Great little spot and would definitely recommend. The food was really good quality and cooked well. The attentive waitress was good too but sometimes away from sight. The ambiance is amazing for the centre of town too. Crisp cold salad which was a surprise and shows the attention to detail.

Best restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life. If you're visiting Puerto de la Cruz, you cannot miss this place. My family and I ate 3 days in a row because we simply could not get enough. The service is exceptional, with the kindest, most welcoming wait staff. As for the food, you MUST get the beef tenderloin with port wine sauce. We were also lucky enough to have the rabbit which the chef cooked to perfection. I do not often write reviews, but I could not wait to celebrate this amazing establishment. They deserve all the flowers!

Food was great, excelllent quality, modern dishes, amazing atmosphere in this narrow alley. Good choice of wine. Service was attentive. Simply recommendable.

At first glance, the menu at Kafka may appear a little bare with a small range of options when compared with other restaurants but please don't be fooled. Each item is prepared to perfection. We started with Deep fried shrimp served with Japanese mayonnaise and Ham croquette potatoes, both of which were mouthwateringly delightful. We followed this with a brace of steaks, my wife's well done with a port sauce and mine medium rare with green pepper sauce. Wow. Just wow! The steak is the nicest I have eaten in Puerto with the medium rare just melting in my mouth and the peppercorns in the sauce so crisp they exploded when bitten, releasing a delightfully intense flavour without being overpowering. The port sauce on Michelle's steak was so rich that it should have been interfering in US government policy rather than delighting my wife with its taste, but here we are... For dessert Michelle ran with the Mango profiteroles and I tried the Crema Canarias... both of which were the perfect way to round off a genuinely lovely eating experience. I can highly recommend Kafka to any steak lovers or anyone that enjoys fine food. The service was fast and friendly and disabled access is not a problem.

I recently dined at KAFKA and had a mixed experience. While the ambiance was pleasant and the service was attentive, I was disappointed with the preparation of the fish dish I ordered. I opted for the dorada, but unfortunately, it arrived at the table with the intestines still inside. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, there was no apology or offer to replace the dish. This oversight detracted significantly from an otherwise enjoyable meal.

Excellent service, perfectly prepared food. The Canary rabbit was great, tender beautifully served but the souce was overwhelming bit to sweet and to heavy. Although dining in was very pleasant experience, small adjustments would make it a REAL five star restaurant. Excellent wine card.

Wonderful food. Modern take on Spanish and Canarian . Good portion size, and so delicious! We came here on the recommendation of a local who said it was one of their favourite Restaurants that had local Canarian food done excellently. We loved it so much ! We spent a week on the island and tried a bunch of different places (that weren't on yelp or that we forgot to take pic of and create a business for) and while there were many good places , this was by far the BEST PLACE we ate at and with the most reasonable prices for what the level of gourmet cooking that it is! It says $$$ on the yelp page for it but it's really only $$. 10-17€ for mains which included vegetables most often or potatoes. The appetisers were 4-7€ also very delicious and the desserts were 4-6€ . For the area which is touristy these were average prices for a dinner or lunch but once again the food here was so much better!!! I got the same fish both times the sea bream ... A whole fish seasoned wonderfully with course salt and lemon ! Super moist and fresh and amazing !! with some veg and potatoes . Both times they were out of the paella but I'm sure it would be amazing there !!! Our whole party loved their food! -Steak with gorazola sauce , -Catalan local fish, -turbot fish in a clam sauce (with full clams) -my wonderful sea bream! Appetisers were great steak - veggis and goat cheese ! -Lovely desserts but so stuffed could have done without. -Great local wine !
