Kae Funk.

Love this place for an early afternoon chill-out whilst waiting for sunset. Have visited probably 50 times. Lately the prices have increased to levels which you would expect in a 5* resort which is a shame. There is an acrobat show after the sun goes down which is good but it could really do with being updated, the background music is dreadful and has never changed! There is a 300 room hotel opening next door which may or may not ruin the atmosphere here, only time will tell! But after all of that, the sunsets here are truly magnificent!

Jae Funk is a really nice beach for sunset party. We came over with a taxi like many other tourists and enjoyed a cold drink on the beach. There was a really cool dance show and great music

Beautiful scenery, great food, and great cocktails. Dj had my friends and I dancing the entire night. The staffs were very welcoming and professional. 5/5 will recommend

10.000 shilling entrance fee per person, nothing included in the price. Just a beach bar with LOUD music and Dj, full of people. It was cloudy and we did not see sunset. There are not other bars or restaurants close by. The drive was crazy with many wholes and bad roads, not worth the hipe…

If you're looking for a party vibe then this is the place for you 😃 music was good , drinks are strong and views and vibes are great! On the day I went there happened to be a mid week party so be prepared to pay for entry.

It's a pretty place. The sunset view there is worth it. The DJ is playing great music 🎵🎶... Unfortunately, it's one of the most expensive bars I have been to in Paje... The price does not match the quality of the food and drink.

Kae Funk is a really nice and very quiet place to stay. The beach is beautiful and there are not many people around. The Bungalows are lovely and a bargain for the price. You have to keep in mind though that there are no other restaurant options around except of the expensive Kae Funk Beach Bar. The service at the Kae Funk restaurant is really slow, even if you ask for an on time breakfast the night before when you need to leave early. Sometimes we waited for 2 hours to get our food. If you have to catch a flight don’t rely on the restaurant or the driver to be in time and plan at least 1 hour time buffer. Overall we would stay again because of the nice rooms and the quiet beach. The service times need to improve though!

This has been our best accommodation and location during our time in Zanzibar. We met nice people and had a lot of fun even if the weather was bad for one day. The hut is very nice and you have a view to palm trees and the sea. The food is great. The staff and manager super kind!!! Thanks for the great time.
