Excellent breakfast. Excellent coffee - delicious apple cinnamon pie - vegetable quiche. Excellent service - very respectful and friendly staff. They have outdoor seating with heaters. The employee is Louis Michael. More than wonderful.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely loved my visit to this coffee bar in the heart of Brussels! The indoor and outdoor seating options are fantastic, especially with a lovely view of the square. The coffee selection is impressive, featuring everything from slow brew to delicious lattes. The breakfast was just as good—fresh and flavorful. Plus, the service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy top-notch coffee!

We ordered yoghurt with musli. One of our order was the vegan choice. The portions were quite small. They have this as a menu including the orange juice which we didn’t prefer drinking. Staff got confused with our orders. Coffee was good but not outstanding. The atmosphere is nice and warm. Our expectations were higher when we looked at the reviews but the place was overall OK. We appreciate the place because of being pet friendly. They have a lovely dog inside.

You absolutely cannot miss this lovely cafe! Incredible from start to finish. Such friendly and welcoming staff. Menu is quality and even healthy. Great espresso drinks. Cozy interior with warm vibes. Outdoor seating is perfect for a nice day and on a quiet yet active street corner. Truly a great memory and experience from Brussels!

Lovely food, ambience and customer service. Enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish.

When I went there the only vegan pastry option they had left was a vegan and gluten free banana bread. It was good but nothing out of this world. I also took their 7 chakras spice blend which was nice. They have a huge terrace but you need to order at the counter either if you’re inside or outside.

Google
Good spot for coffee. On Friday morning it was crowded, so unfortunately all hand brew options were off the table which is a shame for a specialty coffee shop. Batch was good, pastry was ok, service and seating are great.

This place is near to the hotel I’m staying at and I had breakfast here for two days of my stay in Brussels. Their food is good and coffee is amazingly brewed. The ambience is very chill and staff are accommodating alongside the cute dog.

Yelp
This place is delicious, just go! The coffee is so smooth and well balanced. Their pastry is good too and they offer a variety of vegan options. The staff is nice and service is quick!

Yelp
Really lovely place near the centre with a very large outside patio and a smaller, more intimate inside area. All-vegetarian breakfast restaurant/coffee bar, with a few vegan options. Somewhat strange setup: you find a table, make note of your table number, line up for food at the counter, and they bring your order out. We visited on a Friday morning: it took 5 minutes in line to order and another 30 minutes for the food -- popular place. My wife & I each got the Vegan Rustic breakfast (€13), which comes with a nice dark bread, hummus, avocado, green tomato, and a choice of orange or apple juice, and a hot drink (we got doppio espresso). We also split a very nice vegan croissant (€2.50). The main food items were very simply but tasty and well-executed: the bread was hearty, the avocado was fresh, the hummus was well-made, and the tomatoes were fresh and juicy. Perhaps not the greatest deal given the portion you're getting, but we were content enough. Good spot for vegetarian and vegan breakfast.

Yelp
For some reason we missed the mascot bulldogs that hang around the cozy indoor seating! Regardless, it was a great stop for a cappuccino which I was offered with a free environmentally reusable "Billie" cup (sans lid). The spot inside was intimate and great for working; it was certainly filled with many a laptop-goer. If inside is too stuffy for you, then seating al fresco is available in the pleasant, airy cobbled stone square. The neighborhood coffee shops are always a draw and a lovely respite from hustle and bustle of the city, if one could ever describe Brussels in such a way.

Yelp
This place was great!! From the service to the food to the drinks, it was perfect as my friend and I were looking for a quick meal before we left. We got the quiche and they came with a salad and bread. Although we sat inside, there's outdoor seating and blankets for those that choose to sit outside.

Yelp
This place had a decent açaí bowl but the coffee was only so-so. Like many places in the vicinity, you order inside and they deliver your items to the table. In our case, outside. There wasn't anything bad about the place, but there wasn't anything great about it either. The outdoor seating was sufficient for our needs and since there was limited engagement with staff, I can only say it was adequate. The food did take a bit longer to arrive than expected, but we had coffee to keep us from going crazy while we waited. I will say, I like açaí bowls to have a little bit more granola or oats or some kind of grain, but it was tasty enough. Overall, I would say it is an ok place. I would definitely give it another try.

Yelp
Fantastic neighborhood coffee shop with a nice outside seating area and a cozy interior. They offer pastries. More importantly, their love for coffee shows. Great service too.

Yelp
High quality coffee cafe. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great vibe. Coffee was excellent and prepared properly. All the normal espresso based options but also Chemex, V60 pour overs etc. Multiple vegan options for pastry/breakfast/lunch. Staff was friendly. The epitome of a great European coffee spot.

Yelp
Loved it! I discovered coffee, more precisely: latte macchiatos! It was a first and I'm happy my first coffee experience got to be pleasant and tasty @ Kaffabar. Situated in a hidden square, like most things in Brussels, you have to look to find the hidden treasures. Very trendy, black and white, Kaffabar stands out in the midst of the appartements and parking lots @ Place Rouppe. Trendy doesn't mean cold and distant tho, there's a dog there willing to welcome you (or taking a nap) when you come in. All of this is just as nice addition to the very tasty coffee! The coffee, oh my! It's a delicacy, but I'm well aware that not all coffee shops are equal: Kaffabar has set the bar high, so I'm a bit reluctant to give other shops a try. Alas, the love of Yelp doesn't permit me to not open myself up to new coffee adventures, but I'll definitely become a duke @ Kaffabar. I highly recommend it. Oh and besides coffee, there's plenty of accompanying delicacy like vegan banana bread, cookies and more. The people there are also very nice: I'll never forget being offered watermelon on a hot day. That's a "geste" I'll fondly remember. TLDR? GOOD COFFEE. TRENDY PLACE. A MUST TRY.

Yelp
What a wonderful coffee shop in Belgium! It isn't very close to the touristy parts, but if you find yourself near it, I would highly recommend coming in! The workers were very, very nice and apologetic when the people in front of me were taking hours to order. (Which is sweet because it wasn't the workers fault at all). What I ordered: I got a latte and my boyfriend got a cappuccino. They were smooth and large potions! This would be a good place to study or work, although I could see it getting crowded sometimes. You can also order a lot of yummy, healthy food here!

Yelp
Do you like adorable mild mannered bulldogs, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and quality coffee? Then this is a good choice. Also the salmon and broccoli quiche was nice tasting and substantial. Came as a little meal with salad and bread. If it wasn't my last day in Brussels I'd definitely go back.

Yelp
What a discovery! I came here with a couchsurfer that wanted coffee with the chocolate we bought from Mary's and I was a tad upset they didn't have any hot chocolates available. Their list of hot chocolates were quite impressive and knowing that Belgium is famous for their chocolate one would assume their hot chocolate was on a whole new level. Unfortunately, that didn't happen and so I ordered a cafe latte and loved how creamy and smooth it was. I vacuumed it per usual. There is free wifi and outdoor and indoor seating.

Yelp
Definitely a bit off the beaten path for the average tourist, but I sought this place out based on other Yelp reviews. It's compact, with about 12 cafe tables inside, but the vibe is wonderful. Big windows allow you to look outside to the street and small square. Credit cards accepted. Food: They had quiche along with a number of other savory options as well as pastries to satisfy your sweet tooth. The apple cake is a must have! Teas are served with a timer to let you know when it's done brewing. A small biscuit comes on the side of every hot drink. Cost: My pot of oolong, and bottle of still water, and an apple cake ran me about €10. Overall: Not a true co-working space as not all the tables had access to power. However, they do have free WiFi and it IS a great spot to work for a little while if you're lucky to get a table next to the outlet (which I did).

Yelp
We came because we saw Marcel, the English Bulldog mascot of the coffee shop, in all the photos. We were missing our 2 English Bulldog Grandogs after 2 weeks in Europe and needed to come pet a cute dog while we had coffee. Marcel did not disappoint! The incredibly nice owner and the delightfully strong cups of coffee we had didn't disappoint either. It's the kind of coffee we love and rarely found in our 2 weeks in Ireland, France & Belgium and we loved it! Of course we had full discussion with the owner about the crazy life with English Bulldogs and their interesting peculiarities, which we've also missed, too. They've got a full coffee and tea menu to satisfy everyone's tastes and it's a gorgeous space that's very comfortable to spend time in with WiFi.

Yelp
Walked in, greeted by an English Bulldog. He is very funny, he just slowly walks around and greets everyone. My mocha was fantastic, orange juice very fresh, the Yogurt was clean and the fruit was also fresh.

Yelp
Wonderful breakfast to start our day! The goat cheese quiche is fantastic. I definitely recommend a stop here for great pastry and coffee.

Yelp
This was a nice change of pace from the Sun Cafe across the street. There you are all but ignored, but KaffaBar has a super friendly staff and very good quality food and coffee. Seating is plentiful while not being overly crowded, it's convenient to nearby sights, and it's a relaxing atmosphere.

Yelp
5 out of 5 no doubt. Carefully poured coffee. Moist cakes. Amazing service. Will come back.

Yelp
Wonderful place to start your morning! It's not in the heart of the touristy part of Brussels, so it's quite popular among the locals, as well as the tourists who aren't easily lured into the traps near The Grand Place. It's extremely cozy, and it's perfect for coffee (hot or cold), tea (they have a huge selection!) and hot chocolate. They even have some coffee cocktails! I'm a big fan and I'd definitely come back!

Yelp
Amazing coffee and atmosphere! Def my #1 coffee spot in my 8 day Europe trip. One of the best chai lattes I've had!! They have so many choices and everything we got were amazing. The baristas are super kind and knowledgeable. You see people working solo or in groups and people socializing - it's a great place to be to feel connected to people :)

Yelp
New hipster coffee place in the city centre. After getting welcomed by a British bulldog, worth trying the chocolate cake. The salmon and the veggie sandwiches are worth tasting. Tea comes with an alarm system to know when tea is ready to pour. Service is friendly and super fast.
google avatar

Stephen H.

Yelp
The owner has a very friendly British bulldog who is to the left of the door as you walk in. He's knowledgeable and passionate about coffee, and he's got everything from your Italian style to your V60, Chemex, and Aeropress. It's absolutely packed, particularly on a cold day in February, and a lot of us were sharing tables and spaces. There's a reason that this place was packed and the other places nearby had plenty of seating: great product, service, and staff. Not far from Midi if you've got a bit of time before your train.

Yelp
Staying in Bruxelles with the need of having a good coffee I have stopped at KaffaBar. I Had a very good coffee and a great croissant at a great atmosphere. Nice Place to stay a couples of hours enjoying life. You can sit inside as well as Outside at a little Terrace. Next Time I am in Bruxelles I will certainly come back
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious, well made coffee. The croissants were amazing. We had a flat white and an aeropress and 2 croissants for 12€. The service was great, and we enjoyed sitting outside.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, great lemonade and cold brew. Fun outdoor seating. Friendly servers, great new spot all in all!

Yelp
Very enjoyable ambiance, friendly staff and prompt service. The food was tasty and the cappuccino was perfectly made

Veronica H.

Yelp
We had great coffee and service here. Two of us ordered quiche and received a side salad and bread to accompany it. My husband ordered an açaí bowl and it was really tasty and large! Also, they have a bulldog in the shop
google avatar

Jamie L.

Yelp
Best coffee (it's about time Brussels got onto it), delicious food (we had the vegan chocolate pie), and nice atmosphere (nice owner, and amazing British bulldog greeting). Highly recommended.
google avatar

Sandy M.

Yelp
If you're someone who loves good coffee and/or bulldogs this spot is for you! I'm actually a fan of both, so it's no wonder why Kaffabar is one of my favourite places for coffee in Brussels. Free wifi, third wave coffee and last but not least, Marcel (the most lovable English bulldog) seem to be an equation for success.
google avatar

Yelp
Great and hip new place in Brussels. Perfectly crafted coffees and tasty deconstructed sandwiches. Coffees come with a sweet bite which is cool. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.

Rozan J.

Yelp
Really pleasant discovery in my very own city - even though I don't live downtown I can't believe I hadn't heard of this spot before! Peaceful setting, excellent coffee and really nice staff!

Yelp
Just when you think you've seen it all you find this coffee bar. By far the friendliest coffee bar ever. The stuff is awesome and they sooooooooo helpful and guide you through the plethora of coffee tea and chocolates. And the stuff is great!!! This is truly a 5 star place.

Brecht V.

Yelp
Best way of waking up in town. The smell of fresh coffee and the sound of the steaming coffee machine. Try the granola yoghurt fruits!
