Kafé Globus

Food: ordered fish & chips. It came with the most delicious tarter sauce, pickles (gherkins) and fresh lemon. The fish & chips were a lovely nice portion (and I'm a Londoner so i have had good fish and chips to be a fair judge). The fish was fresh and tasty. We also had homemade carrot cake and good quality coffee. 2. Price: very decent price for Norway. I pay more in London. 139 NOK for fish &chips 3. Ambience: very hygge/cosy and chilled. Clean and modern with classic furniture

Fabulous place. Had the cod which was amazingly fresh and bursting with flavour. They have one of the best carrot cakes I have eaten. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Very charming and relaxed environment.

Same name, different ownership. Disregard the previously posted foods. Indian food now (small food menu). It’s actually not bad! Had the special vegetarian platter (with the mini dishes). Very tasteful and not disappointing.

Globus is on Storgata in the heart of Tromsø. They have a bar, kitchen and sometimes arrange Salsa nights or dancing nights. They have good coffee, and food too. They have a good seating area.

Nice place, food and staff. The Middle Eastern plate was a fairly big portion and the extra falafel was delicious. One of the best quality-price ratios in Tromsø.

Really good food, varied menu with dishes from all over the world, and pleasant staff. The prices really aren't bad either for the quality of the food and compared to Norwegian prices. The locales could be cozier, but all over, lovely place.

We had a wedding celebration in Globus restaurant. Starter, main course and the wedding cake was incredible!!! And service was excellent! They take good care of all customers and make your event unique) We were happy to spend time there💕

A great place to eat and relax. Delicious food options. Had the pumpkin soup and hubby tried the Arabic lentil soup, twice. We also previously tried the middle eastern plate and the Sri Lanka chicken sandwich. Simply yummy and perfect! Prices are just right. Globus is a nice cosy place with a very friendly and accommodating staff. Saw the waitress rearrange their couch/chairs for a group that came in with a stroller. On the food front they have good vegetarian options - we had the samosa which was decent, the Mediterranean plate with falafel, tabouleh, hummus etc was quite tasty as well. We also had a piece of cheese cake it was if I remember which was a tad bit sweet. Overall a great place, good food and service. Would go back if I was in the area. And yes they do have beer from mack's :)
