KALAMATA - TAPES I GINTÒNIC

This place feels underrated bc holy cow!! Every dish was amazing, I went twice during my stay in Barcelona. Each tapa was so well done, my picky parents were obsessed and said it was their favorite meal of the entire trip. Also, the aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful. So glad we got to stay Poblenou so that we could discover this gem! We ordered: • anchovies • prosciutto with cheese and truffle • calamari • goat cheese salad • croquettes (mushrooms was the favorite!! But the chicken was good too) • gnocchi pesto • steak with chimchurri sauce and fries Wish we got to order more bc I’m sure every dish is delicious! Also the gin and tonics were great!

One of the best restaurants on the ramblas. The food was top notch and the combination of the dishes were perfect. We ordered the green salad, steak slices and fries, chicken strips (for our daughter), chocolate brownie with ice cream, and great wine to match. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want an authentic taste of what Barcelona has to offer.

Went alone, which is is probably not optimal for a tapas place. The started patatas bravas were HUGE, could not finish it myself. Anyway the brst patatas I’ve eaten. The seabass ceviche was really fresh and tasty. After half a bowl it started to feel a bit too sour. Beef carpaccio was perfect, especially with the patatas bravas. The waiter was a bit hard to contact but food came rather quickly. Good prices. Would come again with a larger group.

Lovely vermouth and gorgeous food. Best chicken croquettes I've had. I'm also not a seafood person but the calamari was stellar. Highly recommend.

First night in Barcelona and we stumbled on this incredible place. The flavours of the tapas were absolutely mind blowing! Best Sangria I have had in a very long time! Contradictory to what I had heard about quality of service…this place offered a warm atmosphere and our host couldn’t do enough to make our experience memorable! If you are in the area…this is definitely one for the books!

First night in Barcelona. This place was recommended by our hotel Clark. This hidden gem was serving amazing food. We started a bottle of Cava and olives. I never tasted olives that good and it was a really good start. We ordered a bunch of tapes what you do in Spain, right? Most memorable dish was gnocchi. I never had gnocchi that soft and smooth like you are eating cloud. Flavors were so spot on and I was so amazed with all the dish. We will definitely go back again before our trip to Barcelona is over.

Very small and cosy local Tapas and Paella place. We landed here first night in Barcelona after flying in so looking for quick easy place from the hotel. Good food, good service and choice of Tapas. As it was late the Paella was not an option but not disappointed by the choice. Would recommend if you are staying near by.

Jose is an amazing waiter and gave us great food recommendation. We went for a dinner and we were so impressed with the food and returned the next day for lunch before we flew back home. Celine the chef came out to see us. She was very humble and had a big smile on her face. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, 100% recommended if you are visiting Barcelona.
