As a first time father I can say Kaiser BP made the delivery process so comforting, understandable and capable. Everywhere we went we were met with a smile and an authentic helpful attitude, nothing felt forced and everything was explained in concise way. There was a nurse who help us on our “false alarm” who remembered us and went out of her way to congratulate us once we did finally deliver our baby; something that really made us feel genuinely cared for. Even at our discharge I had preemptively started to pack our bulky items into our car and before I made it to the elevator another nurse ran to me to give us a departing gift package and it had me blown away how thoughtful that was. 10/10 experience, I highly recommend have your baby here!

Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center We had an amazing experience at Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center for the birth of our newborn. The entire Labor and Delivery team was incredibly caring, compassionate, and supportive from the moment we arrived through the delivery and into the aftercare. Every staff member we encountered treated us with kindness and professionalism, which made such an important moment in our lives feel safe and comfortable. The nurse who assisted during the delivery was truly exceptional. She provided constant encouragement and motivation throughout the process and helped make what could have been a stressful experience feel much more manageable. Her calm presence and guidance made a huge difference during the delivery. We also want to give a special thank you to Annie Simon, the nurse lead, who made sure every day that we had everything we needed. She regularly checked in on us and went above and beyond to ensure both mom and baby were well taken care of. We’re extremely grateful to the entire team for the outstanding care they provided. Thank you to everyone at Kaiser Baldwin Park for making such a special moment in our lives a positive and memorable experience.

From labor to delivery to postpartum, I felt that my fiancé and I have really been surprised with the level of care we received We never felt rushed or anybody was pushy. Everybody from the staff was extremely nice, friendly and calm. The delivery room was much larger than I expected and had everything we need along with the postpartum room we were able to watch TV and have room service basically. My fiancé was able to get the care she needed along with our new baby having expert help

Back in August, my husband received care at Kaiser Baldwin Park, and we were incredibly fortunate to have Nurse Laila Lorriene “Reing” Lapides. She was truly exceptional. Laila brought a perfect balance of professionalism, compassion, and attentiveness that made a stressful situation so much easier for our family. She took the time to explain everything clearly, checked in often, and made sure my husband was comfortable and supported throughout his care. Her kindness felt genuine, and her confidence and skill gave us so much peace of mind. Nurses like Reing make all the difference — she is a true asset to Kaiser. We are deeply grateful for her care.

We had a wonderful experience at Kaiser Permanente Hospital – Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby Unit. Special thanks to the Labor and Delivery team, especially Karla and A. Joe, for their incredible dedication and resilience during the delivery of our baby. They made us feel welcomed, supported, and reassured every step of the way. Their professionalism and compassion truly made a difference on such an important day for our family. We are also deeply grateful to the Mother-Baby Unit team for taking such excellent care of my wife and our baby. The recovery services were outstanding. The staff was always available whenever we needed immediate assistance, patiently answered all of our (even silly) parenting questions, and treated our baby with so much care and love. Special appreciation and gratitude to Lu-Anne, Sue, and Krystal for their kindness, support, and exceptional care. Thank you to the entire Kaiser Permanente team for making this experience so positive and memorable. We truly felt we were in the best hands.

If you love your loved ones, do not bring them here to KAISER, they will be worse off , then they came in. Kaiser would just send them elsewhere to wither away and not accept any responsibility. Kaiser doesn't care about you or your family its all about profit for them. I brought my mother to the ER on 1/10/26. She had abdominal pain, dizziness headaches and not feeling well. They took her in and gave her contrast. We where never told by Dr. Hou. That there where side effects, which include shutting down your kidneys and possibility of you dying. So that's what happened to my mother, she almost became a dialysis patient, she had to get a blood transfusion because of the Dr's mistake. And Kaiser wont accept responsibility, saying its not their fault or problem. Right now my mother can't walk, use bodily functions, there is still water in her lungs and has a cough. And now they're trying to discharge an 82 year old Hispanic elderly lady with type 2 diabetes out of their facility. They just want to kick this poor lady to the curb, the hospital is saying "there not responsible for her outcome". The hospital says "we might have given you the contrast, buts it on you now". Thank you Kaiser for showing empathy and kindness. The nursing staff is another one I understand they are understaff but some of them dont give a damn, you might find a few good nurses but a lot of them are just walking through it. When I talk to the higher-ups, I just get excuses. They dont want to take responsibility for their mistakes. Kaiser wants to blame us for coming into their hospital to seek medical attention. So ask questions, don't let the doctors kill you or you loved ones. They just care about one thing and you know what that is 💰 💰 💰. Beware of KAISER.

I have been a Kaiser patient on and off since 1998 And through all of this years, I have only two bad experiences during my two different admissions with staff nurses that are lazy, gossip about own patients who was me , made me feel uncomfortable, unwelcome , was given incorrect diagnosis by a nurse. I had to request to get water several times. I officially reported the incident to member service. Lead nurse did not make any report not followed up with me until I had to contact Kaiser again. The lead nurse expressed unhappiness of my complaint. The public need to be aware about this type of service which is not appropriate, pleasant , unprofessional and be aware and don’t keep your mouth closed. We have to speak up and hopefully their nurse / staff can be retrained. We pay for our services . Some people become a nurse for the pay rate and not because they love to help out . Patients at whatever age need help , attention during the hospital stay. I’m not saying that all the stuff are bad because it’s not true and I will continue to keep Kaiser as my health care provider but keep in mind to be aware of everything being done. We have the right to know why a procedure is done, how is the procedure going to be done be informed about everything because it’s our body the one that is in whatever type of situation. I hope this helps people.

My family and I would like to sincerely thank the 5E nursing staff at Kaiser for the exceptional care provided to my grandpa during the entirety of his stay. RNs Crystal, Bryan, Cynthia, and Bika were all incredibly attentive, kind, and patient. They consistently took the time to answer questions and ensure he was comfortable. I also want to give recognition to Paolo RCP, who was thorough and always attentive to my grandpa’s respiratory needs. Our family was present often and very involved in my grandpa’s care, and the entire team handled this with professionalism and grace. They listened carefully, communicated clearly, and made us feel reassured every step of the way. We are truly grateful for the level of care, respect, and compassion shown to our grandpa and our family. Thank you to the entire 5E team for going above and beyond.

I have always received the best medical care from doctors and all employees at this location. I am able to make same day appointments as long as I call between 7-730 am. My doctor and his staff constantly follow up with me to take my meds and specific exams, schedule appointments, etc.. a little excessive at times but it is DEFINITELY and GREATLY appreciated as I HATE going to the doctor's office. White coat fever (or something like that??) is what they call it The pharmacy is especially to be recognized as they are very efficient, the entire staff is very friendly and ready to serve.

8/19/24 Dad got to ER at 5:30pm for stomach issues Currently 2:54am (9 hrs and 24mins and counting) literally almost 10 hrs at the ER and only a blood test has been taken. Nurse says everyday the wait is 8-12 hrs with a clearing house time of 4am. Don't come to the er unless you really must you might die waiting for the doctor.

On July 03, 2024, I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Vishal Sanatkumar Patel, M.D., at the Head & Neck Surgery department on the 3rd floor of Kaiser Permanente in Baldwin Park. Dr. Patel was nothing short of phenomenal and amazing! From the moment I met Dr. Patel, I was impressed by his professionalism, enthusiasm, and warm demeanor. He is a very patient doctor who truly cares about his patients. His ability to actively listen and address concerns made me feel comfortable and confident in his care. Dr. Patel's expertise in his field is evident. Throughout the entire process, I felt assured by his vast experience and knowledge. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly, ensuring I understood each step without overwhelming me with medical jargon. In addition to Dr. Patel, I also want to commend his LVN III, Ms. Sheila Medina. Sheila was phenomenal and an absolute rockstar! She was professional, attentive, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Her caring attitude and exceptional service greatly enhanced my experience. I strongly recommend Dr. Patel and Sheila to anyone seeking medical care in their specialty. Their exceptional skills and compassionate approach set them apart from other healthcare professionals. Dr. Patel and Sheila are second to none, and I am grateful for the outstanding care I received from them. Thank you, Dr. Patel and Sheila, for your dedication and remarkable service. Have a appointment but now that I'm here the appointment doesn't matter. Cause AFTER checking in. It's a 45 minute wait. What is the point of a APPOINTMENT? STUPID SYSTEM I MUST SAY. HURRY UP AND WAIT

This review is for Johanna Cevallos in the Kaiser Baldwin Park lab. Johanna is very experienced and has excellent phlebotomy skills. She is customer service oriented and does not hurt her patients. Johanna is friendly and kind and a true gem to Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park.

Oh help me, please doctor, I'm damaged There's a pain where there once was a heart... Kaiser has been with my growing family. From our first born to our youngest bundle of joy. 6/5 The Labor and Delivery Department is by far one of the best! The staff is amazing! They've made each delivery go as smoothly as can be expected. My wife and I are very grateful for the entire staff. You get to press the button once your newborn baby has arrived and it plays in the main hospital building for all to hear just like the Best Way to Spread Baby Cheer, is Singing Loud for All to Hear (thanks Elf). 3.5/5 Pediatrics the Doctors and nurses are wonderful with kids. That's the best part of the department are the nurses and Dr G. Unfortunately, sometimes it's just getting to them from the appointment line that takes forever. We came 15-20 minutes early and still had to wait over an hour. They do have after hours Urgent care which is great way for your little one to stay away from the general public and get care from the nurses and doctors who seem them on a regular basis. 1.5/5 Parking is difficult at this place. Whether you going in for an appointment or having a baby it's hard to find find a spot. In coming at night and early mornings for labor and delivery there never seems to be an expectant mother's spot. I constantly see people who aren't expecting park in these spots. I wish they would place cones on those spots to keep them available for those in need. 5/5 oncology department helped both my parents during their treatments and surgery. The nurses and doctors were great and answered any questions we had (we had a lot). Overall care is great from the nurses to the doctors. Thank you Kaiser!

I come here for my standard checkups and usually have a regular experience. This time I was told to go to the 3rd floor of the medical building. I checked in via phone and waited in my respective waiting room to be told later they changed my Dr. to be on the 2nd floor so had to go down there because they were looking for me. Turns out the Dr. also thought he was on the 3rd floor too so there was definitely some confusion and such a waste of like 20 minutes. Overall basic procedures and nothing to really complain. It's a nice area and I like kaiser insurance.

Update: Kaiser has gone back to how they did things and it's much better than how it was when I went 11 months ago. It's easy. You check in to order your medication then you wait to see your name on the screen. Once your name is there you get in the PICK UP line and get your Rx If you ordered your Rx on the app and you have the notification that it's ready for pick up then you go straight to the PICK up line. Pick up was quick.

More like a 2.5 but I'm rounding up. Big W's are that they're very integrated into their app ecosystem, at least physically at the Kaiser location. It's been impossible for me to normally book appointments though. I had to go to urgent care but ended up doing a whole ass 9-5 there... I guess my case wasn't as urgent as I thought it was. To be fair, everything went by super smoothly until I got to the CT scan part of the tests that they had to run for me. Checking into the urgent care and meeting with the provider, getting my blood work, checking into various departments went by quite smoothly. It's like the DMV on steroids to be honest, you'll see your name on the board, get a text message, sometimes they'll call you on the intercom when it's your turn, a really well oiled machine if everything goes by quick enough. I waited 4 hours for my CT scan when the actual procedure itself was only 15 minutes. Almost 2 hours in the waiting room and then another almost 2 hours after I've changed into my gown. People called in the same time with me were done way before me, even for the same test. Sucks, but it is what it is. I was never uncomfortable at any point even with blood drawn and IV with contrast put in me. All healthcare providers were professional and informative, showing enough care in the short time period that I got to see them for. The outside is really nice with the fountains and you can mobile order at the Starbucks on site too.

Was in the ER for 7 hours before being see. Some were waiting even longer! People were crying, vomiting, balled up on the floor in pain. I understand that patients are seen by priority, but Kaiser has been in this business for years! They have to find a better way to attend to ER patients. The check in nurse would place patients names under a rubber band wrapped around the printer. As patients came in, she'd shuffle the pieces of paper to move people through the line to be seen. What an archaic process for an emergency room.

It's nice to finally go to a Kaiser and that people are helpful. When I arrived, there were no one at the information desk. All I knew was that a family member was on a certain floor. So when I arrived, I asked one of the nurses, and she was attentive. She was friendly, and great at giving directions. As for my family member being treated, the nurses taking care of her were amazing. They would stop in about every hour to check and make sure didn't need anything. Also, it was great that they have vendors for the staff to purchase fresh fruit, a variety of food and drinks. Like a mini supply of farmers market at the hospital. A+

Still so disappointed by this place. Appointment availability is usually a month or more out, parking is a mess, and wait times are excessive. Go PPO if you can!

It is a great facility, thanks to doctors and all medical staff for their handling of my case, however, using one of the restrooms in the ER section, I was surprised finding the toilet paper so close and exposed to the toilet bowl. I believe it is a serious health hazard. There is always a chance that the toilet paper gets contaminated and cause transfer of diseases.

Got insurance for Kaiser through work and overall my experience here has been good with OBGYN and pediatrics. There was some initial confusion with insurance and medical records in the beginning when my kid was born but once you fit in their highly organized system...then it's fine. If you're outside that then it can be hard to find the right help. My experience with primary care has been a hit or miss and sometimes requesting a second opinion has been helpful. The appointments are usually on time and this campus has a nice fountain and outdoor track to walk. The cafeteria food though honestly looks terrible.

Was in the ER room for some time now and when we finally get a bed no doctor was to be found. The whole time we were in the ER room the nurse was taking care of us. He kept asking have we seen the doctor or talk to him yet and we said no. We even got our exit paperwork and yet the doctor never came to us to explain what happen or what was wrong. I had to read it from the discharge papers what was wrong with my baby and so mad the he just put dehydration wtf kind of place they running were I get charged $250 and more later on and yet never seen a doctor? Boooooo to you Kaiser! Time to see someone else that not a doctor

This is my go-to Kaiser location - been visiting when needed for many years now. All our primary doctors are here - and I've visited several specialists, as well as the lab, pharmacy, optometrist, physical therapy department, and most recently I had an encounter with their urgent care department. All the staff have always treated me extremely well - very compassionate and respectful. I had one PT visit after I broke my ankle last year and my therapist Laura was just awesome! She taught me everything I needed and did such a great job that I didn't even need another visit. My nurse in the urgent care two days ago was absolutely wonderful! I stepped on rusty nail and needed a tetanus shot - she was so skilled my shot didn't even hurt. I saw the PA - Mr. Jeudine - he was very caring and professional. The reception staff were all also excellent. My wait time was just over an hour which is the fastest I've ever been seen in any Kaiser urgent care. I've always found this particular facility immaculate and spotless - even in the public restrooms. They have a Starbucks on site with a lovely courtyard that has a large fountain and pond full of ducks - and FUN FACT - the courtyard was used in the movie Starship Troopers lol! This is also the last hospital I worked at before I officially hung up my nurse hat for good haha! So I've seen it from both sides of the curtains - and I've always appreciated how Kaiser focuses on preventative care to keep people healthy and avoid problems - instead of just treating health issues after they develop. Masking is no longer mandatory. They have numerous parking garages and lots of maps and signs everywhere so it's pretty easy to get around the large complex. They're not perfect - but they're definitely a solid choice for almost any medical care needs.

I recently had the privilege of undergoing outpatient surgery with Dr. Edward H Kim in vascular surgery and I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the friendly surgery staff at the front desk. The ambiance of the waiting area was calming, which helped alleviate any pre-surgery nerves I had. The nurses who attended to me during my visit were truly exceptional. They were not only highly skilled and efficient in their duties but also displayed a level of compassion and care that made me feel completely at ease. Their reassuring presence and constant attention throughout the procedure were a true testament to their dedication to patient well-being. Dr. Edward H Kim, the vascular surgeon who performed my surgery, was an absolute standout. Not only did he demonstrate a high level of expertise and precision in his work, but he also took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure to me in a way that was easy to understand. His patience in answering all my questions and addressing any concerns I had truly set him apart as a healthcare provider who values patient education and empowerment. The post-operative care I received was also exceptional, with the nursing staff ensuring that I was comfortable and well-informed about my recovery process before I left the facility. The follow-up instructions were clear and detailed, which helped me feel confident in managing my recovery at home. Overall, my experience at Dr. Kim's outpatient surgery was nothing short of outstanding. The level of care provided by the nurses and the expertise and compassion shown by Dr. Kim truly made a positive impact on my overall experience. I would highly recommend this BP facility to anyone in need of vascular surgery or any outpatient procedure. Thank you to the entire team for a job well done!

My daughter just had my second grandson and delivered at this hospital on Halloween! She hoped it would not be on this day, but there was a higher calling. The hospital is reatively clean and sanitary, but the nursing staff might need a little more bedside manners when removing bandages, as one of the nurses pulled skin off, which hurt like the dickens! Fortunately, it'll heal, but the hospital really wants to get patients In and Out, like their neighboring hamburger giant headquartered in Baldwin Park. Overall, I'm just happy everyone is healthy, but was worried during the delivery process, as each delivery has its own complications. Now for Thanksgiving...

I was visiting as a visitor but it turned into a appointment after the consult. Dr. Ivan Garcia was very gracious to accept me on the spot as there just so happen to be a cancellation. Dr. Garcia was able to determine that I had lateral epicondylitis. So, I ended up receiving an injection of lidocaine and some care instructions. Excellent care of service on Kaisers part. I'm a happy camper.

My appt was at 1125. Didn't get called in until 1145. Normal for them to not be on time. That's every office though, right? I had to come here cuz they cancelled My ob appt for the 2nd time over at the San dimas office and I wanted to get my appt in to speak with someone about my concerns. The lady was able to make me another same day appt, but only here at Baldwin park. I honestly hate coming here. It's overcrowded, parking sucks and its a long freaking walk and the service from receptionist aren't the warmest. They seem like robots here. No personality or friendliness. It rubs me the wrong way. I try to make appts away from the BP offices if I can help it. The set up is horrendous with the parking structure. I feel bad for anyone that has problems walking. There is never enough handicap parking here either. It's just a mess. Facilities look nice, but the headache of trying to find parking alone keeps me away. The care here is not bad, but again, just trying to get here is crazy. My main provider and OB are out of this office but I rarely see them due to lack of appts. I'd rather go somewhere closer to me to get what I need done.

Sitting here in waiting room right now in Head and Neck Surgery department. I can hear receptions called a patient and canceled it. My thing is HIPAA. She is saying patient complete name, department , date of appointment, etc. but it gets worse, she says, I need to cancel appointment for Monday because Dr R**** has COVID. What in the world... You violated the law and released two individuals PHI. Doctor diagnosis should not be disclosed. He deserves privacy. Ladies want to talk and gossip, take it to the break room.

I have problems with my knee and I was referred here to the see the surgeon specialist in orthopedics. I had a good experience in this department. They where on time with my appointment. The receptionist was cordial and helpful . I was impressed by the quality of the visit and the attitude and attention the dr. Offered.

Worst Visit Yet! I had an appointment for 11:30am and was told my doctor was running late 30-45 min. After waiting more than 2 HRS...I was told that their system had some "glitches" and my prescribed medications were deleted from the system!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! They just kept saying sorry instead of fixing the problem or explaining what else could be missing from my records. Then, the nurse tells me I can refill my prescription, but not by mail. Inconvenient She PROMISED me it would take no more than 30 minutes or to come and get her and she would handle it. I waited 40 minutes, my name never showed up on the board and the nurse didn't do anything about it when I told her. In fact, all the nurses in that department of neurology were giggling about my situation. I almost snapped!!They are so lucky I am not rude and I was very patient. I miss the nurses they had 5-10 years ago. I am seriously considering switching providers, but will definitely be looking for a different specialist. I used to recommend this department, but not anymore!

I went to Urgent Care, and I have been here for 2 hours and 10 minutes and still haven't been seen by anyone, not even for vitals. Someone who came in 20 minutes after me, has been seen and just walked out. Another group that walked in 30 min after me was called back. As you can see from the photo, no one is in line. There is NOTHING urgent about this facility! Since switching to Kaiser, I have been sorely disappointed.

The worst ER I've ever seen. Lot of staff appear to be restless as tho people are not in the waiting room wailing in pain and it obviously sick. I did not find them to be compassionate or even informative in regards to the 8 hour wait. Three the whole unit in the trash in trash day. I'd rather drive to Ontario and risk death getting there than to come back here. Wish I could rate it zero

Unfortunately my middle child torn his ACL this summer during high school football practice. It has been a long process/ headaches dealing with appointments for X-rays, MRI's etc. Today, we came in for his surgery, and my son was well treated by practitioners/surgeons. Dr. Maletis orthopedic was highly recommended. He once again took his time to reassure not only to my son, but to my husband and myself that everything would be a success. Truly appreciate how he kept checking on my son while in recovery, and to all the doctors and nurses who showed their kindness while in recovery.

This is by far the worst Kaiser in California. I have brought my daughter twice and each time end up going home instead after hours and hours of wait and never to be called. It's ridiculous the time they make them wait! All restrooms are disgusting in this Kaiser even the ones in the lab. I don't even know how this place is up and running just how filthy it is. Don't bring little ones here Lord knows if they even clean their rooms. Disappointed of Kaiser! Even more sad I had to give a star when it should give the option to leave none!

When it comes to medical services, I get the frustration of needing a referral and appointments are a month plus out. I do need to give Kaiser credit for being able to squeeze in same day appointments if you call them, clinics inside target, and urgent care readily available. Whereas, my former doctor was so busy, I'd be lucky if I can get seen by a PA. This review isn't about a doctor but a staff member in the radiology department. While you may wonder, how hard is it to help schedule an appointment for weeks out? It's how you deliver the service, being knowledgeable, and human about it. Michele C-M helped me scheduled an appointment over the holidays, considered my childcare challenges, and looked up the copay/cost of an MRI. Which is NOT CHEAP. She clearly helped set expectations knowing that this can impact Christmas presents. Offered suggestions and even informed me about some Kaiser assistance programs I never knew existed! She didn't have to go the extra step to be human and considerate, but she did and it made a huge difference for me while I try to figure what's wrong with myself. By the way, results of the MRI showed no abnormalities which is great news!

Ever since Covid their service has gone down hill. Went to urgent care and they told me the wait was 45 min but that they could offer me an appointment that was in 30 min. Turns out I should have just stayed in urgent care because 49 min later I'm still waiting for my appointment and the eta is another 30 min.

If you find yourself waiting for a prescription at this Kaiser location, the wait could be-not so bad if you sit outside or take a short walk alongside the pond. This hospital is off the 10 fwy so expect the typical LA traffic if your driving in from anywhere. There is ample parking but finding a spot can take a bit. **Parking is free** Pharmacy is fully staffed and efficient. If your walking in from parking structure, the Pharmacy is located in the "round" building. The pharmacy is not open 24/7, it's closed on Sundays. Monday thru Friday 9am-7pm Saturday 9am- 5pm

May 30th, 2024 I took my Mom to Urgent Care for her severe arthritis pain she's been experiencing lately. The P.A. was Jeudine while the LVN was Liz. We were highly pleased with Jeudine- his professionalism, patience, and knowledge were highly appreciated throughout our visit. If we could have him as our primary physician (even though his title is P.A), we would happily take him each time. Our nurse was okay. I believe she should have more training courses when it comes to her interactions with her patients. A bit short and direct and not always taken in the best manner. I believe she means well, yet needs to be aware of her tone, patience, and compassion with all patients. Overall, a great experience.

Kaiser is not my HMO, but my GF needed a prescription picked up because she was sick and so off I went. Even though the doctor called in the prescription, I still had to check in when I arrived before they would fill the prescription. An hour later, it was finally ready. Why couldn't they start filling the scrip when the doctor called? If I was sick, I would have been sitting in a packed waiting area getting others sick. Since I wasn't sick, I couldn't help but wonder if I would catch something while I was waiting. Compared to my HMO where there are smaller offices for visits and the use of multiple pharmacies to visit, with drive thru, making it quicker and more convenient, I cant see how this is more efficient or safe. At least I only needed to pay $2.50 for two scrips. I don't think my insurance would have been much more, but will give them some credit for that. I for one won't be switching HMO's even though Kaiser plan is less expensive.

Every single time I come to the ER the wait time is over 4hrs. They don't have the capacity or the staff. Definitely not renewing with Kaiser for 2025

I love this Kaiser! I may be a bit biased because my daughter was born here but it's such a nice hospital! They have a pond area with ducks and I love bringing my daughter here when I need to pick up something from their 24 hour pharmacy. I don't really have any other reason to be here except for when I was having my daughter. The doctors and nurses that I encountered were very professional and nice. 2 thumbs up

It's really sad to see your loved ones in agony and despair while waiting in the ER waiting room for 9+ hours realizing there is nothing nurses can provide while WAITING to at least make them comfortable. I watched my mom suffer 9 hours in pain yesterday sitting in that gross er room. They need to hire more staff or expand their ER room for more beds. This is ridiculous I'm seriously considering leaving Kaiser after 31 years after our experience yesterday.

I had an appointment at 2pm in Radiology. I waited over 3 hrs to get X-rays. From now on I will go to the Ontario Kaiser.

DO NOT COME HERE. i took my son to the ER bc they ONLY have urgent care pediatrics from 5-7. all the front desk women couldnt answer any questions about my billing or wait time ( mind you my child is 1yrs old & was literally throwing up in front of them!). Veronica H. took my sons vitals & asked me 3 times if i gave him motrin ( i guess she wasn't listening or even reading her notes that she was "typing." Veronica proceeds to look for a thermatat in a dirty, messy draw and SHOVES it up my sons behind w/ no compassion or caution! and just smiles when i told her he's nvr had this done to him. a boy nurse with dunks & a hickey on his neck called us in and said only one person in & when we asked the front desk lady she said 2 visitors were in there, which is a lie. the boy nurse sat me in the room didn't even say anything and just left. i've never walked in into a more dirty room than this one. there was trash left behind, the tray wasn't even sterile/cleaned, the floor had BLACK FOOT PRIINTS & SCUFF MARKS, when Veronica said they were going to clean the rooms & then call us in. i ended up leaving bc the treatment they give to patients especially A BABY is inhumane. i guess Kaiser isn't a hospital anymore bc there's literally no procedures for cleanliness, no one can answer your questions, nor can they have any sympathy or compassion for patients that are going to the EMERGENCY ROOM.

Pharmacy sort of sucked, the "pharmacist." Was too busy to explain the medication I'm expected to take. Instead she asked me if I got instructions....what if I can't read? 10/2/23 at 6pm. I wish more staff at Kaiser did their jobs. It must be nice being paid to pretend to work,

Today I went to urgent care I wasn't feeling good thought there would be a long wait. But instead I had the greatest time there. Dr Baker Your expertise and exceptional care have made a real difference on today's visit .Thank you for being an amazing doctor. I am grateful for your exceptional care. I felt you went above and beyond. Nurse Vanessa was awesome . She smiled and gave me the best customer service. The reception Michelle was also very sweet and nice too. Y'all keep up the good work.

My dad received great care here a few years back when he was hospitalized for West Nile Virus. Everyone we worked with was kind, helpful, and competent - it put our family at ease during a very stressful time. We continue to be impressed with the medical and administrative staff at this location and have not been disappointed with the various services we have received at KP Baldwin Park over the years.

Went here because they were concerned I had a stroke. I sat there for almost 9 hours. Kaiser is the worst.

I brought my dad to urgent Care. We saw Dr. Baker. He is amazing. He explained why he is giving medication and how it would help. He also suggested that my dad see his PCP. My dad has not seen his PCP in a while. I have been telling him to do that as well. Thank you Dr. Baker and the nursing team. We appreciate you all.

Usually always good service when we come to Kaiser. And I get it, right now everyone is sick. Nurses and doctors are so over worked and under appreciated. But when I take my daughter in because she has 105 fever, I don't want the doctor to tell me or her, "So you've been sick for less than 24 hours, why are you here?" My response to him was, "My concern was her fever of 105!" His response was, "Well it's not that anymore." Again, I get it. Everyone is sick and he's probably already worked 18 hours, but you're supposed to be a pediatrician, have a little more sympathy. I thought when a fever was that high and nurse advise tells you to take your kid in it's because a high fever is something to be concerned about. Right?

Hell on earth. If you value your elderly loved ones, avoid this garbage place like the plague. My father was taken here via ambulance after he broke his hip (unknown at the time). He was made to wait in an ambulance for eight hours. We finally made it in, where a truly horrendous experience in the ER followed. The ER doctor was an arrogant you-know-what who misdiagnosed a broken hip in an 81-year old man as a stroke. He lifted and dropped my father's leg after examining an x-ray that covered only my father's knee. He dismissed and spoke over me as I tried to advocate for my father. As I sat in the dark in my father's room, I heard orderlies who did not see that I was there disparage patients who were at their weakest and most vulnerable, my father included. My father was then admitted to the hospital, where the broken hip was diagnosed after two days. Right before he was due to be released, and after repeated questions from our family, they completed another X-ray and found the broken hip. While he was there, he contracted C-diff, and doctors really pushed the idea of palliative care vs. active treatment. I asked about a growth on his ear and was told it was a minor scab. A real hospital, Keck, told us later it was skin cancer! I wish I had taken the time to pursue negligence charges, but be aware that they prey on elderly patients and their suffering families. Avoid if you value your loved ones' lives.

What's the point of paying for this HMO, if you go because of an emergency plan on sitting in the lobby for 6+ hours.
