The Dal Makhani is slow-cooked, rich, creamy, and full of smoky flavor – probably one of the best in Delhi. The Butter Chicken was perfectly balanced – not too sweet, not too spicy, just pure comfort food. The rotis were soft, fresh, and generously buttered. What I really liked is that the taste feels consistent and authentic, like they haven’t changed their recipe just to look fancy. It still feels like proper Punjabi comfort food. Kake Da Hotel is a true Delhi classic- the food is consistently delicious and served almost instantly, except for a few tandoori dishes that take a bit longer. The flavors are rich and authentic, making it one of the best spots for hearty North Indian food in Connaught Place. The place is almost always crowded, so expect to wait a bit during peak hours. The two-level seating area is quite compact and can feel congested, but the fast service and amazing taste make up for it. Definitely worth visiting for the food alone!

Kake Da Hotel in Connaught Place is a legendary spot for anyone who loves rich and authentic North Indian food. Their butter chicken is absolutely divine — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with tender pieces of chicken that melt in your mouth. The chicken curry is equally impressive, packed with robust spices and a homely taste that keeps you coming back for more. The portion sizes are generous, making it great value for money. The only downside is the waiting time, which can easily stretch to 30–40 minutes, especially during peak hours it can be around 1-1.5 hour. But trust me, the taste is totally worth the wait!

Ohh I just love this place!! I tried their Dahi Meat ( Mutton Rogan Josh ) and it was so smoky and flavourful, the gravy was thick and piping hot which made the dish a banger! Try it with their tandoori roti & a pepsi to complete the meal ( You can ask for extra gravy as well, Also great service 🙌🏻 )

I had chicken curry, one of their best dishes but I didn’t find it outstanding although it was good in taste and chicken was very soft and well cooked but seems like bit overhyped by influencers.

As a non Delhite, this was best non-veg food I tried. But I see also lot of negative comments about long queue and quality of food. Being famous joint, expect long waiting and have patience as the security guard is doing his job wonderful. I was watching him and he showed composed and dedicated focus to ensure everyone is allowed as per their waiting sequence. We (5 members) had to wait for 20min max on Sunday afternoon lunch time. Quality of food is a personal choice. Butter chicken was obviously mediocre but not that bad. Kheema with Kaleji was awesome. Chicken Tikka is must have. We tried all this with butter naan. It's a small place and cramped. Don't go if you want to complaint about ambience. Would I go there again ? Absolutely.
