I visited for dinner, and chose the fish of the day. This was really tasty and well cooked, the whole dish was balanced and satiating. The beer was nice and the atmosphere was lovely.

Now I know why Pedro Pascal chose this place to visit. I heard stories from other people about this place. I finally came on a gloomy rainy day and OMG that was spectacular. I'm a sucker for eggs benedict and these were the best I ever had. And even though I'm a fan of Braud-style cinammon rolls, the soft buns with frosting here were a dream. Yassss! Will come again.

Kaffi Vest is located in a building that used to house a pharmacy. They have kept some cabinets and other items from that time which help lend the place a relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff. The coffee is good, even great as they claim themselves, and beer and wine are available if you’re in the mood for that. In addition to bread and pastries which are served all day they have lunch and dinner menus consisting mostly of sandwiches, burgers and soup. Update: Kaffi Vest has now become a victim of their own success - the place is constantly busy and now it can take up to 20 minutes to get an espresso. Order drip coffee if you're in a hurry.

Delicious food and friendly staff make this restaurant a great choice. The onion soup is rich and flavorful, and the fish is perfectly cooked. Highly recommended for a satisfying meal.

Very few times have I given a review of a restaurant while I'm still in country on holiday...this restaurant deserves its 5 stars. The service was super quick and helpful. The lattes were amazing... The French Onion Soup and Burgundy Beef were chef's kiss delicious on a chilly evening, and they made room for us in a packed house. If you're in the area, in the mood for a delicious dinner and amazing lattes please go here. Possibly the best French Onion Soup outside of France or Quebec or anywhere that we've been to and I ALWAYS order it if it's on the menu and some of best lattes ever. Anywhere. You heard it here! A++++

A great place for brunch and or coffee. We came here for a holiday and our place were close by and so we had our bunch here. Lovely staff and food. For Iceland’s women’s day, they also gave a free mimosa! Solid 4.

This is a wonderful relaxing place for an evening meal. The staff is very polite and friendly, and the food is fantastic! The grilled salmon is particularly delicious. Will definitely be returning often. It is also located fortuitously close to the sea and the university which is great.

A very good bistro/cafe/restaurant. A small but well determined menu offering traditional burgers, steaks and fish. The menu was all in Icelandic and most of the clientele were locals but everyone was very friendly and happy to go through the menu. The food and beer were excellent. The price was typically Icelandic.
