I've been visiting for seven years now Octoberfest in this place and every year I have comeback here.. Nice place with tasty food and live music.. Price a bit higher than another places but is worth it. I like Kafer and will comeback again. The best time with family is up to 5pm.. for a more fun is after 8pm..))

Don't let the cozy and intimate atmosphere fool you, this tent is a scene. Unlike the big traditional tents, opt for bottle service and caviar in addition to your tradition maß. This tent stays open late and so is a common destination as the bigger tents close. Book ahead to ensure entry.

Aufwändig geschmücktes Wiesn-Zelt mit aufmerksamem Service im Innenbereich. Hochpreisig. Über Preis/Leistung muss man hier nicht reden. Entweder man will ins Käfer-Zelt oder nicht. Wer sich für ersteres entscheidet, dem ist sowieso egal, ob er 100€ mehr oder weniger an dem Wiesn-Abend ausgibt. Sterneabzug gibt es allerdings wegen der zwar breiter werdenden Speisenauswahl, diese wird von Jahr zu Jahr in der Qualität jedoch schlechter. Besser hier wieder auf weniger Gerichte beschränken, die dafür aber in besserer Qualität angeboten werden können.

Im Käfer-Zelt trifft sich die Prominenz sowie die Reichen und Schönen. Ich liebe das Käfer! Besonders schön ist es hier bei gutem Wetter im Biergarten. Dann ist hier die Atmosphäre einfach herrlich. Das Essen schmeckt mir hier am besten, dazu ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis meiner Meinung nach sehr gut. Die Bedienungen sind hier alle top! Besonders Deniz hat uns hier bei einem eisgekühlten Champagner unseren Tag versüßt. Dazu gab es heiße Kässpätzle mit superfrischem Gurkensalat. Auch die anderen Gäste sind hier immer superlieb und aufmerksam. Wir freuen uns schon auf die nächste Wiesn im Käfer, wenn es wieder heißt: Ozapft is!

This "tent" is more of a Bavarian Alpine log cabin ski lodge and is where many celebrities and the Munich in-crowd (such as FC Bayern players) tend to congregate. Käfer is a well known quality brand of gourmet food locally in Munich and around the world which also results in the food being more expensive here than other tents. A huge bonus of this location is the party goes on longer and longer than the usual closing time for the other tents with the Käfer tent staying open until half past twelve in the morning with beer (or champagne). There is a popular souvenir to be purchased here which is the famous Käfer Wiesn-Haferl, which are decorated coffee cups that have a new design each year. Käfer is the high-end foodie tent at Oktoberfest---if there is such a thing. It's not a rowdy place where you stand and dance on benches. But it is a place to have lot's of beer over good food. The menu is arguably the most extensive (and expensive) at the Oktoberfest (try the roast duck!). The outdoor patio is THE place to be on a sunny day, it's extensive and has a good friendly vibe. If you want to eat inside, make sure you book a table months in advance! You can be outside without a reservation, just get there early or go mid-week.

Käfer in Munich is synonymous with the best of the best of brands in the gourmet food world. I live in Munich and although the Käfer tent at Oktoberfest is not where the young crowd gathers it is no less fun and certainly the most beautiful tent at the Wiesn. The food is AMAZING. The biergarten is awesome and usually open until after midnight when other tents close around 10. This is the smallest of the Oktoberfest tents but none the less fun :-).

Spent the afternoon in Kafer on the 19th. Great atmosphere, service and food. Would love to attend again next year.
