We had a pleasant stay at the Kani Palm Beach hotel. The room, cleanliness was good. The infinity pool was stunning and perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sea view as the beach was too crowded in the evening. It was B&B we got but we also had dinner with an affordable price at the hotel, and the food was flavorful. A special mention goes to Imesha, lovely girl who took care of us during dinner. She was extremely kind, caring, and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well looked after throughout. The ginger, honey and lemon tea she made for us was the highlight. I would like to add a suggestion to develop the breakfast buffet by adding more variety. Overall, it was a good experience.

Kaani palm beach hosted us for our stay. The room we stayed in was emacculate with a beautiful view of the ocean. The cleanliness of the building and it's surrounds are truly impressive. The staff was always very friendly and accommodating. A special mention must be made about our server Anisur. He was extremely friendly and highly engaging. We looked forward to seeing him every morning at the breakfast table. We were lucky to experience the festivities of new years and applaud the special touches that the hotel provided on this day. Like the new years wish and the delicious festive dinner on the beach. Thank you Kaani for being our home away from home in Maafushi!

Our stay at Kaani Palm Beach Hotel was a pleasant and welcoming experience. Initially, we had booked a Deluxe Double Room without a window, but upon arrival, we were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a Triple Room with a balcony and city view. This thoughtful gesture was truly appreciated and made a positive impression right from the start. The room was clean, well-maintained, and nicely decorated. It felt spacious and comfortable, with all the basic amenities provided. The balcony added a refreshing touch, allowing us to enjoy the city atmosphere and unwind after a day of activities. Breakfast at the hotel was overall satisfying. The spread included essential items such as tea, coffee, eggs, cereal, bread, and some traditional Maldivian dishes, which gave a nice local touch. However, one thing we felt was missing was yogurt — especially for guests who prefer a lighter, healthier option in the early morning. Including yogurt would elevate the breakfast experience and provide a more balanced offering. Despite this minor suggestion, we were happy with the breakfast quality and appreciated the effort put into maintaining a good variety each morning. In summary, Kaani Palm Beach Hotel exceeded our expectations with their hospitality and service. The free room upgrade was a kind gesture, the room was clean and cozy, and the breakfast met most needs. We would gladly recommend this hotel to future travelers looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in the Maldives.

I chose Kaani Palm Beach with high expectations, as it is marketed as a four-star hotel. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the very first moment. We waited nearly 30 minutes at the harbor before anyone came to pick us up, which immediately set a negative tone for the stay. The room was only moderately clean and did not reflect four- or five-star standards in any way. In reality, the hotel experience is closer to a two-star level. Very basic amenities were missing, including slippers and tissues, which was quite shocking for a hotel claiming such a rating. Guests are allowed only one bottle of water per person, and even watching TV requires an extra payment—something completely unacceptable for a so-called luxury hotel. The reception staff were another major issue. They lacked professionalism and basic guest-service skills. Simple requests required calling multiple times, often without a proper response, which was frustrating and exhausting. The only positive aspect of this stay was the restaurant staff. The waiters and waitresses were genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive, and they were the only team members who made guests feel valued. The food itself was acceptable—good in taste but very limited in options. Overall, Kaani Palm Beach did not meet its advertised standards at all, and the experience fell far below expectations for a four-star hotel.

I had a wonderful stay, and I was truly impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. Shawal, Allom, and Jowel were exceptionally kind, attentive, and always smiling. Thanks to their genuine hospitality, I felt not just like a guest, but like I was at home.||They helped me with every question, took care of every detail, and made my stay far more special. The hotel is very lucky to have such dedicated and professional staff members.||I want to sincerely thank them for their hard work and heartfelt kindness. I’m leaving with great memories, and they played a big part in that. I would gladly come back and highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We stayed at Kaani Palm Beach from 30.11–01.12.2025 for our honeymoon, and we absolutely loved it. It was a truly unforgettable experience. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine kindness. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made us feel special and comfortable. A very special thank you to Jowel from Kaani Palm Beach — he is an amazing person! So kind, helpful, and always smiling. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, and we are very grateful for his hospitality. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience made our honeymoon even more magical. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in the Maldives. Concierge (check-in) service one of the worst. Unfriendly. No smile. Slow. Careless. They left my luggage in the buggy. We were scrambling thinking that someone took our luggage. I told the manager, he ignored my comments. Irresponsible. Broke my wheel luggage. They dont want to take responsibility. Told me the wheel broke since alighted from ferry, but I was the one who took the luggage and wheel it to the driver. I told the manager, he brushed off my comments. I had to speak to the customer service person (Tiger) who helped me. Deceptive. Manager and Kadir (driver). They seem to be offering help but they have an agenda especially when they know they can take advantage of you. I would refrain you from booking here especially when you have kids or big family. It will be okay if no issue arises. But when it does, i wouldnt count and hope for things to resolve. The restaurant staffs are much more accommodating and helpful compared to those at concierge. Good trip but unpleasant experience with the hotel. Take the risk if you wish, especially if youre Asian.

The property itself is pleasant and the stay was generally comfortable. However, I experienced an incident that affected my sense of privacy and how safe I felt as a guest. At around 8pm, a staff member knocked on my door to distribute New Year cookies. I had not requested any service and did not respond to the knock. While I understand the gesture was meant to be kind, unrequested room visits in the evening can feel uncomfortable, especially when staying alone. Staff should always wait for clear verbal consent before proceeding. I raised this concern with the manager. Unfortunately, the response was disappointing. I was told that this is a “normal standard operating procedure in hotels around the world,” and I was also asked whether this was my first time traveling. This felt dismissive and did not acknowledge my discomfort or the importance of guest privacy and consent. Aside from this issue, the hotel itself is fine. However, I hope management can improve both staff procedures around unrequested room visits and how guest concerns are addressed, with more empathy and professionalism.
