A Wonderful Stay at Kalderimi Astypalaia! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Katerina, which made us feel at home right away. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious, spotlessly clean, and each one offers a stunning view — either of the sea or the charming Chora. Waking up to such scenery was an absolute dream. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the breakfast – hands down the best we've had anywhere in Greece! Everything was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Our experience at Kalderimi was truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Astypalaia – it’s a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and warm hospitality.

Kalderimi offers unique rooms fully equipped with a kitchen and really spacious . The location is in a calm spot , our room was overlooking the Livadi beach . Walking distance to Chora and Livadi if you can manage the uphill 😊 Breakfast was very nice in terms of quality, offerings and presentation . But what truly stands out is the hospitality of Anna and Katerina who are always smiling and being extremely helpful.

One of the best stay we made in Greek islands. Our room was “Karai”, it was lovely. Hotel location is perfect, you have to rent a car anyways in this island. One of the best beach is also very close by. Thank you Maria, she was such an honest girl, all stuff was very friendly. Room was so clean , breakfast was perfect. Thank you guys, hope to see you soon

Kalderimi Residencies is a picturesque ‘hotel’ with individuel apartments,it feels like having your own little house.|The rooms are very spacious,nice decorated,well aquiped with all amenities ánd very clean.|The view from every room is amazing!|Great breakfast with a view and every day a different choice of savory and sweet,all home made.Sooo good!|Good location too,15 min on foot to Chora and also 15 min on foot to Livadi beach.|Great hospitality.When we arrived we were greeted by Katerina(the owner)and had a nice conversation as if we have known each other for years.But all staff members are so friendly,very welcoming and helpful.||The moment we arrived at Kalderimi I already felt sorry we had to leave after 5 days!!|If we come back to Astypalia we will definitely stay here again.

Kalderimi is a stunning property with different houses , all tasteful decorated overlooking the beautiful bay of Livadi & the Choro |It is a corner of Paradise … Thanks to the attentive owner that has made our holiday memorable & this place magical .|Not to forget the wonderful Greek breakfast Feast served by the lovely Maria every morning on a terrace overlooking the sea & the landscape of Astypalea |We can t wait to come back next year !!!

Not sure how to describe the amazing stay we had at Kalderimi house. The first thing I would mention is the kindness of the owner and all employees there (many thanks to the waitress who served the amazing homemade breakfast and provided fantastic advices on places to explore in Asty). Then, the apartment was extremely well designed, a mix between traditional Greek island houses and modern commodities. Lastly, the location was great with breathtaking landscapes on the Chora. I would fully recommend staying there (and in Asty in general) to feel the authentic atmosphere of a remote Greek island despite visiting the place during the peak season. Thank you so much!!

Fabulous hotel, with a fantastic view from one of the most spectacular Greek islands I have ever been to (and I have been to a few). Bungalows/houses have very Greek-style deco but with a modern twist (AC, cooking hob, coffee facilities). All staff are very family friendly feeling if you need anything on the island ask them - they will be able to help (organise moped for a day, book transport to the local airport, or advice where to go and what to see. The hotel is located nearby the beach all tho it is a quick walk down it could be difficult for the elderly or very young to walk back (I love the daily hike up after a day at the beach). You have B'fast included with your stay and is delicious with local cuisine, every day they prepare a special of the day to try - this is a fantastic idea. Overall BRILLIANT Hotel with a BRILLIANT amosphare.

It's been several months since our stay but we still think about Kalderimi every day, and how nice our time there was. The little house was beautiful, spotless, with just the right amenities and a fantastic balcony that had views of the castle, Livadi beach, and all the mountains flowing down into the Aegean. It was like a tourist brochure come to life every morning. And the staff at Kalderimi made us feel very welcome, with great breakfasts and all kinds of insider information about life on the island. The little complex felt like an oasis, but with just a short walk we could be at the beach or in the Chora. This is a special place. We can't recommend it enough.
