A great place for brunch and or coffee. We came here for a holiday and our place were close by and so we had our bunch here. Lovely staff and food. For Iceland’s women’s day, they also gave a free mimosa! Solid 4.

This is a wonderful relaxing place for an evening meal. The staff is very polite and friendly, and the food is fantastic! The grilled salmon is particularly delicious. Will definitely be returning often. It is also located fortuitously close to the sea and the university which is great.

A very good bistro/cafe/restaurant. A small but well determined menu offering traditional burgers, steaks and fish. The menu was all in Icelandic and most of the clientele were locals but everyone was very friendly and happy to go through the menu. The food and beer were excellent. The price was typically Icelandic.

Kaffi Vest is located in a building that used to house a pharmacy. They have kept some cabinets and other items from that time which help lend the place a relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff. The coffee is good, even great as they claim themselves, and beer and wine are available if you’re in the mood for that. In addition to bread and pastries which are served all day they have lunch and dinner menus consisting mostly of sandwiches, burgers and soup.

Cozy place with warm atmosphere that serves pretty good coffee as well as wines, other drinks, snacks, homebaked pastries and a few more substantial dishes every day ... that include salads, tarts, soups and burgers. When the weather permits you can also sit outside. 😊😊

It's a nice place to share a coffee or a meal.. I come very often but the quality of service and products changes a lot between visits. Other than that it's a cozy place.

The place has the nicest people working here! The coffee, food and the best people make this a fantastic place! We were here everyday while we were in Reykjavik. The people here went out of their way to help us out! A very special place for my husband and I!

Great little coffee shop, they serve a delicious brunch. The staff dose not seem to like tourists so much but that's most places in Iceland that are not located in super touristic areas I guess. A little expensive but everything is a little over priced here so what the hell, you only live once right? Well worth checking out for a coffee and desert or brunch.
