Kala Ghoda event is one of biggest carnival in Mumbai..at Fort. It generally happens in Jan last week. Must visit and see creativity of 🎨 artists..lots of hard work u can see there. U must go in early hours and on weekdays so u will get less crowd. Around 10 lakh people visit in 8 tp 10 days. Art prices are spectiacals and u will say WOW 👌 There r so many stalls where u can buy things of different state. Prices are high on shops as they come from different states of our country. Very organised event of the govt 👏 👍 they don't charge anything..they only want people should see these art and enjoy. Daily live band or dance or something else happens there. I loved 😍 it and my kids also enjoyed it too.

Lately it's less fun and more crowd, Less creativity and more hype. Wish it gets better by next year, 2025 festival wasn't worth according to me. Not recommended for elders as no seating available nor anything nearby to eat. Wish the arrangements get better by each passing year. Only various types of horses were seen !

"I recently attended the Kala Ghoda Festival, and it was an incredible experience! The festival truly has something for everyone. I explored a wide range of stalls showcasing stunning art, beautiful jewelry, and unique clothing. The creativity and talent on display were truly inspiring. While there were a few crowded areas, the overall organization and layout of the festival made it easy to navigate and enjoy. The energy of the crowd was infectious, and I loved seeing so many people come together to celebrate art and culture. If you're looking for a fun and enriching experience, I highly recommend checking out the Kala Ghoda Festival. Can't wait for the next one! 2026"

The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2025, celebrating its 25th anniversary, transformed South Mumbai into a vibrant canvas of creativity from January 25 to February 2. With over 300 events across 15 categories, the festival offered a rich tapestry of art, culture, and heritage. The festival’s theme, “Silver,” was evident in numerous installations, including the iconic riderless black horse symbolizing the area’s legacy. Venues like the David Sassoon Library, Cross Maidan, and Horniman Circle Garden hosted a plethora of events, from visual arts and dance performances to literature readings and culinary workshops. Visitors were treated to a diverse range of experiences: • Art Installations: Innovative displays, such as sculptures made from recycled materials, captivated audiences. • Performances: Live music, dance, and theater performances showcased both traditional and contemporary talents. • Workshops: Interactive sessions allowed attendees to engage directly with artists and learn new skills.

A Vibrant Celebration of Art, But with Some Logistics to Improve I recently attended the Kala Ghoda Art Festival 2025, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The festival showcased an impressive array of art, from paintings to sculptures, installations, and street performances. The sheer diversity of artistic expressions on display was truly breathtaking. The festival also offered a wide range of products to buy, from handmade crafts to unique souvenirs. I ended up buying a few beautiful pieces that I'll always treasure. However, there were a couple of logistical issues that detracted from the overall experience. Firstly, parking was a major problem. The lack of adequate parking facilities led to a lot of confusion and frustration among visitors. Secondly, the options for eating and drinking were limited. While there were a few food stalls, the choices were not very diverse, and the queues were quite long. Despite these issues, I would still highly recommend the Kala Ghoda Art Festival to anyone who loves art, culture, and creativity. With a little more planning and organization, this festival could truly become a world-class event. Rating: 4.5/5 stars Will I attend again? Absolutely!

Visiting the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in Mumbai was an incredible experience, a feast for the senses and the soul. Held annually in the vibrant Kala Ghoda precinct, the festival beautifully brings together art, culture, and creativity in one dynamic space. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with stunning installations and street art that transformed the area into an open-air museum. The variety of art on display—paintings, sculptures, photography, and even digital works—was awe-inspiring. It felt like every corner told a story, reflecting Mumbai's vibrant spirit and India's rich cultural heritage. The festival isn’t just about visual art; it offers something for everyone. I enjoyed live music performances that were energetic and soulful, and the theatre and dance shows added an engaging layer to the experience. The workshops were another highlight, giving visitors a chance to interact with artists and learn new skills. The food stalls were a delight, serving everything from local street food to gourmet delicacies. The marketplace was equally enchanting, offering unique handcrafted products and souvenirs that were hard to resist. What struck me most was the inclusive and welcoming vibe of the festival. It wasn’t just for art enthusiasts; families, students, and tourists all came together, adding to the lively energy of the event. Overall, the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is a celebration of creativity, diversity, and community. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the cultural heart of Mumbai while enjoying a memorable artistic journey. I’ll definitely be back next year!
