My husband got the breakfast burrito and I got the avocado toast and I asked for three scrambled eggs on the side. The burrito was good sized (looks small in the picture for some reason) and it was delicious! Definately recommend! The eggs were good! Avocado toast wasn't actually toasted. It tasted like it was made in house which was good but was a little tough. I think it would have been much better if it would have been toasted! We also got a cinnamon role and an orange almond muffin. Neither were bad, good but also not anything I would get again. Loved the coffee!! They have a sugar free vanilla which was good! It would be nice to have more sugar free options available but glad they had one though! I loved the atmosphere. Low light and cozy yet a little modern touch to it.

I want to love this place, I really do. My family loves it, my friends love it, but all I taste is something I could make at home for $5 less. Everything I’ve tried has been very bitter yet somehow watered down as well. Very watery, tasteless coffee. The staff is great, the interior is clean, I just don’t vibe with their coffee. Maybe I’m trying the wrong drink? On a good note, the Ube Latte I recently tried was decent, but probably because half of it wasn’t coffee.

Google
One of the best cinnamon rolls ever! I come very often just for the cinnamon rolls, they have a perfect blend of spices and sweet cream cheese frosting on top! I also i enjoy studying there, and the outside patio is great when the weather is warm!

Google
We love Kaldi's! Everyone at this location is so kind, and the cafe has plenty of seating. Our lattes are always made to perfection, and the avocado toast is to die for. 🙌🏻

Google
Great coffee shop. We had a latte and the peppermint mocha, and we both enjoyed our drink. There were many. Vegetarian options and a few vegan as well. They were extremely busy on a Tuesday morning, but we managed to find a place for a quick meeting. This is a very large coffee shop. There were very few outlets, so make sure your computer is charged if you have any work to do.

Easy parking, Ordered online sat in to eat at a meeting. 1st time here. Great breakfast.

Delicious iced mocha in beautiful indoor and outdoor space.

Great little spot with spacious outdoor seating for those nice days. Good coffee and reasonably priced.

Yelp
Packed on a Saturday about 45 minutes befor closing. Line moved fairly quick and counterperson sweet and efficient. I love this seasonal drink, not sure why I ever tried it as I'm not a big rosemary fan, but paired with brown sugar the rosemary is a small hint and oh so good. I am always nervous they won't bring it back and excited when they do!

Yelp
One of my favorite spots to unwind is Kaldi, conveniently situated in the vibrant Kirkwood area of STL. The location boasts plenty of parking, making it easy to pop in and grab a pick-me-up. Upon entering, you're greeted by a spacious atmosphere inviting you to settle in and savor the moment, whether catching up with friends or diving into some work. The staff at Kaldi is like a well-tuned coffee machine--quick, friendly, and always ready to take your order with a smile. My go-to drink is their iced caramel latte, a delightful concoction that perfectly balances rich caramel sweetness and smooth coffee. If you haven't visited yet, I highly recommend stopping by!

Yelp
This is such a great downtown Kirkwood location for breakfast, coffee, or general meet up, catch up with friends. It has a huge patio that is absolutely beautiful to utilize when the weather is great outside. It also has a bunch of indoor seating available as well. Certainly family, friendly and the patio is dog friendly too. I do think the coffee is a smidge on the pricier side, but it is quality so we don't mind it because we are supporting a local business. I have to say I have not really eaten a ton of food there but every different coffee option I have ordered has been delicious. In the warmer months, there will be a flower truck parked outside that you can purchase stems from as well, making for a very beautiful morning activity.

Yelp
Stopped by Kaldi's to grab a coffee and take a couple calls the other day. It's becoming one of my favorite places to work. The staff is really kind and pleasant, and there's always a space to find a seat. The coffee is delicious, and the space has such a local feel compared to other places. Parking can seem tight initially, but there is a free parking garage across from the building/ off of the side street. There is also one behind the building as well. It's also in a great location, perfect place to grab coffee and walk the streets of downtown Kirkwood.

Yelp
Their festive fall drinks and relatively quiet space were the perfect place to work remotely during the week. I also like that they call the order name out through a mic so you can hear your order ring up whether you're inside or outside. I didn't get any food this time because I was sad to discover they have different food at different locations. Their sweet potato and black bean burrito in the previous CWE location and their sour cream with chives from the Midtown location were delicious! I hope they bring these beloved menu items back. They ran out of whole milk when I was there during the week, which happens. I was pleasantly surprised when my drinks still tasted good when made with almond milk.

Yelp
I just visited this location for the first time and had a great experience! It was a beautiful day and we loved all the outdoor seating. The avocado toast is my favorite thing they have, and I added bacon for the first time this time! It was crispy and delicious! Everyone was very friendly and had recommendations for one of their new seasonal coffees. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Yelp
Always a good cup of coffee for folks like me who love a hot dark roast, black. My wife says their latte is also very good. Service in their Kirkwood store is usually solid, but avoid the 9 AM "rush hour" during the school year. When I have breakfast, it is usually the unwrapped breakfast burrito. Very tasty! Sit out on the patio when the weather is good and watch the trains go by!

Yelp
Popped up to Kaldi's today to meet up with a colleague I hadn't seen in ages. I thought this would be the perfect place to meet. I was greeted as soon as I came in, and ordered my coffee and breakfast sandwich. The coffee was ready immediately and my sandwich was brought to my table fairly quickly. I forgot to ask for water, which was fine, because there's a tap and plastic cups on the condiment station, which is a great touch! Even on a workday, they still did a pretty brisk business, which was great to see. (It gets packed on the weekends, but there was still empty seats today on a Thursday) The bakery items looked good, too. I love this place.

Yelp
The food here is amazing! I'm obsessed with the Egg Bagel with sausage, it's perfect. The cookies and muffins are to die for! Their smoothies are so delicious. The vibes here are great for relaxing to study, read a book or to just chill. The people working here are 10/10, Phebe, Eili, and Robert are my favorite. Everyone here is so kind and respectful.

Yelp
Yes, it's expensive, but when I say this is the best coffee in the nation, I mean it with my whole heart. Being home for the holidays means stocking up on kaldis!!!! Ordered a 16 oz. Peppermint mocha (I don't really like Starbucks PMs) with oat milk and it was amazing. Love love love. Total came to like $7.50

Flyguy G.

Yelp
I was given a package of house blend. It was very bland. It says medium roast but very weak. Three scoops for a two cup drip machine. Cheap grocery store coffee was more flavorful.

Yelp
Overpriced and Unaccommodating Kaldi's has redone their menu, which is fine, it's their prerogative to do so. That said, they are extremely unaccommodating. As a diner with specific needs, they were 'unable' to assist, or they could alter a menu item - for example, not put the chicken in a salad, but they still wanted me to pay full price for the item - there was no accommodation. When I asked if I could just have a side or house salad, I was informed that there was no such item - there used to be, and while the staff was very nice about it, they couldn't help me. I asked if I could just get a bagel and instead of scrambled eggs, have soft boiled - that substitution was not allowed. How about just a bagel with cream cheese - sure I was told, but I'd have to pay the bagel and egg price - even without the egg. In the end, I got the yoghurt with granola and berries - literally 3 strawberry halves - so one and a half strawberries- for $7.00! So not worth the price. While their coffee is great, I cannot recommend them.

Yelp
Definitely my favorite (not so little) coffee shop in my hometown. Every time I come to Kaldi's I'm filled with nostalgia with memories of my early high school self who would come here to sometimes study but mostly spend time with my friends. Little did I know back then, the coffee is amazing! Coming back now, it's mostly the same layout with a facelift. It's spacious with tables, booths, comfy chairs, and a community working area. I went with one of the holiday specials, the brown sugar and rosemary latte. This was one of the most unique lattes I've ever had! The rosemary is strong, but is balanced nicely by the coffee and brown sugar. If you're into super sweet drinks, this probably isn't for you, but I enjoyed the unusual flavor combinations and creativity. My husband ordered Kaldi's version of a peppermint mocha and really enjoyed it as well. I usually try to grab a slice of gooey butter cake whenever I pay Kaldi's a visit, because it's my FAVORITE from here. I've also tried plenty breakfast/lunch items on the menu and they are all solid. Kaldi's is definitely a busier coffee shop, but it has truly become a staple in Kirkwood and I'll continue to visit whenever I'm in town!

Yelp
The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because of the wait times. I don't come here very often but I have been more than 3 times. Each time, I have waited over 10 minutes for my drink or food. The first time, my coffee took about 20 minutes. Granted, there was a relatively long line and not too many tables were available, but there were many employees in the back to help out. However, the vibe is very nice and it is a great place to sit and chat as you catch up with your friends and colleagues. The employees are very nice.

Sarah E.

Yelp
Great coffee here! The only downside is that it is so busy, it's hard to find a place to sit. Service is great, and they have great food as well.

Macie R R.

Yelp
I cannot understand what people like about this place. I've always hated kaldis coffee but figured I'd give some non-coffee options a try this morning. For $22 (I think way overpriced compared to similar shops in the area) I got way oversalted breakfast potatoes way over peppered breakfast bagel sandwich (both inedible - I had to toss) and a smoothie that i was enjoying until I took about two sips and realized that most of the cup was actually filled with two quartered bananas that hadn't been blended. Waste of money and terrible food.

Nick L.

Yelp
Bring back the breakfast sandwich! They changed their menu and got rid of a lot of the good food in my opinion. They replaced the delicious breakfast sandwich with some cheap Starbucks tasting breakfast biscuit that tasted microwaved. However, their coffee and bakery products are still really good.

Yelp
Solid place to get drinks and a snack, ordered just a basic cold brew and a muffin and both were good. Great place to get some studying done. Overall environment was good and service was good as well. Would recommend.

Yelp
Perfect place to meet after a run or the gym. Outdoor seating is also available. Heathy and sinful breakfast all available here. The treats and coffee are fantastic, or try the tea service. Lively atmosphere and you're sure to run into or make a friend

Yelp
I ordered a coffee and there was a mixup at checkout that led to me being overcharged. I wouldn't have even caught it (it was minor), but the manager did catch it and immediately coached the new employee on how to handle it -- and then proceeded to give me free drink tokens for next time. The situation was handled so gracefully. I will definitely return and recommend Kaldi's in Kirkwood! It's refreshing to see such great leadership and service! And the drink was drool worthy!
google avatar

Yelp
I came to Kaldi's to use my Experience Book to try a couple lattes. Both Kaldi's locations I've been to with this didn't know what it was and I had to wait for them to ask someone which is slightly annoying but not a big deal. I ordered a fresh mint latte and Mayan mocha. I waited for my coffees and the area around when they came out was a little crowded for what I'm comfortable with right now but I brought my mask in. I love their outdoor seating area it's full of sunshine and has ample amount of seating. The fresh mint latte is definitely better iced when I've tried that variety. The Mayan mocha is pretty good.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to hang out on the weekends. It was mobbed today on a Sunday and the line moved quickly and the staff are so friendly and professional. While I actually go elsewhere for my coffee, I think Kaldis has the best tea in town. Check out the breakfast bowl! Maybe one day they'll have more desserts that are dairy free. Pull up a chair, hang out outside or relax on the couch for a delightful time.

Yelp
The biggest outpost for the local coffee chain Kaldi's, this cafe is in downtown Kirkwood near the train station and ample shopping. A great place to grab a coffee in the morning before heading to the farmers market. The coffee is solid, better than Starbucks by quite a bit in my opinion, and they have a lot of pastry options as well as a menu of hot dishes. We always enjoy the scones, breakfast sandwiches and quiche. My interactions with the staff have always been great, the employees have always been helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that the pastry and drip coffee prices have gotten very high, I paid over $4 for a blue berry muffin. It was very good and fresh, but on the pricey side. There is a parking lot next to the building and a parking garage behind the building where you can park for free. The patio space is very nice for enjoying a morning coffee in good weather and the indoor cafe also has comfortable seating.

Yelp
What a treat to be able to dine in and enjoy my cold brew and pastry while studying! This location seems to have a lot more seating than most Kaldi's, and I appreciated how safe the booths were with high plexiglass dividers. I felt very comfortable here and just wish I had arrived earlier so I could have stayed longer. Beautiful outdoor tables would have been tempting if the weather had been cooler. Staff were exceptionally friendly in Kirkwood, and the only reason I didn't give them five stars is that there was apparently some mixup with my order. After waiting 10 minutes for my drink, I asked about it and the barista apologised and made it immediately. Not sure what happened, but it was worth the wait. Now that I know they close at 3 I'll go earlier (& hopefully get my drink sooner, ha) so I can enjoy more dine-in time.

Yelp
The breakfast burrito needs to be reimagined. Its current form is a mix of sweet potatoes, cheese, an orange wedge, and sausage - just doesn't mix well. Would suggest better defining the approach - either go all in on savory or all in on sweet; straddling the two isn't working well.

Yelp
Kaldi's is a favorite. The Kirkwood location is a decent size and nice for grabbing breakfast or lunch and hanging out. The staff is super helpful for those of us who may have dietary restrictions or can't decide what we want. Kaldi's locally roasts their beans. Whole or ground beans are available for purchase (several varieties). I haven't had anything that wasn't excellent, but I am partial to the Mayan Mocha. Their oats for breakfast are hearty and delicious, too.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute little spot with a great patio. We brought our dog on a Sunday morning and it wasn't too busy. We ordered the avocado toast with the hot sauce on the side and an egg on top and the breakfast burrito.
google avatar

Yelp
Kaldi's Coffee is one of my favorite local coffee shops. They produce and serve really delicious coffees. The store in Kirkwood is spacious which helps with the COVID limitations. The staff is always professional and friendly. I have bought their bagged coffee I store and online. I really enjoy their high quality and the fact that they do not over roast their beans (like a certain national chain). Prices are reasonable and online ordering is easy and painless.

Yelp
I always love coming here. The baristas are so nice and are doing a great job at keeping the place clean during the pandemic! It's a great place to hang out outside or inside get some work done or see a friend. The coffee is always great and the food is even better! Haven't had anything here I haven't liked! Great place!!
google avatar

Rylee T.

Yelp
I've been to this Kaldi's location a couple times and the one thing I really love about this location in particular is the large indoor seating selection. This location also has a really cute outdoor seating area in the summer, conveniently located in Downtown Kirkwood right next to the train station. The last time I was here I ordered the gooey butter cake and it was pretty good! Very sweet (as you would suspect with any gooey butter cake) and fairly fresh. My usual coffee order is the drip coffee which is very fairly priced.

Sarah W.

Yelp
One of my favorite coffee places! The coffee is great, but the environment is even better! The wait times aren't bad and the staff is super nice.
google avatar

Kara S.

Yelp
Great spot in Kirkwood! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Got an iced coffee with oat milk and it was smooth and delicious! No bitter aftertaste. Staff was eager to leave and kicked us out after they closed at 3, I get it, so we left, but overall was a great coffee experience! I'm exvit d to go back and try something different.

Jama K.

Yelp
The WORST. 30 min for 3 coffees. 65min for subpar avocado toast and an egg sandwich. Will never go back.
google avatar

Shell B.

Yelp
I wish they had better pastries!! The coffee is also a little middling. Their seasonal drinks are hit or miss and the baristas often make mistakes. Waits are long when it gets busy.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
This is my favorite coffee shop in Kirkwood. Kaldi's has a nice ambience if you're looking for a spot to relax with friends, or get some work done. Their coffee never disappoints. I also like to get their egg and cheddar biscuit! If you plan to visit them at lunchtime on the weekend, I'd get there before 11am to guarantee you can find a place to sit.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
Location location location. Kaldis on Kirkwood Road has location in its favor, especially on a nice day. The outdoor seating area is the best. You can hear the trains go by, use the WiFi, enjoy the coffee and feel super hip while doing your work at a chain coffee shop. The inside isn't too shabby either. Plenty of space. Super clean. Good service. It's one of the better Kaldis locations. Parking is available on the street or even better - at the free parking garage on Madison.
google avatar

Ben R.

Yelp
Kaldi's is always good. Friendly service...great food...and great coffee. Plenty of good breakfast and lunch options along with good pastries and treats in their case. The Kirkwood location has a nice large outdoor seating area to sit when the weather is nice.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm a HUGE Kaldi's coffee fan. Their Highlander Grogg is incredible and one of my favorite coffees anywhere. I love the vibe of their Kirkwood location and it is a great spot to catch up with a friend on a weekend morning. This location is very popular and can be a bit crowded, but there is ample parking in the free nearby garage. While I love their menu, their food is EXPENSIVE and the portion sizes are very small. I've never tried anything I didn't like, but their blueberry muffin was just ok. Overall, great atmosphere and perfect spot to catch up with a friend and grab a cup of coffee and a quick snack. If you are looking for more of a substantial meal, I'd go elsewhere though.
google avatar

Kelsey F.

Yelp
Kaldi's is always an absolute charm. I have fallen in love with the ambiance, the flavors, the coffee and the staff is always incredible. I've tried almost everything on the menu and have nothing bad to say! They have plenty of vegan, GF, and vegetarian options and have dairy-free options as well. Not too sweet drinks either which is a plus!
google avatar

Tammy S.

Yelp
This location has really gone down hill. Every recent visit has been pretty bad. Today an employee started vacuuming at 2:30 in preparation for their 3:00 closing time. No one could hear a thing! We always feel rushed even when we get there in plenty of time.
google avatar

Matt N.

Yelp
When I moved to the Midwest, I discovered Kaldis coffeehouse. It was friendly enough and the food menu was great. Over the next few years, the menu devolved from Match Burgers and delicious breakfast to premade yuckiness. They took frapuccinos off the menu, and when I asked for something similar, the staff reminded me "that's bad for you!" No duh it's bad for me. I want a treat. And I'm not going to buy treats from you anymore.
google avatar

Amber D.

Yelp
Great food and a nice atmosphere. Stopped in on a rainy day and tried the breakfast burrito and an iced vanilla latte. Will definitely return.

S M.

Yelp
It's a good spot. Only complaint- the manager (brown hair, always there)... I accidentally grabbed someone's tea today instead of my coffee (because it was the wrong size and no names were written on it). I apologized several times and the guy just rolled his eyes and threw it away and asked someone to make a new tea. I didn't even complain that I ordered a 12 oz and didn't get that. By the way, today is my birthday and the first birthday without my mom. So instead of being rude to customers... maybe acknowledge their apology and take a day off work bc your customer service was horrible today.
google avatar

Mary V.

Yelp
I come here for the breakfast burrito. It is so good! The scones are good too! The coffee is great. I love their chai latte as well. The staff are always friendly and helpful!

Yelp
I know this city is now brimming with amazing coffee but I still equate "St. Louis coffee" to "Kaldi's coffee" and always try to stop by when in town. They have hot food, a beautiful pastry display (including vegan options!), and high-quality baristas. The cashiers were friendly as my mom and I asked questions about the menu (and yes, they do have milk alternatives). I can get black coffee whenever, so I wanted to get a little festive and try a seasonal beverage. I went with their brown sugar rosemary latte with almond milk instead of whole milk and... y'all. Delicious. Even my mom thought so, and she doesn't like to branch out from a classic cup of joe. We also got food - a breakfast burrito sans cheese for me and a crustless quiche for my mom since she tries to avoid gluten. We nestled into a back booth and our food was brought to us once it was ready. Everything was so flavorful and warm and filling - much needed after a long, cold morning of traveling 1000 miles to town. My mom got what she thought was salsa with her food but we think it might have actually been tomato jam - it was sweet, not spicy, and went so well with her sweet potato home fries. Two full meals, a coffee and a speciality latte all came to $24. Not too shabby for quality coffee and ingredients. Love this place!

Yelp
The best coffee shop around! It has the perfect location in Kirkwood and the most wonderful staff. It's a fairly large place, but it's still so cozy! The food is great, the coffee is great, and they also have a lovely selection of tea! My personal favorite is the Italian Grey, and if you get it "for here" it comes in the cutest little setup - a glass pitcher and two porcelain cups. Great place to sit down and enjoy a hot drink and some wonderful food.

Yelp
The main reason why this Kaldi's is my second favorite location (with the DeMun location being my first): the work table. Yup, this Kaldi's has a big work table that seats maybe 7-8 people, outlets surround the entire thing, and it's the mecca of productivity. The staff is some of the best in the biz, and they make a mean oatmeal with bananas and strawberries. Parking is great as there's a huge lot right next to the place, and it's the perfect amount of busy thoughout the day. The person working the register gives me a good amount of hours on the wi-fi and it's one of the few places I feel like I'm not a total weirdo if I sit there for multiple hours with my face in my laptop. There's always several blends of coffee available, too. When I feel like driving over (it's a good 20 minutes from home), it's always worth it. It's big, it's spacious, and just downright lovely.

Yelp
I stoped in on my way into work one morning for a cup of coffee and a quick breakfast. I ordered the avocado toast and the house blend. The service was great, the area quiet and spacious- I can see this being a great spot to study or read if you needed a change in venue. It's in a easy to access part of Kirkwood where the parking garage located behind always has a spot and it's a quick in and out if you are in a rush. The pastry selection looked amazing - but I stayed away from the temptation. Next time I probably won't have that will power! The coffee was bold in flavor and very tasty! It wasn't too strong and the flavor was nice and balanced. It's hard to make a hot cup of coffee not highly acidic - which is why cold brew is so good- but this blend was so well balanced I skipped the cream and drank it black! The avocado toast was something to behold! Not your meager toast and some artfully smashed avocado- this was a work of art in flavor and visual form! It had some shredded greens and a delicate cheese layered over the avocado and then a slightly spicy sauce over the top that rounded out this amazing breakfast! I highly recommend this if you are into avocado toast- it's not basic here at all!

Yelp
This coffee shop has a lovely outdoor sitting area, perfect for a summer morning. The place was fairly busy, and customer service is subpar from what I have experienced. I ordered some breakfast and a chai tea. The iced Chai tea latte was pretty good, if you like a spicy chai. It is definitely not very sweet. I also ordered the avocado toast, however, I was surprised to see it did come with hot wing sauce drizzled all over the top. Not my favorite thing in the world. If it was mentioned on the menu it was not very clear, but I have a feeling it wasn't. The "toast" was also not toasted and it was pretty much just a thick piece of bread. I give 3 stars because the avocado toast seemed a bit overpriced for quality, however, the presentation was pretty nice (as you can see in photo).
