Kadoya Hotel

We were very impressed with the size of the room and bathroom. Plenty of storage which can be an issue in some Japanese hotels. Very clean and quiet. Fantastic location, shinkuku station minutes away and so many restaurants and bars so close by. Exemplary staff. So helpful! Communication before we arrived was efficient and very helpful. So lucky we got a 3N booking here! 2 lifts! Stored our luggage until 3pm check in!

What a great hotel! The location is awesome, just a short walk away from the main bus/train station, but not in a busy area. The hotel will store your bags for you when you arrive and also after you check out. I had a couple of packages delivered to the hotel before I arrived, and they had them waiting for me. They are quick to respond to emails and the front desk staff were very helpful. I picked a "whatever was available" room, and ended up with something that was quite big by Tokyo standards. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were excellent- not the terrible flat ones you always seem to get in Tokyo. The shower was a little too small for someone over 6ft tall, but I made due and it was fine. I opted for the breakfast included package, and the breakfast was a lot of food; they give you a voucher for the attached cafe, and you can select either a Japanese or a Western platter. There's a few convivence stores just a short walk away if you want something smaller.

We stayed here for 1 night after landing in Tokyo, before moving off to our next destination the following day. A 4 min walk from where the Airport Limousine bus from Narita Airport stops at Shinjuku station. Room was clean and pleasant. Would love to stay here again.

We love the location of this small hotel. Close to the train station and yet away from the noise. Lots of amenities provided. Room was clean and quiet. However, only a sight issue as the staff speaks very little English. Overal happy with our stay. We will definitely stay there again.

Location Very near to Shinjuku Station, probably a 5mins walk from the streets to the basement. There’s two Lawson and two 7-11 nearby to grab popular snacks. Lots of cafes nearby for value breakfast. Komeda, Pronto, Doutor etc. Room Booked a family room with 3 single beds. Spacious I can say, compared to newer hotels. Able to lay large luggage on the floor and still have space to walk around. Enjoy the massage chair after a long day outside. Bed is comfy but pillow too soft. However, you can get other pillows from the hotel lobby. There’s samples to test before deciding which to get. Toilet tends to smell when dry. Unsure if coming from the drainage. Otherwise is ok after showering. Sound proofing within the floor is alright but not from the streets. Light sleepers may be affected by the frequent ambulance sirens and street noises if any. Stayed at Level 5. Facilities Level 1 lobby Variety of pillows - to request if none on the shelf Peppermint air diffuser - upon request Special shampoo and conditioner - upon request Personal cleansing items - help yourselves Level 3 2 washer and 2 dryer Drinks vending machine Ice dispenser Overall a great stay. Thumbs up to all the hotel staff with their excellent services.

The breakfast is horrible and tiny, small portions. Food is better at family mart. 1800yen for a toast, small croissant, 2 tiny sausage and a scoop of eggs with baby portion lettuce and not even a spoonful of potato salad. The rooms don’t get cool so you will need to get a fan. As for service they can’t recommend any other options to get to Narita airport except for one way…. The room is small but normal for Tokyo. For the price, I regret getting the breakfast and regret staying at this location. I would not recommend.

Kadoya Hotel's location and price here fantastic. The bed was slightly uncomfortable. I was so tired from my flight and exploring Tokyo in the heat I didn't mind much. Breakfast was appreciated but there was no selection other than a Japanese or Western choices. The scrambled eggs were undercooked and quite small. The sausages included were the size of cocktail sausages...Staff were always friendly.

Kadoya Hotel is an amazing location. It is 3mins flat walk from Shinjuku West gate. Room was generous given we had opted for the most affordable dble available that included breafast. I'll be honest and say that neither the Japanese breakfast or European Breakfast option we had over the 2 mornings we stayed were of the same standard of the hotel but the service in the Cafe and especially the hotel was great. We return their 2 mote times during our 3+ wk holiday in Japan (all 3 on different room types) so I'll be sure to review the remaining 2 more times for consistency of service and room evaluation. Pros: Convenient location near Shinjuku station. Room temperature can be adjusted by the room. Water pressure for shower was good. Liked additional pillow option. Cons: Room key is not card key. So need to leave the key at the front desk when going outside. Need to insert the room key by the door to enable the power in the room. So air conditioning was off and the room was very warm when I first got into the room. Overall I liked the hotel because location is important for me. I had non-smoking room but smelled it a little. I will need to stay the entire facility is non-smoking hotel.
