3 days in Singapore: The November 2019 edition - SilverKris

"A compact sake and cocktail bar fronted by a colourful Kabuki-inspired mural, offering a fine selection of Japanese sake, cocktails, whiskies and craft gins; signature offerings include the Kabuke POP (Wa Gin, sake, lime, cranberry and ginger ale) and tasting flights such as the Aragato, which present sake on a sweet-to-dry gradient." - Sanjay Surana

The last 3 times we visited it's been a little different. The staff doesn't seem as friendly and we were rushed in and out. The service was mediocre at best. The overall attitude was get them in and out as fast as possible. The food was not up to par either. Our chef was very cool and entertaining, but the food portions...small and the noodles were soaked in blah. It was much better when it first opened. Too busy and they can't handle the crowds.!!

A fun, family place that serves delicious food. While the restaurant is rather spacious, seating for the Hibachi style cooking can be rather tight. You may end up sitting elbow to elbow with strangers. (Literally) If that is an issue, they have dining room seating where you can still order the Hibachi menu. The rooms are wheelchair accessible but once again the Hibachi area is close. The staff is great! There is plenty of Free Parking but pick your time wisely because it fills up quickly. (Parking is within the Mall parking) They accept cash and cards. Have a great time!

Stopped by Kabuki when my wife was craving some sushi, Kabuki was fantastic. They have some great lunch specials and some of the best sesame chicken around. Perfect for a date with it's modern atmosphere and great service and you won't regret stopping by.

My first time to eat in this resto. The interior layout is very spacious. However they need to change the brand of their toilet paper. It’s too thin and breaks easily. For Sashimi Regular, the fish was fresh and yummy even the plating is excellent. The lambhorgini roll was also delicious and worth your money. We also loved their salad and their own salad dressing.

I enjoyed my meal here. The food was pretty tasty. Service was great, she was very attentive. I didn't know what to expect so I almost went elsewhere but I'm glad I decided to try it here. Now I can't wait to go back & try some of the other dishes.

This was not good. We had an automatic tip added to our bill after having bad service and being stared at the entire time. My friend has been there before and they’ve never done that to her. The food was fine but we did NOT receive good service. There was something off from the moment we walked in. Not sure why we were being treated differently but they definitely did not like us. We were sat and drinks came out. A drink spilled on our table and completely covered me in liquid. The staff stood there and stared at us. My boyfriend had to run to the front and ASK for napkins as if they couldn’t see the river on the floor. He then cleaned up 80% of the mess himself. We finally had to ASK them to help clean up because the 3 napkins he was given didn’t suffice. The staff just stood and stared again. The young lady then asked if we would like to switch to a different table. That was the only nice thing they did the whole night. THEN almost 10 dollars was added to our check for an automatic tip that we were not aware of. When we questioned them and asked if we could change the amount he said no it’s automatic. In Pennsylvania you have to tell customers about automatic gratuity before you print the bill. This was a horrible experience all around and I don’t recommend you come here. Maybe just DoorDash it if you really like the food.

I recently dined at Kabuki Restaurant and had a pleasant experience overall. Despite the lack of alcohol service, the food was delicious and the prices were fair. The ambiance was clean and inviting. However, our waitress seemed a bit distant and not very personable, simply going through the motions. Nonetheless, the lunch special I ordered was a great deal, providing ample portions of Miso soup, salad, rice, Goysia dumplings, the main course, and three California rolls, all for just $16. I'm definitely considering going back to try their sushi next time. It's a spot worth checking out if you're looking for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.
