This hotel is at a good location, just opposite Maastricht rail station. It has quirks, a peaceful chill-out patio garden, mottos or useful information can be found on walls, doors or on stairs. Bedroom good size, very clean. En suite bathroom good size too, very clean. Instant hot water. Good breakfast too.

We loved our quirky, friendly, fun stay just across the road from the railway station and walking distance into the city centre. Our Basic Urban room was clean, service was friendly, and we enjoyed the use of the outside patio area. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure and temperature were great. We liked being able to choose our room at check in, although a map of the locations of the available rooms would have been helpful to help us decide. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised at every detail of our 2 night stay at Kaboom!

Surely the best aspect of my stay in Maastricht. The emplacement is perfect, just in front of the train station. The room is really clean, the breakfast buffet is good and with a lot of choice. I would have loved tasting more local dish tho. Beyond this hotel is such a good place. Moreover there are a lot of free features that makes your stay even more pleasent (water, candies, luggage storage…)

Good location. Simple but clean. It gives the impression of runing bussiness in cutting costs mode. Breakfast normal but you have to go outside the building. Good for short trip! Staff helpful. They provided luggage keeping after check out.

Loved this hotel for my recent stay in Maastricht. The location is great and hugely convenient especially if you arrive by public transport. Staff were super friendly and the hotel benefits from an enclosed private outdoor terrace. Despite this being very central, it was quiet during the night. Highly recommend.

Kaboom was a great place to stay! Nice boutique hotel with the kindest staff and you can even rent walking sticks to keep you company. The sticks were surprisingly captivating! Also attached to a good coffee shop so win-win-win. But it really came down to the kindness of the staff- they were awesome. Highly recommend.

Google
Ok hotel that tries to be a bit quirky /fun. I might have had higher expectations as I paid the same here as a spa hotel I booked later on my trip, but it turned out there was a Andre Rieu concert that same day with lots of people in town.|Hotel is centrally located near the station. It basically has 2 beds so just for sleeping. |It was clean and the shower was good. Their marketing gets a bit corny - for instance we felt it was a puzzle to find our room, but a friendly staff helped us.|We did not get the breakfast as I went to a local supermarket instead. There are several restaurants nearby.|Had trouble finding parking when I arrived but saw parking house driving in to hotel. On my next hotel I got a message on where to park when arriving which was helpful.

Google
A fantastic place to stay, the service is absolutely outstanding. Rooms are very comfortable and welcome water in the room was great. As we were there for Andre Rieu concert we even got beers in our room. When we got back from the concert, we were welcome with champagne and snacks

Yelp
Amazing and spotless. What a great concept everything here was well thought out. The staff was quite friendly and helpful, the room was a decent size and even if due to the construction of train station the price couldn't be beat. The terrace was beautiful-walked thru lobby for a latte from Douwe Egbert & enjoyed it on the terrace each morning with a cigarette. The hotel itself is non smoking but unlike others they realize smokers still exist and pay good same money as non-smokers to stay with them and don't make you go stand out front like a hooker! Great marketing, design, shower all in all an incredible little gem. Will stay again.

Yelp
Just had a truly horrible experience with this hotel and Priceline. I booked an "extra-large urban" room for my family--two adults and three small children--through the Priceline site. When we arrived, they had booked us in a "standard urban" room for two people, insisted I had made a mistake, claimed they had no other rooms available, and refused to provide any other assistance. As it was 8 pm and my children were very tired, I asked if my kids could just sleep in blankets on the floor since we had already paid for the room. The front desk attendant gave me the room key, and we went upstairs and let out kids start to bath and get ready for bed. After 10 minutes, a manager banged on our door, and started screaming at us to get out or she would call the police. My children were just done bathing, dripping wet, and naked, and she refused to give us five minutes to get them dressed and insisted she did not need to refund our room. We hurried our scared and tired kids out of the hotel. As we were leaving, my husband told the woman he wanted her name so he could speak t management and took out his phone to take a picture of her name tag. She started screaming again and pressed some type of panic button! It was completely ridiculous. I chose the hotel because it advertised itself as being child friendly but clearly our experience was anything but. My kids were extremely upset. I would warn any family to stay away.
