My husband and I had a delicious Swiss mocha—we had never encountered this drink other than in Iceland. It’s a hot chocolate with a shot of espresso. It was divine! Lovely, homey interior that I imagine would be a haven for hygge during the winter. The barista was so sweet and friendly to us!

Followed Google reviews and didn’t disappoint. Easy to find short walk from cruise terminal. Had Lamb Soup with delicious homemade bread accompaniment. Great flavour and delicious vegetables. Friendly service and excellent washrooms

Up a flight of stairs next to the hot dog stand on the main strip in Akureyri and you will experience fast service and reasonably priced items- for Iceland. Delicious rotating options for vegans- I devoured and apple cake and oat latte. My partner made short work of the bacon, eggs and toast.

Kaffi Ilmur might just be the coziest coffee shop in Akureyri! It's wonderfully located just a few steps off the main shopping street, making it super convenient. Housed in a charming old building, it offers plenty of comfortable seating and a really welcoming atmosphere. The menu is impressive and should appeal to almost anyone, featuring salads, pasta, main courses, a tempting range of baked goods, plus bagels and paninis. A perfect spot to relax and recharge. Highly recommended!

Cozy, delicious, and comfortable dine-in spot. The Icelandic lamb soup and salmon pasta were excellent 😋

Charming cafe for breakfast. Great portion sizes and tasty food. Really cosy atmosphere too and there's patio heaters outside if you wish for some fresh air. I visited two days in a row as I enjoyed it so much.

Nice little cafe, cosy inside and nice views outside. Food was okay, good sized portions, served fast. The English breakfast featured eggs, bacon, sausages and baked beans. Service is the usual for Iceland: efficient but a little cold.

We ordered Shakshuka, English Breakfast and Bagel with Jam & CreamCheese. The food is fresh, tasty and absolutely worth the money. Highly recommend for tourists
