I had a great experience at Kadineli, a place that truly represents the heart of Cappadocia.
What makes this restaurant special is not only the food, but also its mission: it is a women-run cooperative that supports local women, preserves traditional recipes, and gives back to the community. Knowing that your meal directly contributes to a meaningful social project makes the experience even more rewarding.
The food was outstanding. The köfte were perfectly balanced, fresh, and full of flavor. The stuffed cabbage rolls (lahana sarması) were exceptional — tender, well-seasoned, and among the best I’ve tasted in Turkey.
The atmosphere is warm and authentic, the service kind and genuine, and everything feels homemade in the best possible way.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy excellent traditional Turkish food while supporting an inspiring social initiative.
