Had dinner here yesterday. From beautiful atmosphere, nice vibes, terrace sitting, to delicious food and impeccable service - all meet at this place. Really loved the roasted duck - perfect crispy skin and juicy meat. Eel sushi roll was so fresh and light, and wagyu dumplings so flavorful. Ended dinner with well balanced home made sorbet. 100% recommended to a visit

There is no question about the superior quality of the NED Hotel and its KIAI restaurant is no exception. We went for Steak & Sushi night at the occasion of a romantic night. The food and cocktails were delicious and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere of the restaurant, while the hotel lobby and cafe can be very busy with locals on Friday night, was also cozy and quiet. The reasonable prices, in comparison to other steak houses, plus the alcoholic option just complete the experience, i.e. 228QAR regular or 328QAR with Alcohol and 428QAR with bubbly. A must to try!

Went to enjoy lunch at Kaia. Got the maki roll as an appetizer and followed with the Chirashi poke bowl ( my favorite one) and coconut cake as a finale. Kaia has a wonderful atmosphere, cozy, private, and relaxing. The music is played at just the right volume, creating a pleasant vibe without being intrusive. The service is outstanding. The staff are polite, attentive that making the entire experience feel warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!

We had an exceptional dinner at Kaia in The Ned, an evening that left a lasting impression. The atmosphere is refined yet inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and memorable meal. The service was outstanding. Ms. Jerica attended to us with warmth, grace, and attentiveness, making us feel both cared for and completely at ease. Her genuine hospitality elevated the entire experience. The food was remarkable. As pescatarians, we were delighted by a menu that not only embraced our preferences but celebrated them with creativity and depth of flavor. Each dish, crafted by Chef Marsan, was beautifully presented and full of character, reflecting both artistry and passion. Altogether, Kaia delivered on every front, ambience, service, and cuisine. It was a seamless and unforgettable dining experience, and one we look forward to enjoying again. Highly recommended for those seeking exceptional dining in Doha, Qatar. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had my solo dinner here in Kaia which is a hidden treasure of The Ned Hotel in Doha. The quality of every dish I ordered was outstanding. They use really fresh ingredient and the Chef exactly knows golden ratio for maki(roll) -rice and other ingredient. Also, what made my dinner at Kaia even more special was Ms. Jerica and Mr. Yogi's knowledge and exceptional warm sprit of hospitality. I can confidently say this is one of the best Japanese restaurant in Doha.

We tried Kaia based on the good reviews and my husband loves steak but he didn’t like their food he said most the food are spicy and they didn’t even asked if he likes spicy or to reduce it. I also noticed all the food we ordered even just the steam siomai has sauce something my daughter didn’t like. We tried to salvage the food from being soaked with the sauce so we can eat them. As for my food I chose the business lunch it’s generous serving and worth it. I ordered soup, sushi, katsu and mango pudding for only Qr130. The only thing I didn’t like was the kitchen staff were chatting very loud and because it’s an open kitchen and no music at all that’s all we could hear while having our lunch they totally ruined the vibe.

I am writing to share my feedback regarding a recent visit to your restaurant on 11 Dec 2025, which unfortunately fell far short of expectations. I had made an advance table reservation for 7:30pm to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We arrived early at 7:15pm, only to be told that despite having a reservation, we still needed to join a long queue. While inconvenient, we accepted this and waited approximately 20 minutes before reaching the counter to make advance payment for dinner. After making payment, we were informed that our reserved table had already been taken by another group who had walked in. We were then asked to wait while a table was arranged for us. At this point, we waited an additional 30 minutes, standing and increasingly frustrated, only to be told that no suitable table was available. Eventually, we were seated at the far end of the lobby area, away from the main dining space. This meant we could not enjoy the live band, ambience, or overall experience that we had specifically chosen your restaurant for. Given that this was a birthday celebration, this was extremely disappointing. Additionally, when making the reservation, we were informed that a complimentary dessert would be provided for my husband’s birthday. This was never offered or acknowledged during our visit. Overall, the experience reflected poor reservation management and a lack of consideration for customers who had planned ahead for a special occasion. Sadly, this has left us with a very negative impression, and I doubt we will be returning. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and review your reservation and seating processes to prevent other customers from experiencing the same disappointment.
