KAARO HOTEL EL BUHO

No tea/coffee in the room and it was pretty cramped with two beds. Having said that, it was lovely and quiet, lovely pillows, nice thick blankets and the shower was fantastic once you set it to the right temperature. The breakfast was also nice but you have to get there early to get eggs as breakfast opens at 6am to allow everyone to join the various tours which tend to start at 7am. The location of the hotel is great; right in the middle of the town. The pizza restaurant right opposite is great too, there is a cashmachine around the corner and lots of little shops which sell pretty much everything. As there is a chain link at the end of the road there isn't much traffic going past, making it much quieter than in other parts of the town. The staff are lovely and helpful too. We would definitely stay here again.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The location is great and the rooms are cute and tidy. A bit chilly but all the beds had thick wool blankets. Above all, the staff here were absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately we fell ill during our trip, and the staff were so caring and attentive. They helped make an unpleasant experience into a positive one and were very warm to us the whole time. Great hotel!

Just what we needed for a one night stay in Puno before a tour of Lake Titicaca. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean, tidy and gives a sense of luxury. Incredibly comfortable beds and large rooms. Breakfast was included which helped us start our day just right. We were also able to leave our luggage for over 24 hours as we set off on our tour for free which was great. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great place to start your visit to Puno, it was located at the very center. It's rooms are very clean, quiet and warm. They can offer some got drinks for you to take 24/7 at the counter, which is perfect. I would come back for sure. Their breakfast it's complete and filling. They have. A lovely terrace to take some sun and rest.

Front desk staff not friendly.|Room smelled of sewage and had stained carpets. |Booked through hotel's website and ended up getting lower quality room than other guests who booked through third party vendors. |Would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Room are big but the toilet had strong smell. Free breakfast was quite good. It’s in very good location easy to get everywhere. Hotel also offer good local tour.

Very nice hotel right in the center of town. Very attentive personnel, heater in the room !!!!, nice bed, pillows, hot water. Breakfast is tasty with lots of fruit choices. Great value for money, highly recommend!!!

Went here for The Breakfast Buffet (no guest in the hotel) which was incredible. For 15 Soles you got fresh Fruit, fresh egg, bread and a lot more! Big recommendation! The Staff was also super nice!
