Kahama Hotel

BE AWARE and stay away from this hotel. The worst place you can imagine to spend your money. I got assigned the wrong room with torn beddings , cold shower and a washroom that was non-functional. Upon checking in I went straight to the reception and explained the situation. Long story short the manager pleaded I stay and he would sort things out and give my refund . He seemed pleasant enough to be trusted but, on my check out he bailed out on me and would not respond to my calls. Thankfully I used Mastercard and took lots of photos for proof. Never going there again. STAY AWAY.

They invaded my privacy at 7:30am and opened my room while i was in bed, They showed no effort to resolve my concern and did not understand the gravity of their mistake(as they did not care to handle it swiftly) All they offered was "sorry it was a mistake, i ment to open the next room not yours, thats why i rushly closed it back and went about my duties like nothing happened". I had to go to the reception downstairs to raise concern as they did not care to address their "mistake". Nothing was done rather than a plain miscontrued sorry that they did not mean to. Shame!! I am never staying here again and would not advise you to if your safety and privacy are violated and no one seems to understand the gravity of the violation.

My always to go hotel when I visit Nairobi. Best staff and clean rooms. Safe

Well situated close to the Nairobi CBD.You can walk into town quite easily and the service was amazing

Really impressed with this hotel, tucked away in a quiet street, which we stayed in the night before returning to the UK. A very clean and comfortable room and good food and service in the pleasantly-presented restaurant. The site is gated and there is a night porter. Asante sana - we will be back next year.|(Guests be aware that there are two long flights of steps to negotiate.)

Description:||My stay at Kahama Hotel Nairobi's Bed and Breakfast was exceptional. The rooms were cozy and well-appointed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was delicious, and the facilities, including the fitness center and outdoor terrace, were top-notch. Overall, excellent value for money. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay in Nairobi.

Rooms are nice and clean, but hot water didn’t work. Breakfast is a bit overpriced

I was given a check in for 5am but told I only have the day till 9 pm. I left briefly for a meeting at 9am only to return to find my belongings out of the room. Seeking explanation I was told to pay again if I wanted to use the room. Hence I only spent 3 hours for a full price payment. ||In addition the hot shower & tv was not operational & beddings needs a make over. Definitely not a hotel I'll recommend not even to my enemies.
