I love the champon noodles. The sara-udon was also not bad. As a Singaporean, i can say that while it’s similar to some of our Singapore dishes, this is certainly very good. The soup was really delicious. The sesame balls were made with mochi and red beans, fried to perfection and not too oily. Atmosphere was very pleasant. Not too noisy and spacious. Staff were very courteous too.

Really good food for a different Chinese food experience. We were very thrilled with what we ate.

Just to be safe, if you want to eat Chinese cuisine in this Chinese town. But it's all normal. I think the “Sara Udon” was the most delicious at this restaurant. “Sara Udon” is fried noodles topped with a vegetable filling.

A very good Chinese restaurant that is run by Japanese people. Service is excellent and attentive. The food is great and Hampton return again. The sweet corn soup is very good.

We visited after my business meeting. Love this China town with great food options. When talking about Nagasaki, Chinese veggie noodle soup is a must try option! We came around lunch time and the restaurant is packed! Almost every table gets an order of the noodle soup.

I was looking for a Chinese food at Chinatown and I will never regret to choose this shop. The restaurant is colorful like a typical restaurant in China. I feel the Chinese atmosphere. Food was large portions. I order many dishes to try some traditional food. Taste of Chinese food is different of Japanese one. Try the typical dumpling with pork meat (very soft fat bacon).

The Beijing duck was good, the other dishes were just fine - I just had so much better in China that this restaurant really can’t compare.

We ordered Sara Udon, sweet&sour chicken and fried rice. Food was okay, but we expected to be wowed from some reviews and the wide menu selection. The taste of the sara udon was a bit bland in my opinion, fried rice was average, the best thing we ordered was the sweet and sour chicken. Service was good. The restaurant could use an update as the seating is a bit awkward.

Yelp
Had lunch at this restaurant at the oldest Chinatown in Japan. I had the Nagasaki champon soap noodles and the wife had the champon dry noodles. We share the pork belly buns with the fixings. Service was good and the champons were delicious

Yelp
Good Chinese food in this touristy Nagasaki Chinatown. I've tried 2 other Chinese restaurants near by but Kairakuen gets the highest score from me! You must try Hatoshi (meat inside of deep fried bread pieces) because they have the best one in this Chinatown. Their Champon (Nagasaki's famous soup noodle) was good but average. I preferred their Saraudon (crispy fried noodle) over Champon. I tried go back there one more time during my lunch time before I left Nagasaki. But they did not let me eat-in because they only took big tour groups during lunch time which was disappointing. I did offer them to just do "take out" instead of dining in but they were too busy to receive take out orders. Regardless, if I ever be in Nagasaki again, I'd definitely go back there for dinner.
