What a superb find in Barcelona! Kalamata Tapas Restaurant exceeded all expectations. Every dish was beautifully crafted, bursting with fresh, authentic flavours, and clearly prepared with care and passion. A special mention to Matteo and Bernardo — their hospitality truly elevated our experience. Attentive, friendly, and professional, they made us feel completely at home. Service like that makes all the difference. A must-visit spot in Barcelona and no tourists...except for us!

Had amazing seafood paella that I would come back for. Want to also try their ceviche and steak & fries next time. Service was attentive and friendly. Great place for a date or a casual night out with friends.

This place feels underrated bc holy cow!! Every dish was amazing, I went twice during my stay in Barcelona. Each tapa was so well done, my picky parents were obsessed and said it was their favorite meal of the entire trip. Also, the aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful. So glad we got to stay Poblenou so that we could discover this gem! We ordered: • anchovies • prosciutto with cheese and truffle • calamari • goat cheese salad • croquettes (mushrooms was the favorite!! But the chicken was good too) • gnocchi pesto • steak with chimchurri sauce and fries Wish we got to order more bc I’m sure every dish is delicious! Also the gin and tonics were great!

One of the best restaurants on the ramblas. The food was top notch and the combination of the dishes were perfect. We ordered the green salad, steak slices and fries, chicken strips (for our daughter), chocolate brownie with ice cream, and great wine to match. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want an authentic taste of what Barcelona has to offer.

Went alone, which is is probably not optimal for a tapas place. The started patatas bravas were HUGE, could not finish it myself. Anyway the brst patatas I’ve eaten. The seabass ceviche was really fresh and tasty. After half a bowl it started to feel a bit too sour. Beef carpaccio was perfect, especially with the patatas bravas. The waiter was a bit hard to contact but food came rather quickly. Good prices. Would come again with a larger group.

First night in Barcelona and we stumbled on this incredible place. The flavours of the tapas were absolutely mind blowing! Best Sangria I have had in a very long time! Contradictory to what I had heard about quality of service…this place offered a warm atmosphere and our host couldn’t do enough to make our experience memorable! If you are in the area…this is definitely one for the books!

Kalamata is a fantastic restaurant with great food and service! I would highly recommend their gin and tonics, croquettes (easily the BEST I had during my visit to Barcelona), and patatas bravas!

Lovely vermouth and gorgeous food. Best chicken croquettes I've had. I'm also not a seafood person but the calamari was stellar. Highly recommend.
