and Lyft rides are super cheap! Less than $10. And there's plenty of rental places near by for scooters or a vehicle. (The condo has parking). If you like golfing the condo over looks the course with no one to obstruct your view. When we return to Maui we're definitely going to stay here again! Well deserved 5 stars, and we have stayed all over the world!!
