The nature at its best||The staff is excellent, helpful, polite. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Shashank is an excellent person to go safari. Hello has a through knowledge of the wildlife. Mr. Sudhakaran, accompanied us the the bheemankoli mahadev temple, visit to this 800 old shiva temple was a wonderful experience. Surrounded by water from three sides. ||The food served by chef is delicious and mouth watering.||Best place to visit when you want to be away from the hustle bustle of daily life. Village tour , was a great experience to meet the locals.

This is a great place, the food is excellent, attentive and friendly staff. We stayed in one of the tented rooms, very comfortable with all amenitites. Our guide, Shashank was incredible, so well informed and great at telling us about the the animals and answering our questions. Kaav also supply highly quality binoculars which were much needed and greatly appreciated. We were lucky to see tigers, elephants, wild dogs, boar, deer. We went on the village walk, again, Shashank was very informative and we really enjoyed it. So pleased we stayed here, so many happy memories.

Kaav Safari Lodge at Kabini is truly a gem—an exquisite property paired with top-notch service. The staff go above and beyond, always courteous, kind, and ready to help with anything you need. The hospitality here is exceptional. The lodge itself is breathtaking, with every detail thoughtfully curated. A special mention to Rajesh and Shashank, who were always on hand to assist and ensure we felt completely at home throughout our stay. The culinary experience was another standout—the chef and his team consistently delivered outstanding meals from breakfast through dinner. Every dish was a delight. Our safari experiences were unforgettable. We were fortunate enough to spot several tigers, a leopard, wild dogs, elephants, and countless deer. Sandesh, Kaav’s resident naturalist, is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife. Thanks to his expertise, we left not just with amazing sightings but a deeper appreciation for the forest. If you're considering a stay in Kabini, look no further. Kaav offers the perfect combination of luxurious accommodation, delicious food, and warm, attentive staff. Book it without hesitation—you won’t be disappointed :)

What a wonderful place. From being greeted by Toto the Labrador to waving a fond farewell, a perfect stay. |Everyone friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Special mentions must go to the chefs who cooked up delicious fresh dishes. |And a huge thank you to Sandesh, who clearly loves his job as a Naturalist here: escorting us in Safari to see elephants, deer, langur, macaque, mongoose, dancing peacocks; taking us birdwatching in the daytime, and minibeast spotting in the evening. He took great delight in showing us the sights and sounds of the Kabini river.

Ours was a two night stay mainly for jungle safari trips and the jeep arrangement, drivers were very good. We had in fact five sightings of tigers in three trips spanned in two days. Rooms are just good but could be better at that price. Food and service is not of expected standards and ours being a second visit here in two years, could notice a clear decline in hospitality part. There may be better and more decent places in Kabini at that price. Finally I didn’t like the way they were demanding a tip while leaving.

We chose Kaav Safari Lodge for our stay at Kabini looking at the beautiful pictures on their website and I must tell the place is more beautiful than what you see. They only have 7 rooms which is ideal for those who want to escape the crowds. The highlight is definitely the food, each and every dish was delicious and felt homely too! The staff is extremely polite and hospitable and they also arranged a surreal candle light dinner by the pool for our anniversary. On the whole we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and will definitely recommend it to everyone!

Stayed here for NYE 2025. Shashank, our naturalist, was a superb guide! The KAAV Kabini team really goes above and beyond when it comes to food. It was homely and delicious They set up bonfires, meet and greets for the limited guests and evening dinner sessions. I loved the ambience and would recommend this not just for couples but also small families. The property is beautiful. The pool is set in a luxurious setting. We loved playing with Toto, the in house Labrador. They arranged our safaris as well, all in all, it was a great getaway and we needed that time away from our daily hustle and bustle
