Kaffi Krús

We stopped here for dinner after a long day of travels. Also our last night in Iceland. We found the atmosphere delightful and charming... cozy little place with an ecclectic collection of tables and chairs, as well as an upstairs seating area. Our server was a wonderful young man (from Hungary) and was very helpful with the menu choices. He had a great sense of humor. The food was excellent! Fish of the day ... salmon and a smoked salmon salad. It was a wonderful place to finish up the day. It also got very busy as the early evening wore on!!

We visited the place twice during our stay in Iceland for dinner. There is a wide range of food to choose from fish, butgers or pizza. You also have a great selection of sweets to have with your coffee. We were a group of 16 people and we found a spot to sit both times (split in two). Prices were average for Iceland so expect to pay around 30+ euros per person. We had fish of the day, which was Ling, the second time was Salmon, but we didn't try. It was served with grilled vegetables, and it was really tasty. We also tried Tower Burger. It was excellent with a strong taste of garlic, which we loved, but if you dont like garlic, maybe choose something else. Finally, we tried the signature pizza. It was also tasty but a bit too heavy. If you order, eat while it's still warm.

It was a tasteful experience, we were really happy to get there and eat something so good ! The waiter and waitress were really kind. The food was amazing, the ambiance calm. Iceland never disappoints, thank you, takk fyrir and merci, Iceland never disappoints.

Stopped here for a late lunch on one of our days out exploring, we had the Brie starter and I had the lamb shanks and my partner had a burger. The food was absolutely exquisite and I would highly recommend this place.

Waiter (new kid of the year) could hardly tell what was inside the cakes or show it because he didn’t knew. Coffee was without art and looks like something made at a buffet. It also had grains inside. 🥴🤢 I would go elsewhere! I have been here every year for the past 4 years this was terrible! Not coming back again.

Highly recommend. My local host loves this place, and I agree! Per the reco, I really enjoyed the lamb, it was filling, conforming and the flavors were very nice! As a 2 floor place, there is a lot of seating and has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The family around me enjoyed the pizza which looked great. Also there are lots of tempting desserts in the front and coffee too. There is the convenience of ordering online if you choose! Free street parking too. Enjoy your meal here!

This is an amazing place. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The coffee is great and they have great variety of food and cakes.
