Kaboom Hotel

We have been here twice and each time we have found this hotel to be a superb accommodation. The rooms are large and very nice. The cleanliness is taken care of and the staff are always friendly and ready to help. In the summer, the outdoor space is very pleasant. The location is convenient: in front of the station (trains and buses at your fingertips) and a stone's throw from the historic center of the city.

Very friendly staff. Willing to help you out with special requests. Location is perfect in front of the main railway station and near the city centre. Fresh new hotel.

Great place. Location is great. Right by the station, easy parking nearby. Small and pleasant walk into the old town across the bridge. Breakfast is not great. Limited for the price. Entrance around the building, no access from inside. Take your money and walk a block to So Delicious. No fridge/coffee in the rooms. Coffee in the lobby is €2 per cup. Beds are on the harder side.

Cute hotel just blocks away from everything. Staff is friendly, rooms are comfortable and spacious. My only complaint was they use a scented spray in the lobby that’s incredibly strong, so if you have a sensitive nose it might get to you.

I had a great experience as a solo female traveller at Kaboom Hotel. The room was clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. Walking distance to many shops, bars, cafes. Great if you will use the train or the bus since it is directly across the station. Maybe if there was a minibar it would be much more awesome. There was a little noise coming from the air conditioner but it didnt bother me too much. Definitely will choose Kaboom again if I come to this town again in the future!

Came for the Andre Rieu Christmas Concert. A cheap hotel that took advantage three nights in an uncomfortable student room cost 991.50 euros for two with breakfast that you had to go out of the hotel and round the corner for. The food was fresh but no one checked that you should be there. No bar no lounge to relax in. Beds are tiny and not very comfortable. You only get one pillow and a quilt that barely covers you, I am not a big person but I am certainly larger than a child which is all these single beds are good for. Most certainly will never stay here again. Photos taken on our last morning, sink is in the bedroom, shower in its own room as is the toilet, no complaint about the shower and toilet having separate rooms but the shower leaked and the sink in the bedroom reminded me if a Bed and Breakfast 40 years ago.

Hotel accros Maastricht Central station||+perfect location. Super friendly staff who are 24/7 avaliable, clean room|| Reasonable beds||- a bit noisy (shower from other rooms , hallway, Doors etc), ||All and all good price- quality

We paid €469 for 4 nights with no breakfast. It was the bare minimum facilities. There was no kettle, no toothbrush and toothpaste. The floor was very cold. The hairdryer barely worked. No detailed explaination for reduced parking rate. Overall 4 star only because of the location.

Nice clean room with a helpful staff. Hotel is located across the street from the train station. The buffet breakfast is extra.

Amazing and spotless. What a great concept everything here was well thought out. The staff was quite friendly and helpful, the room was a decent size and even if due to the construction of train station the price couldn't be beat. The terrace was beautiful-walked thru lobby for a latte from Douwe Egbert & enjoyed it on the terrace each morning with a cigarette. The hotel itself is non smoking but unlike others they realize smokers still exist and pay good same money as non-smokers to stay with them and don't make you go stand out front like a hooker! Great marketing, design, shower all in all an incredible little gem. Will stay again.

Just had a truly horrible experience with this hotel and Priceline. I booked an "extra-large urban" room for my family--two adults and three small children--through the Priceline site. When we arrived, they had booked us in a "standard urban" room for two people, insisted I had made a mistake, claimed they had no other rooms available, and refused to provide any other assistance. As it was 8 pm and my children were very tired, I asked if my kids could just sleep in blankets on the floor since we had already paid for the room. The front desk attendant gave me the room key, and we went upstairs and let out kids start to bath and get ready for bed. After 10 minutes, a manager banged on our door, and started screaming at us to get out or she would call the police. My children were just done bathing, dripping wet, and naked, and she refused to give us five minutes to get them dressed and insisted she did not need to refund our room. We hurried our scared and tired kids out of the hotel. As we were leaving, my husband told the woman he wanted her name so he could speak t management and took out his phone to take a picture of her name tag. She started screaming again and pressed some type of panic button! It was completely ridiculous. I chose the hotel because it advertised itself as being child friendly but clearly our experience was anything but. My kids were extremely upset. I would warn any family to stay away.
