Kabwe Campsite

The layout of the two campsites is really nice, overlooking the plains. A thatched lapa is provided with a table, in addition to a flush toilet and bucket shower. Unfortunately, there is no electricity or running water at the site. Shower water is brought from the river. You really need to come prepared with everything, including power sources and drinking water. There is a cement circle for campfires, but no braai. A fire can be started on request in the evening and morning after going to view at the bats. The bat forest is about 25 minutes from the camp.

Absolutely beautiful on the river. Safari tents are very comfortable and the staff are excellent. They provide hot water for showers whenever you need it and are incredibly pleasant. The bat migration is in November and it was a delight to see.
