Kahanda Kanda Galle

We loved it here. The place is perfect for a relaxation retreat holiday surrounded by the jungle. We stayed in a room with private pool (Araliya) which was just stunning. All the details were superbly arranged, the service impeccable and the food delicious. We highly recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast with hoppers! They also catered for our gluten free requests. Good massage and friendly staff, including the owner who came to say hi and gave us a few tips for the area. We will surely come back!

Absolutely beautiful place We visited Kahanda Kanda last weekend, and it was an absolutely beautiful experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly nice, polite, and caring, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere and ambience of the property were truly relaxing. We stayed in a room with a private pool and it had a great view. I only wish we had more time to spend there it’s definitely a place we would love to return to.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about KK Galle. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and special. The setting is just stunning — surrounded by tea fields and lush greenery, it feels like you’ve stepped into a little paradise away from the world. Our Araliya villa was gorgeous and super comfortable, with amazing attention to detail. The private pool was the perfect spot to relax and take in the views. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and genuinely went out of their way to make us feel at home. The food was another highlight — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented every single time. They are also giving complimentary shuttle service to KK beach as well. It’s the perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and treat yourself to a bit of luxury. We left feeling completely relaxed and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend this beautiful spot! 💛

Wow - 5+ on every aspect. Sadly we only stayed here 1 night but it is still so memorable. Attention to detail on everything from the minute we arrived - warm welcome (and we were early because of Cyclone Ditwah still blowing when we left Galle), delicious coffee and welcome drink. Room was spacious (Tea) with area for sitting outside to watch birds or purple faced monkeys (a rarity). Food was excellent with great views out to the tea plantation below. Good sized pool to leisurely cool off (20m). Overall, a great stay - one of our favorites during our 1 month sister trip driving around Sri Lanka

A truly relaxing stay in a stunning setting. The property is beautiful and perfectly designed for switching off and enjoying the surroundings. What really made the experience special was the warmth and attentiveness of the staff — especially the housekeeping team led by Rohan, whose care and attention to detail were exceptional. A place that makes you feel genuinely looked after from start to finish.

This was an amazing stay! The views were so beautiful, the rooms were amazing, and the staff were so wonderful and accommodating. It was just a 30 minute ride to the fort which the resort had set up for us. Service here was amazing, they brought drinks to our private pool, checked in about meals with us, and stayed up to date on our day to day plans to give us the best experience. The food here was amazing as well, plenty of options for adventurous eaters or for non adventurers. My wife and I would recommend this resort to anyone who plans to visit Sri Lanka, it was so peaceful and located in a perfect place to take a couple of day trips from!

My wife and I spent two days here in December. It is a heavenly spot overlooking a lush landscape.||A special thanks to Chanaka and his team. They are friendly, good humoured and highly competent.||The dining is excellent and everything exudes good taste and refinement. A wonderful experience overall.

We had the most fantastic time at KK. The staff were so attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful and so clean. The food was great too. It was the perfect start to our honeymoon. Highly recommend.
