Truly enjoyed their Sahlep! It was perfect for a late chilly evening. They also suggested a chocolate cherry pie which was so gooey and delicious! Situated right at the heart of the area, the cafe's ambience was one of calm and soothing music and several tiny Turkish articles and decorations that made the place. Highly recommend that you get a Sahlep!

Best fish you can have in Istanbul. Fresh and super tasty. We had the grilled salmon, sea bass, and sea bream which were great. The appetizers are amazingly delicious. Make sure to try them all! Specifically, the fish which is in olive oil and lemon (forgot its name!). I have also bought fish from here and cooked it at home. Definitely worth it.

Lovely environment with good fresh fish options.. You can buy raw fish from the fish stand indoors and you can also order your favourite fish, get it grilled or fried and eat it in the restaurant areas. I ordered a seafood soup and it was tasty. Nice place to get a real taste of Istanbul’s fish culture.. Staff is also friendly.. Highly recommended 👌🏻

Google
A good fish restaurant. The fish soup was excellent, unfortunately our first choice starters were not available and the others we chose were still prepared but did not add to our enjoyment meal (artichoke and orange), though the hot, fresh cornbread was good. The fish we had grilled was excellent: bluefish and sea bream. I would drop a star for the high wine prices: ₺260 for what turned out to be an average rosé, but we did not have to choose it. We noticed no other table had wine, most with beer or water and the restaurant became very busy as the evening wore on.

Google
Good seafood restaurant and fairly priced. We were the only ones up at the roof terrace and had a dedicated waiter serving us throughout our meal. Great tasting and fresh seafood... salmon, octopus, shrimps, mezze... Kadikoy is not a typical place for travelers but has so much potential... take the short ferry ride and treat yourself to the seafood there!

Google
Very nice multi-story and cozy fish and seafood restaurant. If the weather is nice I would advise you sit on the roof. We ordered some cold and hot mezze plus a large fish plate for two. The place was packed, the food was great, and the service pretty fast (not expected, especially with the large amount of customers and limited number of waiters. Overall though, it was a very enjoyable experience. The place is non-smoking but you can walk outside (or on the balcony if you’re on the roof) for a smoke. The restaurant also offers local beer and rakı for a complete Turkish experience.

Overpriced and sub par service. Hard to get reservations and parking is an issue. All that being said. Food is ok, kind of like a hit and miss. Appetizers are tasty but portions are very small. Surprisingly, bottles of liquor is decently priced. Overall, I would recommend it to be checked out but don’t have very high expectations.

Google
Very touristic place, we came to the restaurant because of the good reviews. We tried grille eggplant salad, artichoke, corn bread, prawns in butter, octopus and grilled seabream. Tasteless food !!! Horrible octopus! And artichoke... We didn't eat the Fish because its wasn't fresh. Taste was horrible 😕 I have never eaten so bad in Istanbul.

Yelp
They are now a bakery no more seafood restaurant. Great coffee and the owner was very friendly and helped me find a good seafood restaurant.

Yelp
A wonderful seafood restaurant! Fresh fish, excellent service, and a great locality, make this restaurant one of the top for me in Kadikoy/Moda district of the Asian side Istanbul. You can pick your one fish. I had fish soup - excellent - grilled calamari - nice sauce, a little chewy side, but tasty, grilled jumbo shrimp - heavenly, and grilled fish - looked and tasted like Spanish mackerel - sweet and juicy. This is a small restaurant/fish store. More tables outside. I am going back there again tomorrow.

Yelp
Excellent food and service! I highly recommend this restaurant. We had the special of the day which was a roasted fish, mussel, scallops, mushroom and peppers dish. Outstanding quality and flavor. The grilled levrek (black sea bass) was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful char grilled flavor. The fish was tender and flakey and taken off of the grill at just the right time before it had dried out the least bit. We also ordered the calimari also which was cooked perfectly. As a fish store and restaurant the fish and shellfish are fresh and the skill of the chef/cooks was clearly apparent in the subtle yet flavorable preparation of the dishes. When dining in this part of the world you can tell how well a restaurant is run by the head waiter. The head waiter Selcuk provided excellent service by making a table available and ensuring that we were given the utmost attention during our meal. When in Istanbul take the short ferry to Kadikoy and visit Kadi Nimet Balikcilik. Be sure to ask for Selcuk and pass on our best regards.

Yelp
We are so happy that we took time to explore the Bazaar on the Asian side of Istanbul. It's more authentic, real life, markets. The highlight was definitely this gem. We sat outside and had an awesome view of the busy market streets, opportunities to pet stray cats...topped off with delicious food! What more could you want? Our waiter didn't speak much English, but that really didn't matter. We were willing to eat whatever he recommended. We ended up with fried seabass and grilled whatever the "Turkish fish" was. We also had some stuffed mussels. It was all so so good. The prices were unreal and service fantastic, as well. I would definitely recommend taking the ferry over even if it's only to visit this restaurant. It's worth the trip!

Yelp
Awesome spot. Fried horse mackerel (BEST! FISH! EVER!), fava bean mezze, and raki is a perfect afternoon snack. DEEEEELICOUS! This is what we had: Meze (smoked eggplant salad, mashed fava beans, stuffed mussels, yogurt with mint) and Fish (Horse Mackerel) and Rak Note: this is part of the Culinary Backstreets Two Continents Tour. I advise you do the tour, rather than go here on your own.

Yelp
Very nice fish restaurant - make sure you follow the waiters advice and you will not go far wrong

Yelp
Worth the plane ticket to Istanbul. They have all their fish and seafood on ice in the fish market right outside. You pick your fish and they grill it for you.

Yelp
Take the waiter's advice. They know fish well and give good suggestion. We randomly picked this restaurant because we saw many local elders there. It must be something good. It turns out our decision is right. The fish is fresh and they cooked them well. The price is also reasonable.

Yelp
We went here for a small late lunch. We had two mezze, artichoke with orange and grilled eggplant salad and then some grilled jumbo shrimps and anchovies. The artichokes were very nice, the eggplant was nice but had a bit of cigarette taste about it, the shrimps were nice but overcooked, the anchovies were fine is a bit boring. All in all an okay experience.

Yelp
kadıköy'deki tek mekanım.. bir izmirli olarak is gezilerim icin istanbul'a geldigimde kadıköy'de kalıyorum. o zaman keşfettim. kalamarlari enfes, hersey ayarında pişmiş.. mis gibi balık yiyorsunuz. içki kullanmadığımdan hep cok uygun hesaplar ödedim. tek geçerim.

Yelp
pick a fish from the fresh selection at the monger upfront, have it filleted and grilled, grab a salad, size, some of the spicy sauce for the fish - a few beers. perfect formula for an awesome dinner in a casual, unassuming place. worth the ferry ride if you are staying on the European side. easily one of the better meals I experienced while in town - and would definitely return
