In my eyes, after trying most of the local roasters in Leipzig, this one has the best beans you can buy in this city. The variety of roasts and beans is incredible. I personally love their light roasted filter beans from Finca La Ortiga (Costa Rica) which is a great cup that is a bit more on the funky side. Service is super friendly and exceptional, there is also a wide range of coffee paraphernalia, which is dangerous to get lost in and the served filter/v60 coffee is just amazing. If you are more into Chemex, or AiroPress you can get your coffee prepped this way (and others) as well. 100%recommended.

Charming little place that roasts their own coffee. My flat white was very tasty, there was a choice of two varieties, and my partner was extremely happy with his filter coffee. A look at the shelves showed a wide range of beans to take home. Will return the next time I'm in Leipzig

This is by far the best coffee I've ever tasted anywhere! The owner personally roasts every batch, grinds it on demand and brews it to perfection. I've seen him dump out cups that he felt weren't up to standard, and watched him hand pick inferior beans out of his roasting batch. Amazing quality, friendly service, and the speak English! Don't expect a quick visit though. The staff here take their time and focus on the customer they are serving. It's worth the wait!

Yes! Best coffee in Leipzig. Disclaimer, it was our first coffee, but it was so good we tried to go back at the end of the day...and they were closing. We had to go down the block to another cafe (which was fine). We both had cappuccino and one of the chocolate shortbread cookies (at the three year olds request).
