Food was good and prices were in line with those in Chania city centre, but the service was a bit lacking. In most Greek restaurants, it’s customary to be offered a small treat after the meal, such as a shot of raki or a sweet bite. Unfortunately, nobody bothered to bring us anything, even though we spent over €130 on our meal. Don’t get me wrong – I can easily pay for raki or dessert myself – but it’s a nice and very common gesture across Greece, and even much smaller, cheaper restaurants do it as a simple way of saying “thank you for dining with us.” That’s the reason for the 4-star rating.

This was the best place I ate in 5 days in Crete. Most flavorful salad, excellent pasta dish, and the panna cotta was divine. Better than Pallas we went to earlier in the week by a mile.

This restaurant is a hidden gem, tucked away in the back streets of old town Chania. You HAVE to visit here if you are in Crete, the food and the service was 10/10. The Greek salad was amazing, the best one I’ve ever had. My partner had the lamb for mains and said it was the best meal he had the over the 10 days we have been on holiday here. Everything was delicious, make sure to visit!

Kalderimi is a lovely restaurant at the edge of Chania‘s Old Town. The food is amazing, the service is friendly and quick and the design and interior are very chic and tasteful. I had the tangy, zesty fish carpaccio as a starter and the lamb cooked in wine and herbs. Both dishes were more than great! The fish was very fresh and the lamb cooked so softly that it just slipped off the bone! I highly recommend this place.

Great food and service! Catch of the day paired very well with the soup. Boureki was very tasty and hearty. Would come here again for dinner!

Great service and reasonable price. My partner had the mushroom ravioli and it was fantastic. I had the steak which was unfortunately recommended medium and served more towards well. Otherwise it would easily be a 5 star review.

In one of the quieter streets of old Town Chania, this was a pleasant surprise to long-time residents. The food was excellent. My chicken curry had more kick than usual in Greece and the potatoes and broccoli which came with my husband's chicken were charred, crisp and outstanding. Moreover, all of our food was served hot (often not the case here). Will certainly return.
