This Gorgeous Skywalk Will Give You Unforgettable Views of an Australian Gorge

"The skywalk is located on the West Loop lookout over Murchison River Gorge. It has two viewing points that extend 25 meters (about 82 feet) and 18 meters (about 59 feet) over the edge, providing a feeling of floating in the sky over the valley. It was designed by architect Craig Poletti and includes paths, shelters, and wheelchair access. The skywalk project embraces the heritage of the indigenous Nanda people, featuring a welcome sign in the Nanda language and artwork by Nanda artists." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Incredible way to view the landscape. Easily accessible from the carpark. Lots of information on site, and artistic installations to help you appreciate the elusive wildlife. A must-visit location if you are in the area, even if you don't want to undertake the hikes. I visited right after completing The Loop track, making it the perfect vantage point to see parts of the trail I had just walked.

Definitely a bucket list experience. The experience was quite alot like getting to look over the Grand Canyon. The skywalk is only about 5 yrs old, opened in 2020. The architecture is very well kept and looked after. We enjoyed a talk with a local ranger. There are small artworks scattered throughout giving a good picture of what animals may have been there throughout time. The experience of walking out unto the skywalk is exhilarating and a bit foreboding if you are not akin to heights. There plenty of restrooms of the drop toilet kind. There is also a café if you come earlier. Be sure to dress appropriately as it is very windy and common to lose your hat.

100% would not miss these 2 places! Skywalk and Nature's window! The skywalk is not a far walk from the carpark with breath taking views of the gorge overhanging on a platform far far from ground! Definitely a good experience, especially if you dont like heights 🤣

Breathtaking views. Come in winter. It’s chilly but not crowded. Be sure to key in the correct GPS location too. There are a few ones with the same names and we got to the wrong one. Nearly didn’t make this trip to see the sunset.

The landscape and unique terrain are exceptional. I love how the skywalk was built to blend in with the surrounding terrain. One of the best spots in WA.

The Kalbarri skywalk is a great addition to the area of Kalbarri and the gorges. There are two large platforms extending out into the gorge which offer a great opportunity for photos videos or just admiring the view, there is also a cafe on site which gives you the option to buy some food and coffee. I came here on a morning where it was raining and I had the whole place to myself so I can't really complain because it was a good private experience with awesome views. The Browne Town.

I loved how this piece architecture is completely at home and makes a bold statement at the same time. Needless to say the vistas are superb. National park access is charged per car, also don’t forget to bring a fly net.
