Kalatua Beach Restaurant

I really enjoyed my day at Kalatua. The food & drinks were great and so was the service. The water is at the beach is a little rough so you have to go down a little further and not directly in front of the beach club. I’m not a huge fan of the beach chairs basically being on the ground but it wasn’t the end of the world. I felt as if everything was reasonably priced. It was a day well spent.

We booked a day pass at Kalatua which is a upscale restaurant that has access to beach chairs/ cabanas that you can rent for $50-70 for the day (12pm - 5:30pm). Comes with 2 chairs and umbrella. It was so relaxing and the beach/ ocean was amazing and so was the food, service and vibe (DJ was great). It’s a MUST DO if you visit the island. It was really nice to change it up for a day away from our resort and have some different food and hangout at a beautiful beach. 10/10. Book in advance if you can for the weekends. We totally lucked out! Nothing but great things to say about the resort and experience we had. 10/10. Last thing, airport is super close! I booked a ride both ways using Nexus Tours it was $20 each way and takes about 4-7min. If you are looking to have an enjoyable vacation filled with great views, beautiful beaches, great food and service. Look nowhere else!

This place was really nice! The food was great and the service was amazing inside the beach club. We also enjoyed amazing water sports. I really hate to give this spot such a low rating but the cart guy absolutely spoiled this experience for us. We started our day at the beach club around 2:30 pm on a Monday. We had an amazing lunch followed by a beach cabana and water sports. We left the beach at 5:30 because the cart guy refused us service a couple days prior and informed us the carts stopped running at a certain time. We ensured we were there on time and waited our turn. The cart guy refused to let us on the cart and took another group of people instead of us that came up later than us. He saw us waiting and refused us service. Not sure what it was about but collectively we spent over 900 dollars at the beach club for 3 hours of fun and we were refused a ride back to our car. We walked back which was less than a half mile walk. But just surprised we were treated so horribly by one guy.

I read some bad reviews about the service so was skeptical to come but I’m glad I tried it anyway. I guess it’s a hit or miss with service because I got VERY good service. The hostess patiently explained to me I could choose from $70 seats (front row) to $50 (third/last row). The seats were for full day but since I came from another beach, I only had 2 hours left so didn’t want to pay for seating. The hostess was so kind and showed me a seat where I could sit for free. This place was so relaxing and beautiful. Would come again for the full day to rent a front row seat next time.

Really beautiful place. The ambiance is amazing. Very clean beach area. The day beds are pricier than others on the island but that was no issue for me knowing how elevated the experience should have been. The customer service was horrible. I was alone, it took 30 minutes for me to just get the attention of the waiter. I ordered a bottle of rose in hopes that maybe he seems money is no issue for me and I am hoping to enjoy my time here. Was still impossible to get his attention even with it not being that busy and I wanted to order food. The waiter from the other side was more helpful than my waiter. I got the plate with falafel and various dips which was very good. I would love to go back but hope for much better service , especially at an establishment that prides itself on high end and charges a premium price as well.

Best beach club on the island. Great food and service. Nasim was such an attentive server, we were there for 3 days in a row and he made sure to provide the best service. Beautiful beach, amazing music.

This restaurant is amazing! The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The fact that the restaurant is right on the beach was a definite bonus.

In my opinion, I would never come back here. As we arrived, we asked the host about the difference between the daybed and the chairs, as me and my husband were deciding where we wanted to sit because we did not want to be in the sun, the host Julia was rolling her eyes and annoyed by us. It was very rude. The day beds are 60 euro a person, the chairs are so low to the ground it was uncomfortable. They give u two little towels that do not cover the whole chair so you have to pay to rent two more towels if you want your chair covered. The food we ordered was not good at all. We ended up leaving after one hour of being there and went to rainbow cafe, the staff was much friendlier, great service, food was good and place was enjoyable.
