The most historic restaurant in all of Delhi! After the British engineered Partition, which led to the brutal merciless deaths of 2 Million Indians, refugees would congregate in this famous restaurant. Established in 1931 the food is the best in the World! Everytime we are in Delhi, Kaka Ka Dhaba (Hotel) is our first port of call. "Dad, this tastes delicious" my son exclaimed "the best Muttar Keema!" There you go My son is developing a taste for Indian cuisine and comparing different establishments in India and abroad. Kaka Da Dhaba in the top 5 2nd visit and the Koftas have delicious surprises within!

What to say about Kake da Hotel. A legendry old time small eatery serving delicious veg and non veg food. Mostly famous for its non veg food ( gravy, tawa and tandoori), always full with waiting outside. During weekend nights the waiting sometimes can go upto 2 hrs. Their butter chicken, chicken curry , brain curry, gurda kapura and mutton dishes are worth trying. Eat them with tandoori roti, naan etc. top it up with chilled cold drink.😀

The hotel is over hyped and only very few items are upto the mark. The keema kaleji was good with aroma of ghee. The tandoor chicken and the guda kapore was disappointing.

Kake da hotel is good place for eat homestyle chicken or mutton. The saag mutton or saag chicken is very fantastic. The best thing is that the crispy tandoori roti they serve in hot one by one it's very nice. In sallet they give us onion and chutney it's very fabulous. You can take more gravy complimentary.

Pls be prepared to wait for your turn be it night and day. There is absolutely no ambiance and decor and be prepared to share tables with strangers It’s amazing despite that the long queue on the roads speaks volume of the food served here. The food is very rich and greasy and equally tasty. I think if one is in Delhi they should at least taste this cuisine to understand how food connects people. The service is super fast and efficient inspite of hardly any place for the waiters to move around. If you are too concerned about hygiene and decor do not visit here

I had just one night in Delhi and was looking for a good Indian dinner. I first went to Moti Mahal, hoping to try their iconic butter chicken but honestly, it was super overrated. Even the naan felt underwhelming. Then I walked over to Kaka Da Hotel, just two minutes away. Wow, what a difference! I had to put my name in the wait list (totally worth it), and I ordered butter chicken, butter naan, and chicken tikka. Every single thing was incredible. Possibly the best butter chicken and chicken tikka I’ve ever had. The naan was hot, soft, and perfectly layered with butter. If you’re looking for something local, bold, and full of authentic Delhi flavors, I’d highly recommend this place.

The hotel is quite famous in this area for quality non vegetarian food. The rush can be seen from the people waiting outside patiently despite all the discomfort. The hotel has dining facility on 2 floors inside (G+1) . The ground floor houses 3 tables with 4 settings. The menu provides vegetarian as well as non vegetarian food. The food items are reasonably priced. However there is no parking facility available. The prepration appear very neat and hygienic. The ambience is crowded and the service is quite quick. Worth trying.
