Kalbarri Backpackers

Although we didn’t stay overnight at the Kalbarri Backpackers Hostel, we spent some time there during the day and were warmly welcomed by the team. We were allowed to use the kitchen and bathroom facilities, which were all clean and well-maintained. What really makes this hostel special is the people. Aaron and Deran made us feel incredibly welcome right from the start. They were not only friendly but also gave us great tips for exploring Kalbarri and making the most of our time there. Even as non-guests, we felt included and comfortable—such a great vibe! Definitely a place we’d love to come back to and stay next time.

It requires some tidying up. The rooms are roomy and clean. The communal kitchen has all one requires. Perfect location to walk to the beach every morning.

Possible to pay 5$ per person for a hot shower even if you're not staying overnight. Shower was really really really disgusting with lots of hair and gross stuff everywhere but staff was very nice.

Darrien is doing great things with the hostel. Aaron, the manager is great too. Genuinelly concerned about people and does his best to make everyone feel comfortable. Can’t wait to be back

The room hosted 10 beds, but was not properly equipped for this amount of people: there were only 2 plugs, and the space was very limited. There was only 1 shower and 1 toilet for the entire floor. The outside kitchen was nice and big. It’s okay for one night, as the room was quite clean.

Lovely hostel! Stayed in a 11pers dorm, shower outside of the room was great. Amazing outdoor social area with bbqs and pool. Indoor kitchen and common area have a very house-like atmosphere. Thanks also to the owner for hosting us! Made us feel very welcome and at home!

Booked the upstairs apartment with balcony for one night. Great accommodation. One double bedroom and one twin. Everything very clean and kitchen extremely well equipped. Spacious living area and flat screen tv. Hostel is a bit tatty but extremely welcoming. Very good value for money.

Not bad for a hostel. The bed linens were nice and comfortable. The only issue i had was that the circuit broke in the morning so there were no lights or toasters. Other than that, it was a nice place to stop over for the night.
