Kaffee Frech

We have been to Kaffee Frech a couple times when visiting Zug and look forward to coming back when we are in the area again. The atmosphere is cozy and the restaurant is clean. Peggy is super sweet and welcoming and we appreciate the love she puts into our Flat Whites. They are absolutely delicious!!! We also love the Avocado toast and protein plate that they offer. Thanks Peggy!!

My favourite coffee shop in Zug, where one can meet up with some friends or get some work done alone. Trendy vibe, friendly staff, and great coffee and coffee beans.

Quick and was order process, nice inside and outside seating and pretty good food :) We tried Feta/Avocado Toast and Smoked Salmon and it was very nice. Our personal highlight was the waffle with vanilla icecream and chocolate

This was such a cozy friendly spot! Love the seating they had outside. I only had a kombucha as it was a quick visit but would definitely try the food next time because it looks so good 😭

I ordered a standard black coffee and waited for 30 minutes. When I reminded the staff, my coffee still didn’t arrive. After 40 minutes, I had to leave and went to the counter to ask for a refund. They told me they couldn’t refund me and could only give me a voucher. I explained that I don’t want to come back to a place where I have to wait 40 minutes for a simple black coffee. Still, they refused to refund me and just let me go. Very unprofessional and frustrating. I definitely won’t be coming back.

Cozy place with a friendly service. Overrated prices but this is Switzerland. One of (if not the only one) in Zug for a nice coffee with friends on weekends. You and can order and pay by phone and this is great.

Unfortunately they do not accept reservations so we had to wait approx 20 Minutes and got only a small narrow space at the window. The coffee was delicious. Would definitely come back for a coffee! The bread of the avocado toast could be wayy thinner. Wouldn’t order the toast again. Next time I will try the waffles :)

All the waiters look incredibly despressed. There’s no atmosphere, no fun in this place. The tall blond old woman is also incredibly rude and unfriendly. This place looks more like a factory kitchen rather than a Caffè.

Stopped by for a coffee. Inside is bustling - looks like a popular breakfast place on a Saturday morning. The tables, even outdoor tables, have QR codes you can order from. Service was excellent, the cappuccino had nice latte art.

Fantastic food, service and coffee. The macchiato was simple yet fantastic. The berry waffle was amazing. The banana wheat beer was a great way to finish it all off. The decor and environment was very nice as well.

Kaffee shop on ground floor of Gubelhof Suites. I feel comfortable here being alone in Europe and not speaking the language for the first time. Maybe it's the American Jazz/ funk being played. Service is pleasant and coffee is good too!
