Kaikoura Helicopters

Thanks very much for the awesome flight Aaron & Darren. Totally stunning day thanks to Aaron's suggestion of bringing our trip forward a day. Scenery equally as stunning with snow capped mountains as a fantastic back drop for viewing whales. Seeing the Humpbacks was the total highlight and the Sperm whales a bonus. Highly recommend Kaikoura Helicopters and definitely be back for another flight. Cheers guys.

A brilliant experience. Aaron was a great pilot who gave a very interesting and informative commentary. We were lucky enough to see three sperm whales, a couple of orcas and some dolphins. We appreciated their contact with us beforehand, suggesting an earlier time, based on the forecast. We had absolutely perfect conditions. A great experience!!

Absolutely friendly and professional team! Cal was a great pilot and did his absolute best to give us the the best possible experience despite the weather challenges. Couldn't land on the mount (that's winter weather for you!) but saw 2 x sperm whales and 5 x humpback whales and dolphins. I found them very reasonably priced too.

Aaron was a wonderful pilot! My fiancee and I booked the picnic landing and couldn't have been more satisfied with the experience. The food was impressive and complete with cold drinks. The service was excellent, and they called us to move our flight up due to oncoming weather. They were proactive, responsive, and very friendly. Thanks so much!

Do not walk.. SPRINT! And get yourself onto a flight with Kel! Organised by the fabulous Gail, this was truly a once in a lifetime experience! We were in such safe and wonderful hands with Kel on our flight, and felt so VIP!!! Unbelievable scenery and the landing at mount Fyffe summit was just breath taking!!!! Thank you guys, the memories you helped us create will be treasured forever!!!

Amazing trip. Everything from start to finish. Team was open and honest. Even calling before hand to see if we wanted to go earlier for better conditions to see the whales. Amazing trip 10/10 recommend. Will definitely be booking another trip!

Hubby and I had the most amazing experience yesterday - we went on a helicopter, had a picnic on Mount Fyffe, then had a short scenic flight before returning. Aaron was a very friendly and informative pilot, leaving us to picnic while he went for a walk further up the mountain, then spotting wild deer on the way back. The food was delicious, with very generous portions. Various drink options were provided. A fabulous holiday memory. Thanks Aaron.

My partner and I did the Heli-picnic mountain tour during our visit to Kaikoura. We were beyond impressed with the experience. Aaron was an amazing pilot and his commentaries during the flight was brilliant and informative. The views of the mountains and ocean were spectacular. The team made sure to cater to our needs and the food that were given to us was delicious. Aaron also made sure to give us our alone time during the picnic and my partner found that this was the perfect time to propose to me. The whole setting was intimate and memorable.
