Overall okay. The salad was pretty good! It was very refreshing. The dressing was really good and the smoked fish was complimenting the greens. The fried rice was subpar for sure. The rice was hard and it would be painful to get stuck in our teeth. The scramble Sammie was also only okay. It was pretty bland overall. The coffee was okay. Wasn’t my favorite. I wouldn’t recommend the coffee here. It was a cute place but nothing too amazing about it.

Came for lunch and loved it. Cute and cozy, my grilled fontina and cheddar melt was perfect. My partner had the spicy Korean chicken sandwich- not spicy but great nonetheless. Oh, and the sea salt chocolate chip cookies were 💯💯. Definitely want to come back for breakfast.

Chia Seed Pudding!! Any time I'm in this part of town I always stop here to get the Chia Seed Pudding (as long as it's before 11a!). It's the best, not like I've seen this anywhere else. I truly recommend it. The rest of the food is great. A little pricey but worth it for the atmosphere, chill vibes and friendly staff. Never been here for dinner but I recommend it for a small breakfast or a quick lunch. The "to-go" coffee bucket is genius and more places should incorporate it.

Here for breakfast. Scones is fluffy. Self service coffee. Nice medium body. Breakfast bowl is about 10.5 but very filling. Very cute spot with friendly staff. Five points reward accepted here.

We stopped by for breakfast before heading to the airport. So good! We both had the soft scramble sammy and I added bacon to mine (I think the avocado add on would have made it even better). I also ordered a poppyseed scone and my boyfriend chose the bread pudding which came with a little brown butter sauce. We ended up trading our little pastries because we liked each other's better! Delicious food for the price in my opinion! We also picked up pastries here on Sunday when they had the pop up bakery and those were delicious!

I happen to be staying via an Airbnb in the Kaimuki area and wanted a strong Americano, and my favorite meal of the day happens to be breakfast. I am so glad I rolled into the Superette. The food such as the Avocado Toast and Akami Bowl are so well thought out in terms of flavors. The super tasty Hapa fried rice is definitely meant to be shared. The -ultimate- is the coconut mochi that is part of their daily baked treats. During my ongoing trips to Oahu, I plan to keep the Kaimuki Superette as part of my morning routines except Sundays when they are on a well-deserved break. Plus staff is so hospitable, locals and the community are greeted with the friendliest morning salutations. Clearly why their neighbors/neighborhood keep returning...also love the play of music from the 70s, early 80s in the background.

We were staying half a mile from here. What an amazing cozy little place. Love everything on the menu but the chia seed pudding is the clear winner. And the staff is just so sweet.

The cozy vibes and the throwback 60’s diner feel makes for great ambiance. Breakfast items may be on the small side in terms of serving size, but it is made up in flavor. The chia seed pudding included fresh fruit, manoa honey, and granola. A wholesome way to fuel a hike. The french toast was indulgent and had perfect texture. Slightly crunchy crust and fluffy interior.
