What a fantastic week I've just had at kaiser lodge. Impressed from the moment you walk into the lobby. My room was big and really lovely. Huge bathroom and everything you need - small tv but hey who watches tv on holiday. Food was lovely every day from the breakfast you stayed the day with that had everything you could want. Afternoon snacks weren't just snacks they were full meals if you desired, pasta, soup, bread, salad, meats, desserts and of course beer m, wine, hot drinks soft drinks etc etc. Evening meal in the all inclusive was also superb, something different every day of the week, everything delicious. Spa was also out of this world - I'm not usually bothered about spas but even i enjoyed relaxing in this high end spa that again had everything you could want. Gym too, superbly fitted out with top notch equipment.|Genuinely loved my week at the kaiser lodge and will hopefully bring the family next time - especially if I get a discount for such a great review 😉|Well done to the entire team at kaiser lodge, you have a special place.|Oh and the skiing, that is the cherry on the cake. Huge ski area (if not a little confusing when you first arrive), great skiing that will test intermediates like myself. |All in all great holiday made special by kaiser lodge - thank you 😊

We are returning guests, and this was already our second year staying at this ski resort hotel with our kids. Once again, the experience exceeded all our expectations. The hotel truly impresses with its attention to detail in every aspect from the beautifully maintained facilities to the smallest thoughtful touches that make a stay special. What makes this place truly exceptional is the warmth of the service. You can genuinely feel that the people here do everything from the heart, creating a welcoming and caring atmosphere for both adults and children. The quality of the food is outstanding, as is the overall quality of everything the hotel provides. This hotel is a real gem in Austria, and it has become a place we associate with perfect winter holidays. We will definitely come back again! Hector Perea & Daria Kazmiruk

We spent a week at this hotel, just a fortnight ago and everything about it exceeded our expectations: all staff were warm and friendly, accommodation was very clean and attractive and the food was very varied and of a very high standard. The wine, beers and soft drinks (hot and cold) on offer were always plentiful and there were many cosy areas to sit, relax and consume them. Amazingly, the outdoor adults pool was heated and the children 's indoor pool lovely, too. Towels were provided and lovely gowns, also with cute ones for children . The outdoor areas of the kaiser lodge are well-kept and the setting striking. Scheffau itself is very tiny but , if you wish to leave the resort, transport links to the various attractions ( cable cars and 'Welts' ) are frequent and free for hotel residents. I can recommend the Kaiser lodge unreservedly.

The Kaiserlodge in Scheffau offers spacious, stylish suites with a stunning mountain backdrop. Since mid-2025, the resort features a new XL spa facility for sports enthusiasts and wellness lovers. The new spa is adults-only (16+) and includes herbal organic sauna, Finnish sauna, steam bath, salt steam bath, and an exceptionally large gym. The restriction creates a wonderfully quiet atmosphere—no forced ambient music, just peaceful relaxation interrupted only by the occasional snore. The 500-square-meter "Kraftschmiede" gym features Life Fitness equipment, cardio machines, dumbbells, and barbells. After training, muscles can recover in the Finnish sauna (with automatic infusion!) and steam bath. The Kaiserlodge comprises 44 suites and apartments, with one-third offering direct lake access. Our "Natursuite Wilder Kaiser" provided enormous space: two large bedrooms (plus extra room with two additional sleeping options), two bathrooms, spacious living area with kitchenette spanning 90 square meters, and a huge sun terrace.

I’ve been coming here for a few years, every year they are improving! However this year I found it annoying that so many dogs are were in the hotel, I don’t feel this hotel is a dog hotel. Hotel Kaiser next door has more of a dog hotel vibe.

Our second summer trip to the Kaiserlodge. Still meticulously-maintained 6 years later. We've taken winter holidays at the attached Hotel Kaiser several times more. The lodge is a stunning concept with swim-up dual level apartments fit for two families to share. The staff are exceptional, the rooftop spa is stunning. The location is amazing with the Hintersteinersee just up the road for more freshwater swimming, there is local hire for mountain bikes. Walking distance across meadows to the cable car and free bus travel included. Thank you Barbara and team!

We wanted to do something different this Christmas so we booked a 2 night stay in a two bed/2 bath apartment with mountain views (4 people). Everything looked great online & the reviews were good. The Kaiserlodge did not disappoint! The room was fantastic, everything was extremely high-quality from the workmanship of the decorating & woodwork to the furnishings, to the bathroom products. The views were beautiful, it was just a shame we didn’t get chance to use the lovely wrap around balcony. We had two evening meals in the restaurant both of which were excellent; lovely well presented food & friendly helpful staff who made us feel very welcome. We also had breakfast on both days; also excellent with plenty of choice for everyone. The spa was well equipped with a sizable indoor pool with the option to swim outside, 3 sauna’s (steam, sauna & infrared) & numerous showering facilities. There were plenty of loungers & a quiet room – all with stunning views. We are a family of frequent international travelers having collectively visited almost 100 countries & been fortunate to have stayed in hundreds of high end hotels. The Kasierlodge compares favorably with the very best places we have stayed; we can highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect ski hotel. Super modern design, the apartment was very spacious, stylish, comfortable. Hotel location is awesome. Ski bus comes right in front and slopes are very close. 20 mins from Kitzbuhel. Staff extraordinarily kind and friendly. We loved the spa area a lot which is lovely to use after a day of skiing. Would imagine summertime equally lovely for summer hiking in this location. Nice concept all in all. Lovely family holiday for us.
