I stopped by 2 shave ice spots today in Kailua and this one exceeded the other immensely! Great flavor options and Steve, who was running the joint was super friendly and helpful. They have way more than just shave ice, a lot of cool merchandise also. Mahalo!

The best place to get Shave Ice in my opinion but that's not all this store has to offer. If you need fishing supplies they've got it. How about some local gifts for family in the mainland they got it, guys need new shaving creams, razors, balms or hair products they got that too. Just go have a look and you'll be happy you did.

Besides being a charming and interesting shop with unusual objects & gifts, Kailua General Store has the best Shave Ice we have ever had. Great home grown and home made flavors by the owner. We had lilikoi (yellow passion fruit), coconut and lychee nut. All delicious! Can’t wait to come back!

This place has the best shave ice on the island. The house made flavors are so delicious and clean. Not artificial at all. They also do musubi which was delicious! Definitely am a repeat customer. They lose a star because they are not very friendly. Maybe they dont like tourists?
